Absolutely LOVE this ice cream. I love the Black Cherry and my husband loves the pistachio and our kids like cotton candy and sherbet. I would suggest this to anyone it’s amazing ice cream.

We always go to this location. Tonight we felt so un welcomed we ended up leaving. There was a worker who had just come in from outside (his name tag said Robert) Understandably, he took off his jacket, washed his hands very thoroughly. Dried his hands. Re-​stacked napkins, turned around, walked away from the ice cream area, picked up a miniscule piece of paper all the way in front of the main store counter, then picked up another small scrap. Grabbed 2 paper towels and walked away. We were told he’d be right back, but it seemed as though he wanted to do anything but serve us ice cream. We left. We found another place that serves thriftys ice cream close by and they were happy to serve us.

Walked in and they had left the freezer open (i dont know how long they been open). They also had empty ice cream bins laying around and the scoopers left on top on the freezer instead of the sink… so disappointing

My wife and I love thrifty ice cream. We’ve been getting Thrifty ice cream since it was ten cents a scoop. This location is at a Texaco gas station on the corner of Durango and Centennial. The staff here is always extremely friendly and helpful. The ice cream is exactly what we have come to expect from the high quality thrifty ice cream that we love so much. If you have not had Thrifty’s double chocolate malted crunch you need to try it!
