Tommy Wind Theater

Tommy WInd has got to be the very best family/​child friendly/​appropriate show in Las Vegas. The show is great for any age. My daughter Julia who is 10, loved his performance as did the other young people in the audience. He interacts with the crowd and keeps it clean. I would definitely recommend Tommy WInd if you want to see an entertaining show with the kids. KIds 12 and under are free with each adult and I got the tickets from Half Price Tickets.

Don’t be mistaken… this is a wholesome show. It’s a great place to go with kiddos and family. If you’re looking for something to do with kids that’s not $ 100/​person, funny and entertaining, this is it. Theater is located right off the strip and has a parking lot that can’t be beat!

This is a pretty good theater. It’s located on the Strip by the Polo Towers. There is a parking lot specifically for this theater (note: parking is $ 10).
When you walk in, there’s a check-​in desk where you can purchase or pickup tickets. You then proceed to a bar area with high tops where you wait (and can have a drink). An usher then comes in to get you row by row and shows you to your seats.
It’s small-​ish, but doesn’t feel small. The high ceilings help. There are tables upfront, booths on the sides, and then rows of chairs. There’s nothing fancy or remarkable about it. There’s a server that comes around to take drink orders during the show.
For $ 20 you can upgrade your seats to a front table. This is actually worth it if you plan on drinking as it includes two drinks tickets (so you’re going to spend $ 20 anyways).
There are several shows here at different times. The show we saw was Men of Steele, which was amazing! No for real. It was like Magic Mike in real life.

Fun show! Tommy is a funny and talented performer with very good showmanship. We very much enjoyed the show. Good for all ages! The theatre was off the beaten path and the area around it was sketchy but it had a community theatre feel inside. Staff were friendly. The only complaint we had was the bar. We sat down in the lounge to have a couple of drinks before show time, and that was a mistake. The bartender didn’t know what the different cocktails actually were and had to refer to a cheat sheet (hand-​written paper) to tell us what was in them when we asked. Even worse, when we did order, he poured the pre-​mixed cocktails from an old Costco-​size plastic maraschino cherry jug over ice, and those were our drinks. I’d recommend the show but not the lounge/​bar. The bar needs Jon Taffer to come in and clean house!

I would give NO stars if I could!
Went to go see Rob Garrett perform as Neil Diamond on Jan 3, 2016. As locals, we got free tickets from Fill A Seat. Love Rob Garrett, so this is not a slam on his performance.
We get there at 5:45 PM for a 6 PM show. They were sound checking well after show start time.
Hub and I said we would wait until 6:30 before bolting.
No announcement of why we were waiting… No offer of 2 for 1 drinks for the inconvenience or waiting well past show time… we left at 6:30 PM… very disappointed.
I do not want to hear a sound check of the whole show in the bar? Are these people insane that run this place?
Do NOT go… there is no organization, no care and the place is filthy. as mentioned in another review, the bathroom was hideous.
This will be my last visit here no matter who performs next.
Too bad, because Rob Garrett deserves SO MUCH BETTER THAN THIS PLACE!

Famed funny man vinnie favorito performs at 10 pm thursday, Friday & Saturday nights at the Tommy wind theater. His Unilocal reviews are 4.5 stars.

Nice setup and a comfortable theater for anything, whether it’s Tommy Wind or whatever. Though we were here for Tommy. Bar, lots of seating including tables at the side and a balcony above. It’s right on the strip near the MGM and such. What’s not to like?
Yes, it’s down a strange little alley that makes no sense. And that’s why we’re at 3 instead of 4 stars. They need a better sign.

BIG MISTAKE! This whole venue is not good at all.
I came here for an Islander concert and we were standing in the long line since 9pm and did not get in until 11:30pm.
When we entered there was only 1 bartender who clearly didn’t know what drinks were what. Also, he didn’t know how to add or subtract in his head to give change. But really 1 bartender at the entrance where everyone is stopping to have a drink? I felt bad for him.
The venue itself is dirty and there’s no one cleaning the restrooms. Really 11:30am and no toilet paper? It was disgusting that we actually left the venue. Never again and I would never recommend this place to anyone either no matter how good the artists are.

The place is really hard to find. Once we found it we had to walk down a weird dark alley to get there. No one was at the counter and it was hard to get seated. The inside was fine, some better staff could improve the place.

Excellent job by a young magician who has skills beyond his years. I am a long time member of the «Magic Castle» in Hollywood and have seen the best over the years. You will see Tommy Wind in a large venue in years to come. It’s obvious he has studied his craft and put together a great show both in pacing, music, and comedy. He performs some of the same illusions you would see in the big Vegas shows that charge $ 125 bucks a see.
Great personal interaction with the audience and well worth your time. All the seating give you a great view of the stage, but if you get their early, you can grab the first few rows.
It’s a small venue of 250 or so people so the sight lines are good from anywhere. It’s a family friendly show, so you won’t be embarrassed if you bring the kids.
For the price and entertainment value… this is a Must Do.

Tommy Wind and his Event Center are going to suffer the same tragedy EVERYONE/​BUSINESS has endured by occupying that building. They can’t pay debts, had to buy a building so their Son can perform in Las Vegas and burn every bridge they make in two weeks. The father and son are homophobes and the mother is the crazy (addicted) face of the «empire». The hip hop night is the only night that brings business and they wonder why they can’t replicate the success? It’s because the TW Staff does not have there hands involved in it at all expect when it comes to open hand from promoter for cash to use VENUE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENUE AND MAGIC SHOWS!

