History

Established in 2009.

United Van Rentals is a family-owned business that remains active in the community. When we opened our doors, many outsiders said it could not be done; they thought there was no way a new local and independent company could stand toe-to-toe with the existing van rental companies and big name auto rental companies. Well, we proved the skeptics wrong, and not only are we still going strong, we are exceeding expectations.

Our goal is to provide reliable and affordable transportation for small or large groups while striving to achieve 100% customer satisfaction.

Our fleet consists of late-model Dodge Grand Caravan minivans, Toyota Sienna minivans, Ford E350 and Chevy Express 12 passenger and 15 passenger vans, all vigorously maintained to provide the utmost comfort and safety.

In addition to our Las Vegas office, United Van Rentals services all major airports in California.

We’ve used United Van Rentals for three years now for a group going to Death Valley. Tony has always been really helpful and had everything we needed. The vans are always in really great shape and ready when we arrive. The process is seamless, the location is easy to walk to from the strip, and the service is excellent. My family and I rented a 12 seater van. The staff was courteous, friendly and got us checked out quickly. The van was in good condition and clean. It was extremely hot days we had the rental and the AC stayed cold the whole time… my kids were grateful. Overall a very good renting experience.

I had a trade show to attend with other company associates at the convention center in Las Vegas recently. I had reserved a 15 passenger van one month prior with a company established at Las Vegas McCarran Airport. When I arrived to town with my co-workers, the the rental agency did not have any vans available. They were apologetic and THAT’S IT!!!
I contacted United Van Rentals and luckily they had a van available. I told them my situation, they were sympathetic and offered me options to my situation. They recommended the 15 passenger van and they would remove the last row of seats to accommodate our luggage and trade show gear. The van now seated 11 passengers and was more than enough for my group of nine. It was ideal.
The van rental cost for the week was less than my original reservation with another company and you can not put a price on their superb customer service.
We will be back in the fall and highly recommend their services!!!

I coach girls softball teams and fly into Las Vegas twice a year for tournaments. This is the first time using United Van Rentals. Tony In the office was extremely friendly and helpful! The vans were new and clean. Pricing was below my budget and I was able to return the vans late on Sunday. We will definitely be using United Van Rentals again!

Called United Van Rentals when I arrived at the Las Vegas airport. I spoke with Tony who verified my reservation and said to call back when I got outside to a pick up area. I called back within 10 minutes and Tony came to pick me up.
That was all fine. The exterior of the van was in good condition, the interior however was about as clean as a Cheap Motel room. It had tissue and papers stuck in the seats and not the cleanest smelling. They should of at least taken it through a full service car wash before renting it to me. Anyway it got us to our destinations OK.
Tony is not the friendliest guy around he drilled me about not having my insurance card on me and whined about having to wait ten minutes till my insurance company faxed it to me. He is a jerk putting it nicely. Oh and then guess what, he was not available to shuttle me back to the airport after dropping off the van in the motel parking lot and putting the key in the drop box. No return phone call even. I spoke with a lady at the front desk she said she wasn’t surprised and this happens quite regularly. The motel made sure to tell me they were not affiliated with United Van Rentals and called me a cab and I made it to the airport which cost me another $ 20 bucks. Thanks for nothing united van rentals.
DO NOT USE THESE GUYS at least at the Vegas location!

The worst!
We rented a van for a couple of days. Their office is located inside an Hotel like around the corner in the first floor so they leave their cars in the hotel’s parking lot. This guy inspected it before we took it and gave us the keys. When we returned it they had no one at the office (even on a weekday around noon). So I called the main office in Irvine and told me to leave the car in the parking lot and leave the keys in a box they have at the lobby. We did. Major mistake was not taking pics or videos of the car when we left it.
A MONTH later they «email» me an estimate for repairs needed to be done on this van. I called the same day half an hour later and they tell me the person who emailed me is not available anymore. I called every day for several days and nothing; the general manager (who I was supposed I had to speak with still unavailable). They said I can try again, mmm no; I told them instead they will hear from my lawyer.
I got a call in less than an hour from this guy who told me we were held responsible until they took possession of the car. So even when it was IN their property it was still our responsibility. What was I supposed to do? Sleep inside the freaking car until the next day? Or pay an extra day until I find someone who could take it? He said it was on the contract. Major BS!
He also said they give their customers the chance to talk to their insurances. Really? You want me to pay more for my insurance just because you want your car fixed? When it wasn’t even our fault?
Never heard from them again.
