The Power supply quit on my HP Desk Top had TLC do a Diagnostic to make sure. Replaced the power pack with a new one in three days had my computer up and running like new.
They are very professional and very fast.
Would recommend TLC to all. They also do phone repair new glass, will replace power port ect.

I had a virus, I went in they fixed my lap top timely and at a low cost… I will use them again.

I found them very helpful. My daughter dropped her phone and broke the screen and could not retrieve her photos because she could not enter her code they were able to get her photos off for her for what a consider a small fee!

I have seven reviews and I have never written a bad one till now so best to heed my warning.
Do yourself a Favor and avoid the headache!!!

«I recently brought in my computer, two iPhones, and a laptop for repairs. I now have more issues than when I brought them in. I have been in California dealing with mediation and legal proceedings and came home to finally try out my $ 4,500 build and I’m extremely upset and frustrated, to say the least.
First of all, follow-​up calls regarding the status of my repairs were hit or miss at best, and there was always confusion between every person I talked to. When my laptop was «ready,» I came in to pick it up and the bottom plate fell off because someone forgot to put the screws back in.
Secondly, when I came in to pick up my phones, they where both dead and the person helping me stated he did not know the status of them or the details on my computer. I dropped off two external hard drives — one was good and one was bad — to have someone in your shop recover the data from the bad one and transfer it to the good one. Your tech stated he accidentally threw away part of the bad external hard drive (which he could not recover the data from) and was trying to have someone find it in the trash. I’m going to need both external hard drives returned to me as the tech also forgot to give me the good one back while I was there. Due to the inconvenience your shop has put me through, I’m requesting that you please mail both of them to me. Please contact me with the tracking number once it’s scheduled for delivery.
My one-​year old daughter makes it tough for me to come in there, and every time, I called prior to coming in and then nothing was ready and confusion ensued. Like being told the price was $ 200 for labor, and when I got there, the price was actually $ 319. I figured $ 200 was wrong, but my point is nobody had correct or accurate information, The employees that worked on my items never seemed to be working when I came by, and no one could property update me and it always seemed like a guessing game over the phone as to the status of my items. No one was ever available to speak with me, even after someone from your shop called me saying something was completed and ready for pick up.
It is absurd what I went through! I truly expected more. Especially from your Unilocal and Angie reviews. I am blown away by the lack of communication, professionalism, and actual service I received. My laptop is the only properly working Item. I could go on with more specifics but the main issues are this:
Computer:
1) I requested only unused programs be removed and my entire computer was wiped clean! I hope your shop took precaution and was proactive enough to have a restore version of my computer for me. I spent a lot of time making adjustments installing browsers, cortina, mail, etc. I clearly had my computer well defined with a clean set up and anyone could see that. Wouldn’t someone call first before such a big move? There were just a couple programs I was unsure of that I wanted checked to see if they were not needed. Why didn’t some one just call me first?!;
2) My computer takes longer to boot up now and the Internet no longer reconnects from sleep mode; and
3) I had to create a new login and still have to use a pin.
iPhones:
1) GPS no longer works on either phone;
2) Wifi no longer works on either phone;
3) Wifi antenna was not replaced even though I requested it and the phone was opened to install a battery; and
4) iPhones do not hold a charge very long, even after several cycles. I paid for two new batteries, and battery life did not improve.
I appreciate Chris getting my RAM installed and working properly, and I think Chris is the best tech you have. I should have been dealing with him directly through the entire process, but was only able to speak with him once on his way out. He did call after I had already picked up my computer but the damage was done.
I’m requesting a full refund for what I paid on my phones and computer that I now need to have re-​repaired. I do not feel confident, what-​so-​ever, in bringing any of my items back to your shop. Put yourself in my shoes; how upset would you be as the customer to have to go through all that I’ve been through dealing with your shop, only to learn your entire computer was wiped clean and is now having more issues then when you brought it in?
Of note, the best computer repair shops I have dealt with have the computer up and running in the shop, ready for the customer upon arrival to check it out before paying, making sure all is well. Not to mention the invoice ready, and all the other items that were brought in, bagged up, and ready to go. That should be common place, John, especially on a machine like mine with my specific requests and paying $ 319 in labor.

I have known John and been taking my computers to him since he started in his garage. His company is amazing. He and his people, especially Matthew, are the only people allowed to work on my computers. They are affordable and a pleasure to work with. TLC is fast and I have no problems once my computer is repaired. They are honest and I have no compunction about recommending everyone I know to them. Quite simply I wouldn’t go to anyone else!

The service is always friendly and they have always fixed any issues I’ve had. My husband also likes their quick service.

Complete wizardry. My lap top is more than 10 years old but John and the crew keep it up to date and working in light speed — And they get the work done super fast. Trustworthy, responsible and possess the necessary expertise to get any job done with complete satisfaction.

