Terrific bookstore in old Las Vegas! Lots of local titles, fables and folklore mix with history. Its qua, well organized and clean. And unfortunately they are struggling to stay afloat, s some patronage from you would be great!

Absolutely a community anchor, this store has survived and thrived as others have hit the skids. The owners are continually trying to find ways to make the store more inviting and to keep up with current trends. Yet at the same time they maintain a core philosophy that feels just right for new readers as well as those of us who would never be without printed books. They will gladly order books for you, and they keep track of your preferences in a friendly way, letting you know when new titles that match your likes come in. Anyone who loves books should buy a book at Tome from time to time to keep this business alive and well.

I love this store, they have a great selection of new and used books. It’s elegant and comfy and the guys behind the counter are friendly and helpful. Las Vegas is an odd town, but certainly worth a visit — lots of great little stores, and things to see.

This bookstore is working hard to make itself a cultural hub in the Las Vegas, NM community. Tome on the Range is cute with a surprising variety of titles, both new and a few lightly used. Staff is helpful and friendly and contributes to a «Staff Picks» section which is inspiring. Activities for all ages, readings, and special events make this store a keeper. I try to buy several books each month because we must support this local gem.

What a lovely little gem of a bookstore! Well laid out, lots of great little gifts. Really appreciated their local section and picked up a small cookbook for my dad. Enjoyed the extensive kids section and was pleased to see a used book section. What a nice place, I’d be insanely lucky to find something like this in Dallas!

As quoted by Vicki of Tome on the Range, «Las Vegas is very lucky to have a bookstore like this». While bookstores like these are not too uncommon in Austin, finding it in small-town New Mexico was blessing. I had lunch at Estella’s on my road trip from Austin to Colorado Springs and decided to walk around for a bit. Right next door was Tome on the Range. It is a perfect blend of progressive independent bookstore and Southwest flavor. You will find plenty of books and items from local New Mexico authors and artists. You will also find the usual set of Kikkerland products and Moleskines. I chatted with Vicki who was very proud(and should be very proud) to be part of such a business. This store is a must for anyone passing by or staying in Las Vegas.
