Trammel Dance Studio

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DANCE STUDIO, ITS NOTHING BUT A BIG SCAM. My child was at this dance studio for a 14 months, she was in the combo class. This dance studio has 2 recitals a year. You will find the recitals are sloppy and no on is on que and the routine isn’t practiced, nor polished. The owners daughter is the main event in every performance. as the age groups get older the recital performances get worse. My daughter didn’t learn one new move, or a ballet position in a year. THIS PLACE IS AWFUL. We paid 100 for the costume had the recital in December then 2 weeks later she ran a groupon ad for the next recital in July in Jan and we all had to have our costume paid for with in 2 weeks of the last recital for the next recital. The instructor doesn’t show the kids what to do. the instructor which is generally Rochelle or some fly by night teacher she brings in to teach the kids a class cant even do any of the moves she wants the kids to do. The classes are the same thing week after week. I have never taken a dance class of any type ever in my life and could instruct the classes at the this awful Dance Studio. The kids can wear what ever they want to practice, the practices are not uniformed nor or the out fits. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT YOU CHILD TO LEARN ANY FORM OR BASICS OF DANCE DINT GO HERE.

THis is our third studio after experiencing one studio in spring valley that was super unfriendly and very strict, and another where the kids learned nothing and I felt like I was paying for playtime, we were happy to find Trammel. In my opinion, this is a very balanced studio. There is definitely learning going on, and the students are expected to be respectful and give their best, but it’s in a friendly down to earth environment. I’m not sure what the summer recital costumes are going to run yet, but I do know that recital tickets aren’t free at any studio. The holiday show tickets are $ 16, and I’m guessing the price is the same for the next recital. Some places just choose really cheap and flimsy costumes then tack on the ticket price. I’m looking forward to the holiday show, and hope to join the studio in Disneyland next year.

Please be very careful with this one. Paid big money for the recital custom ($ 85) and then have to find out that the parents and family members over 3 years of age have to pay $ 16 per person to attend. This information could have been put out to the parents when the order for the customs were taken but not three months later. Now the child is angry because we cannot afford to go and we had already paid for the custom. chalk up another rip-​off loss. Child has been in hip hop class for five months now and hasn’t learned anything excerpt how to tumble. Waste of money.

Beware! This is the worst dance studio in all of Las Vegas! The family that owns it is rude, condecending, and lie about the families that attend there. The woman that runs the place, rachelle, is mean and ruthless. She cares about money and NOT the kids. It has been such a disheartening, terrible experience. I am disappointed that they can even remain open with the disorganized way that everything is run. Please do not even consider sending your children here. Find a kind and welcoming dance studio instead.