John the owner is honest and gives you a fare price. His employees are the same. They know what they are doing. Pulse if you want to sale your device he’ll put it in consignment

I am happy to say we have been taking our computers to TLC for years. The owner and his employees always show care with our computer problems. They listen and have always been helpful to us. They are knowledgeable and give very good service. We are very satisfied customers and you will be too.

I have been taking my desktop computer and laptop to TLC for any problem that arises over the past 3 years. I am extremely pleased with TLC. I used them when my laptop wasn’t working properly. They gave me honest advice about the services I would need to get. I ended up getting a back up of my contents on a flash drive and receiving my hard drive. I donated the leftover pieces to them. For every business that gets a bad review someone forgets to give a good review to the businesses that deserve it. I recently spilled water on my laptop and brought it in to TLC Computer Solutions to have them look at it. I dealt with John the owner and he was very thorough about their process and how my situation would be handled. I do a lot of work on my computer and needed it quickly. John explained that they have a warranty service that would cost $ 60. Basically, instead of me working with my computer vendor’s warranty department TLC would. This seem to me to be the best way to handle things as I didn’t want to waste company time fixing my computer. John contacted me throughout the process to give me updates and gave me accurate time-​lines for when my computer would be completed. I ended up getting my laptop back as if nothing happened and I ended up paying $ 40 (thanks Unilocal) because Unilocal had a $ 20 off first time check ins. I will definitely recommend and come back to TLC for all my computer needs.

I brought my husband’s laptop here for repair. I found the service to be quick and efficient. Staff here seems knowledgeable and is very personable.
They offer free diagnosis and usually have a 24 hour turnaround time to contact you with the issue and the cost and at that time you may then accept or decline their service.
I am unable to offer price comparison as this was the first time using a computer repair service, but I will say, they started out with a higher quote than what I ended up paying today, so that’s always a nice surprise.
It seems to be a smaller operation therefore the pricing may be more reasonable here or at least cheaper in many cases than buying a new electronic piece. They also offer service on a number of electronic devises.

I have been to many electronic /​computer stores & TLC is my favorite. The staff is friendly, the equipment top notch & the prices are reasonable. I am not a computer savvy person & have been made to feel inferior in other places. This place knows their stuff & appreciates your business. Highly recommended.

TLC Computer Solutions is a superior company. Despite having a highly-​regarded security software package on my laptop, some viruses were able to find their way in and create endless headaches. After over a week of working with the software company to find a remedy, I took it to TLC. Initial and subsequent customer interaction was exemplary. I was especially pleased with removal of all the viruses and the patching of holes that the viruses apparently used to enter. My laptop is now working very well. If I have future issues with any of my computers, I will return to TLC.

I have been using, building and programming computers since 1982, back in the old Tandy TRS-​80 and Co-​co 1, 2, and 3. I am retired now and frankly my eyesight has reached the point that I just cannot see all the tiny bits and pieces that used to give me no problems 20 years ago. I have a nice Toshiba Qosimo laptop with an 18 inch screen that started crashing due to overheating. Could have been the air circulation blocked by lint, a borked CPU or possibly a bad memory chip. I’ve dealt with them all in the past. It also can be software related. I decided to give TLC a try and described the problems. The owner quoted me $ 130, which, in my experience was a bit on the low side, since I knew the absolute minimum work was to disassemble, clean the airways, check the fan and the CPU and possibly put some new thermal grease between the CPU and the heat sink (about 2 hours work).
The problem was determined by them to be software related and it was fixed with an OS re-​install. They also reinstalled and updated all drivers and installed a remote connection/​diagnostic app and other basic apps along with all my old data. The final cost was $ 130, just as they said, and all issues were 100% fixed. I know the amount of time spent for all this, having done similar work myself more times than I care to remember on my company’s fleet of 30 computers — and these guys seriously undercharged me. I offered to pay more but they declined. These guys are honest and as good as it gets in the computer service area. Thank You!

Bojan, the General Manager came over to my house after I just moved and had difficulties with the computer and printer all working. He came out, was extremely thorough and excellent in everything he did… He is not only a fabulous technician but a great guy as well!
All of my past experiences with them have been great… they are always there for me and I so appreciate everyone there!!!

I had an old laptop that had kept giving me a «no memory available» error even though I had moved all my info to an external hard drive, plus I was never able to use wireless with it. I decided to take it to TLC and let them work on it because I wanted to set it up for my business applications only.
TLC did a nice job of cleaning it up, replaced a faulty harddrive for $ 89, and managed to save a lot of my stuff. I basically got a new computer for $ 225 all in, with a better browser, 500 GB hard drive, and the wireless works flawlessly.
Fair price, good service. They have a 1 year warranty on the parts, and will offer 50% off labor for any issues.

John and his staff have repaired a couple of my computers. I have always found them to be professional and reasonable in their pricing.
