Mori and the Uehara crew are great guys. I brought in my Subaru Legacy after making an appointment for a full suspension install with wheel/​tire mounting. The pricing and quality of work was great and their communication was top notch. Mori offered tips on which parts would work best for my car and i couldn’t be happier with the results. Definitely recommend!

I have 2 Subarus which are reliable, but when something does need fixing, it gets expensive. For example, I asked the dealer for a quote just to remove a filter to the turbo and i was quoted 450 bucks and an estimated 6 hours of work.
I took it to Mori and he did that, plus install a new turbo, fuel pump, turbo inlet, and odd and ends for about that same price. The turbo inlet was a beast to install. All the Subaru forums have long stories about how long it takes for the Perrin inlet to be installed. Mori did it within the price quote he gave me.
My only regret is not having known about Uehara Motowerks sooner. When i look back at all the expensive recent repairs, I can only wonder how much i would have saved.
It is nice to see someone that actually enjoys what they do. Sometimes you go to chain stores and they don’t seem to care. Mori puts in the extra hours to do the job right which is rare these days.

Right in line with the rest of the reviews. This guy is super friendly and helpful. Got my aftermarket exhaust fixed (was loose and running). If it stays the way it should, I’ll be beck with more parts to have him put on.

Uehara MotoWerks, without a doubt the best shop I have ever been to. Highest quality in work, and very reasonable pricing. Definitely coming back for mods. (which this shop also comes highly recommended for). Thanks Mori you also provided an awesome customer experience.

So I never write reviews. Uehara Motowerks and how special the owner Mori is forces me to .
If I didn’t write one it would be plain wrong. I don’t want that on my conscience.
Now, for those of you know about keeping good things a secret, I hate to let this out, people already know how great this place is and I’m beginning to regret shooting myself in the foot by doing this.
I may have to wait longer now to get my car in because he’s going to add a lot more clients.
There are a lot of little things about my experience what were impressive, and i could write a lot more, but I’m trying to be short. I’m the pickiest brutally– honest, ready to throwdown type of customer. I’m such a douche because I’m not perfect but I expect perfection from people work on my stuff (total jackass).
Below are three things that really made me feel like I was lucky to find an honest and talented professional like Mori.
1. I won’t go into makes and models. But I wasn’t sure I could find a shop who I knew my car in and out. After a few days of looking, I decided to go with the best I could find. By chance, Mori’s name was mentioned online by someone and that he worked on cars, and I thought he’ll probably be a bit more knowledgeable or at least I could talk to him. When I first met him, he said whats going on, and I told him my problem. Then I said, «I guess i could do this or that…»
I know enough about cars to know the problem and the fix. Am I good enough to do it?, no way, and do I skills or tools and parts?, nope. So when I told 3 things i think would work, I expected him to go with one solution and agree with me, give me a breakdown of the parts, and explain what he had to do and costs, and time if would take.
Instead, He say «Nah… I’d just probably do this and see what happens, and you should be okay.» So I didn’t want to talk shop with him or doubt him, because he was clearly way more knowledgeable than anyone I met, but I addressed concerns and he answered them in ways I didn’t expect. Like how the age and condition of the part could affect different things. I mean most people tell you this is how you fix this, and they will fix it, and it will more times than not get fixed, but «Nah…» Thats someone who knows a lot and is really telling you the honest truth from his years of experience trying to save you some bucks while doing the best possible job out there.
2. Sorry, getting long, hate long reviews.
Second thing was I asked some guys at the auto parts store about a small part I needed, they looked and said they couldn’t find any store or the computer system and that they don’t make that part anymore. I asked for something similar to modify and they said it wasn’t gonna work, and that my best bet would not be to look online even, but junkyards. Thats what I expected, so I wasn’t devastated, I couldn’t just give up. I really didn’t wanna start going to junk yards.
I went back in and searched every isle of the store and found something similar. I thought hard and I did my best to modify it and thought i fixed it… at least to where it didn’t drive me nuts. I mentioned this to Mori, he fixed it perfectly with the perfect part at a fraction of the cost. He told me the part was easy to find (I’m not sure if he did something special, I’m still suspicious, but the invoice shows almost nothing for the part)
3. I can change my own oil or use a drive through station close by, But just for even something relatively simple like an oil change I will drive 30 minutes there and 30 minutes back to get it done at his shop. There Isn’t a doubt in my mind, for even any minor to major work, I would probably drive a day and back if not more. Just had a little accident today, broke the plastic on the taillight. Called the shop, Mori remembered exactly who I was and told me that he can fix it. I panicked and the minute it happened, I started looking online for parts, I would have wasted a lot of time and money. He saved me again.
So the secret is out, I hope I can get an appointment when I need to.
But all jokes aside, In all fairness to him and his establishment, no matter how busy
it gets Mori is the kind of guy who takes care of all his customers with the same gold standard and beyond. He had my car ready sooner than promised. I was not going to make it in time from work, he offered to wait for me which I appreciated, but it was two to three hours later, but said he is staying late to work on some cars anyway.
I went the next day before closing and talked to him briefly cause he was not done for the day. The shop was still going. I love what I do, but I’m not stay extra hours unless its an emergency.
And then I realized I found a place I can trust that would work on every car like it was their own.