I went to this theater tonight with a concierge event thanks to Where Magazine. These events sometimes are similar to elite events but this was more just a show so I feel it’s fair to review it in whole.
The show was a concert of the stars. The stars (impersonators) included Elton John, Dolly Parton, Michael Jackson, the Blues Brothers, and of course Elvis. The advertisement mentioned Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse so maybe they did a short version, or just decided those acts didn’t really belong in this group. Either option made sense.
I went with my boyfriend and daughter. Now my 11 year old surprisingly knew a few oldies (for her age) like Dolly’s «Jolene» and one of the Elton John songs. For no other reason than she watches Glee. This was almost like Glee in person so she enjoyed herself.
My boyfriend and I seem threw some of the cheesy-​ness and lack of skill some had. Others were awesome. Only real complaints were 2 small things: 1 drink prices. We got 1 free yet somehow a Shirley temple, a sprite, and a vodka cran came to $ 28. Strip prices no doubt. 2– MJ’s nose. Dude either was truly unfortunately blessed by a monstrosity of a point curvy nose or the make up guys were in a major rush. Everyone noticed and said something about it. But hey, his voice and moonwalk were on point.
I’d say the blues brothers up there breaking a sweat was my favorite performance.
I love being a concierge and getting to try the new shows first. This show would be great for the 40 – 60 crowd. Locals for sure should get 2−4-1s. On drinks and tix! Overall my family and I enjoyed the show, and thanks Where magazine for the tickets.

Went here last week for the show Stars in Concert and thought it was a fabulous show. The performers were really talented. They sang and danced well and they looked, sounded, and acted very much like the artists they were imitating. I really was pleasantly surprised. I really loved the Michael Jackson performer! He moonwalked all over the stage!
However, there weren’t many people in the audience so I decided to write this review to encourage more people to see the show since I thoroughly enjoyed it! My only gripe is the $ 5 parking and the odd location. It is on the Strip but venue is actually some what behind a row of shops and you can easily drive by it like we did. If you have never been there it might be a little challenging finding it. But so worth it! :)

Was fortunate enough to see Tommy Wind perform this past weekend. The venue is quite nice, friendly staff and prompt with showtimes.
Tommy Wind is a very good illusionist and entertainer, very refreshing he includes his mother and father in the act. By the way from a few rows back his dad reminds me of Clay from SOA. Anyways I digress.
It was a very nice show, me and my large family enjoyed it. Tommy even posed for a picture with my 6 year old daughter.

I went here last night to attend the show Stars in Concert. I had been to this theatre about 7 years ago for another show. The theatre has been changed some since that time and the changes are good.
This venue is really a great, smaller venue. There are about 40 round tables on the floor each seating 4 people. In addition, there are 5 rows of theatre style seats in the back. I sat in the first row here, and it was very comfortable and I had great sight lines. Again, it’s a small venue so you can see well wherever you are. The theatre has good sound and the lighting was well done for the show.
There’s a lounge area with bar before you enter the theatre so if you’re early, you can have a drink and relax. Seating was done promptly 15 minutes before show time. The employees I came into contact with last night were all very pleasant with great smiles and were very helpful from ticketing to seating.
The only drawback may be finding the place the first time you go there. You need to remember you enter a small alley just north of Walgreens and before McDonalds. Parking is available behind the theatre and it’s a short distance down this alley.
A word about the show. I came to see Stars in Concert which is in its first week at this theatre. The show was very good. Rotating impersonators sing live music of famous people. There was a 4 piece band on a platform raised above the stage. Last night, there were impersonators of Tina Turner, Michael Jackson, Elton John, Beyonce, Whitney Houston, and the Soul Brothers. All music is live. There is no lip syncing! Not a bad show at all.
I’ll be back for another show which goes on earlier.

Nice venue.
The two times I have been here I saw Hip Hop Legends Tribute and Tommy Wind’s Music/​Magic Show.
You have 4 chairs to every table. It’s a nice intimate setting especially when the lights are done right. The stage is a decent size. The sound system is pretty good as well.
I can imagine a nice sized concert here comparable to House of Blues and Hard Rock Café, meaning the standing room only kind of venue.
For you alcoholics there is full bar for all your alcohol needs.
The location is kind of in a weird place because you gotta go down an alley off Las Vegas Blvd (The Strip) in between Fatburger and Walgreens. Once you pass the 24 hour Korean Bbq on your right, the entrance to the theatre will be right in front of you. Valet parking is available to your left.

I’m lucky to have watched a few shows at The Bouelvard Theater including Tommy Wind’s Music & Magic Show, Barbra and Frank and Hip Hop Legends. I’ve also had the opportunity to see the venue transform into a nightclub.
The shows are a great deal, the venue is top notch, and the customer service is excellent. If you’re looking to try something different, but still stay on the Las Vegas Strip, then this may be the place for you. It’s on the same block as MGM, across the street from the Monte Carlo. Just enter the driveway between Fat Burger & Walgreens. For locals, this place use to be known as Utopia or Empire Ballroom. Only the venue has now been newly renovated and prides itself on offering live theater performances, in addition to nightlife entertainment.
TIP: If you get a chance to stop by, try and visit the outdoor patio upstairs. Excellent view of the Strip!
