Those Guys Motorcycle Repair

I bought a 2007 Kawasaki Nina 250R a few years back, replaced a single part on the suggestion of the seller, and rode it without getting anything changed on it, including oil, for about four years. Call me an idiot or call me lazy. It was in bad shape and was having trouble starting last week so I finally took it in.
The sound it made after Those Guys worked on it… I’ve literally never heard it sound so perfect. It has never rode this smoothly as long as I’ve owned it. I had no idea it was supposed to be this nice. Those Guys has blown my mind.
The shop isn’t pretty, and honestly that was my first sign that I was in the right place. These guys get their hands dirty to get your bike cleaned up, and they do it for a great price.
I highly recommend them. Can’t recommend them enough, honestly.

Don’t judge a book by its cover! I found those guys right here on Unilocal.I was looking for a shop that would charge me an arm and a leg to help me out of a bind. My bike had no spark and I lille to work on my own bike. I changed the spark plug wires, ingition coil and finally the ignition module. Still nothing. Called them, Mike was a very nice guy. He tried to walk me through some troubleshooting,(he didn’t want me to have to pay him to fix it if I could fix it myself) but I’m more of a tinker than a mechanic. So I took it to him. The shop is a little cluttered, but a clean shop, in my opinion, means they ate more interested in cleaning than fixing bikes. 2 days and it was fixed. They took me back, explained the problem and showed me how they fixed it. Great guys! Very knowledgeable, funny and easy to deal with.

If I could give this place a negative rating, I would! We thought that because of the reviews it would be a great place and trustworthy at that. However, they lost my key to my bike, it had a flat tire, they hadn’t done anything to it, (probably ‘cos they lost the key and didn’t bother to let me know until I came to pick it up 2 days later than their time limit. They told me that I had to pay for a new key when these guys lost it in the first place! They are arrogant and rude and I would not refer an enemy to them if they were the only ones in Vegas! Stay away from here! RIPOFFS AT BEST!!!

Mike was the only shop open on Monday and my husband’s bike broke down 5 miles out of Vegas. He was driving from Spokane to New Orleans and gas was gushing out of the bike. I called Mike from Spokane because WIFI and our phone was limited and he bent over backwards, even called a towing company, Anthony’s to get the bike towed since the other company via Triple AAA were idiots. Even over the phone the honesty and integrity was apparent. Thank you Mike for helping a wife over 900 miles away feel better!!! Teresa

there are three things that you can experience at a repair shop, quality, quick and cost. You will only ever get two out of thee, always. If you want quality and you want it quick its going to cost a lot. If you want quality work and you want it to cost less it will take longer.
At Those Guys I have experience two different sets. When my bike would die every time you gave it throttle it took a few weeks for them to get it right. I even had to bring it back in after they thought they fixed the problem and it started up again. they offered to continue working on it till they got it right free of charge. I haven’t had a problem with the bike dying since. but it took longer than I would have liked.
later on I took it in to get a oil leak fixed, they had it done the same day I dropped it off and it was a way good price. though after taking some stuff off to get to the leak they forgot to put some parts back on. I only noticed one piece at the shop and had them put it on real quick but a few other parts I didn’t realize till it was to late and it cause an accident.
I do like this place, it is the most reasonably price place that I have seen. but if they do something real fast make sure to double check the quality.

I’m going to put it at 3 stars for now cause all the did was an oil change. I got there at 7:30 am the owner was in. Nice guy sounds very knowledgeable in his craft. I had to wait for his mechanic to come in. He said that he wouldn’t any of his mechanics work on his own bike. When he finally arrived he did the oil change with the confidence of what seemed like he had done a 1000 before. It was quick and calculated.
The owner Mike is a really nice guy and has what I consider an honest hand shake. I’ll go back again for a serious maintenance fix. Could get more stars but again I need to leave that to be edited at a later date. The place is a mess so be prepared for that. Keep the rubber side down.

Mike and his guys will bend over backwards for you. Down to earth and honest. I can’t understand anyone giving this place a bad review. There has to be more to the story than what they wrote… meaning a side to the story we’re not getting. This is the only place I’ll go.

I suppose I’m turning into some what of a motorcycle shop reviewer here on Unilocal,which is not necessarily a great thing, but when you ride an old scooter it often comes with the territory. This time my center stand brackets had warped because some fat guy plopped down on the back of the bike and warped the brackets. So I took it to Vegas PowerSports. U wasn’t too impressed with them (see review) so after they sent me on my way I started looking for a shop that was open late on a Saturday afternoon. This is how I found Those Guys.
The place was super hard for me to find since its off the street and I have a terrible sense of directions. Once I found it they seemed pretty cool. I hung out while they looked at my scooter. The more I hung out the more convinced I became that this shop and the people that worked there would make for successful reality TV. They’re a bunch of characters for sure. I like that.
My stand was fixed in about 40 mins and we sat and yakked for about 20 more. The price was right for the work they did. Michael gave me the impression he knows quite a bit about old motorcycles. My breaks just started acting funny so Ill be back there this week!

Good guys here. Quoted me a reasonable price, ended up costing them more in the long run but they stuck to their quote. Mike’s a man of his word. I’ll be taking my bike back to them for some clutch work soon and I’ll follow up with a second review.

Worked with Mike to have my 82 Honda stripped down to the bone. Mike runs a honest shop and does good work. He charges at rates that make sense and does not rip you off. A rare thing to find in the automotive business.

My chain loosened in an accident somewhere in Utah and I limped my bike all the way to Vegas where I brought it to Those Guys.
Doc took care of me and gave me an awesome deal.
Take your motorcycle here and you will not be disappointed.

Pleases stay away from this place if you have a sports bike. My headlights went out and I took it there for repairs. A few day later I show up to get it after a call that it has been repaired. They charged me 277.00 to sauter some wires and when I arrived the headlights still did not work. His explanation was that there was a ghost in the machine. Please go to a more reputable place. I ended up taking it to ride now and they I need a new switch from the jump.

Although when you first walk in the front of the shop looks like it needs a little facelift, Those Guys Motorcycle Repair is a great place to take your bike. They charge way less than a dealer (and probably than any other shop in the area) and are real and upfront with you. The owner is a long time rider and you can tell he does this because he loves it, same goes for the other guys at the shop. They really care about you and your safety. They repair both sports bikes and cruisers, and there is a specialist for each. They are professional and know what they are doing, and at the same time casual and friendly and will work with your unique situation. I completely trust them with my bike. I had a 15k service done on my sport touring bike and now it runs perfectly! Highly recommended!