Uehara Motorwerks is an awesome place to take your car for awesome mods.
Upon Showing up I met Mori was going to be working on my car. He installed an Aftermarket BOV and Shifter bushing on my 2015 WRX. Awesome customer service and he made sure I was happy with his work before I left his property. I definitely will be coming back here.

I was looking & calling shops all day to install my aftermarket suspension. The dealer and other shops were quoting up to $ 1000 for a simple install that would take and hour or so. Mori earned my trust & business for life! He was professional & knew what he was talking about, he even cracks jokes and does his job right! Mori took the time to install my Tein suspension right, adjusted the ride height, test drove it & then fine tuned it at the end again before I took it home. Not only that but he beat everybody’s quote and saved me a lot of $. Plain and simple just go here no matter if you have a Honda, Subaru, Mazda, a simple oil change or a major issue just go here!

Mori and his team do some outstanding work. He’s honest with his pricing and he shows you what is wrong with your vehicle. Even during routine jobs like oil changes, you can watch his team work on your car. I was referred to his team by a friend and have been thankful to find a mechanic shop that is honest and do what they say!

Mori is a true car enthusiast you can tell by the quality of cars that he works on that he knows what he’s doing. Always fair prices and a very helpful guy. Also a eneos supplier as a bonus.

Uehara Motorwerkz is a great automotive shop that knows Imports. Specializing in Asian autos but works on many Costom Cars, including American Muscle! Subaru’s all day my friends… All day!

I first went to Mori because my usual mechanic doesnt weld and I needed a sway bar welded to my sub frame. He charged me a very fair price and did good work, I just finished taking my brothers car in because it was leaking oil and he had it done in about an hour that includes time to find the part. His prices are great in my opinion and if its upgrades id deff trust him.

Mori hooked me up with some Eneos oil, OEM oil filer, and a oil change! I Explained to him I worked nights, and he offered to do my oil change :) (he had a car on the rack) thanx buddy! Will definitely go there again. Thanx Mori!

Got him to fabricate a rally style custom cat-​back exhaust for my NA Subaru Impreza and install a thicker rear sway bar.
Had it everything for about 6 months and it has definitely made driving the Subie more enjoyable. Not a single problem!
Hondas, Subarus, Toyotas, anything remotely JDM; Mori is the man to go see.
EVEN– non-​import cars/​trucks Mori can fix, fabricate, tune, rebuild anything for a solid price and in stellar turn-​around time!
Support your local mechanics! Go to Mori’s shop for any automotive work you need done, you won’t regret it!

I used to take my Civic to Honda for everything that needed to be done. I am so glad that Mori is my go to guy since then, my family also brings their cars to have him fix them. He is honest and his work is perfect. His prices are much more realistic than the dealership. You will save more money by going to Mori at this shop. You will have it fixed in a timely manner too. Even for major work. Thumbs up to this shop and to Mori.

Mori did a great job welding a bung on my down pipe for my wideband o2 sensor. He was very knowledgeable and had great customer service.

Mori helped save me $$ by fabricating a new clip for my back power window. If I bought a new part it would have cost a couple Benjamin’s. He rewired the old piece. I also asked him questions about what would be the best suv to buy next. Usually car guys don’t like to answer questions but he was very helpful. They even washed my car for me! Will be back for more car service & advice. Thank you so much!

I have gone to Mori twice for car repairs and each time I have left feeling more than satisfied. My first visit with him was to replace my starter. He fixed the starter along with my radio connection, which had been broken for years. He apparently fixed some disconnected wiring.
The second visit was to replace some tires and to also replace 2 wheel bearings. Let me just say that I have had my car for 9 years and it drives better than it ever has. When I bought this car, the car would kind of shake when going over 65 mph. I had new tires put on, an alignment, etc… and none of that stopped it. He was able to pin point the problem, which was a bent piece that attaches to the wheel bearing-​wish I could remember the name of it. He replaced this part and it completely fixed the issue. Since then, I have driven my car up to 80 mph-​shake free!
He is great at what he does, reasonable with parts and labor, and honest. As a woman, I have never really felt I could trust a mechanic. But for the first time, I DO. I would recommend him to anyone!

Mori’s a trustworthy guy when it comes to your car, I come here now for oil change and everything else my car needs. Never had a problem with his work, good guy who’s definitely there to help.

Mori the owner here is a rock star and got my car running when no one else could. He does the impossible — at a good price and in quick time too. I’ve been doing business with him for over four years now. 100% recommend.

I still get all my auto work done here for both my car and truck. Nothing has broken down lately but I did get a used car since my last review and had its oil and trans fluid changed to ENEOS and inspected by Mori the owner. On this last visit I had some new suspension pieces, ignition and other parts that I had to take care of on a 19 year old MR2 MKII. If you own a Toyota MR2 he is the man for you, he knows this car inside and out and is a active member of the Vegas MR2 scene.
