Jack is always great! He knows what he’s doing and he gets it done wonderfully. It’s funny that no one I know calls this place«University Connection» instead people just say, «Jack’s» haha. So if you’re new, don’t be afraid to call him by name! Sarah, his daughter is one of my sorority sisters and whenever I wore my letters he would talk about our sorority and ask if I remembered her(since she’s an older sister). He’s super nice and welcoming with a hint of sarcasm, love it! It’s super convenient that this store is right across the street from campus too. Whenever it’s busy season like the end of the semesters or during initiation season, make sure to order early to avoid rush fees! He typically just takes a few days, depending on how busy it gets. It’s super awesome that he shoots you out a text whenever your order is ready for pick up. :)

Jack’s quality of shirt are AMAZING. His business ethics? Not so great. His items are pricey, which is fine since his work is AMAZING; however, Jack has favoritism and gives you attitude when asking about prices. You can’t deny he has favoritism, because you’ll hear it from other members part of Greek Life. I don’t really know how you an get him to like you, maybe kiss his ass, flirt, or whatever. I know my chapter got a HUGE discount after stating, «I like *so-and-so, they’re in your chapter, so I’ll make the price work for ya.» He is quite engaging with his customers which gives him the image of him conducting good business. Jack asks about the fraternity/sorority you’re in, helps you out with the shirts, etc. I just completely lost respect for him when I was asking pricing: how much it will be if I had to bring my own fabric for the letters. I was budgeting because his shirts are pricey. Then Jack replies a snarky comment, «i think it would be a lot.» That’s not great business since I did want Jack to make the shirts. This isn’t the first time he’s given an attitude towards a potential customer. I know another Greek individual whom was also asking for prices to buy his little, and Jack responds with, «Are you going to buy or keep asking for prices?» After than, my friend didn’t want to go to Jack anymore and REFUSED to buy his shirts. I’m sure if either of us were his«favorite,» we’d get discounts without the attitude. Love his quality of work and engagement when it comes to customers he knows that are going to buy, it’s just gross he would impose favoritism discounts and give attitudes to those who are trying to budget so they can buy letters from him store. Quality of work = Great Quality of business = Pathetic

It’s no secret to Greek Life in Las Vegas what University Connection is. Actually, we know it better as «Jack’s» because we all know that an excellent businessman named Jack owns the place. He’s really personable and funny; he also knows his customers by name! And his customers definitely love him! It is a place that specializes in Greek merchandise & custom Greek letter shirts! It is the only place in Las Vegas that I know of that officially sells a ton of Greek letter products. He can take care of basically anything customizable on a shirt that you want! Even if you want to make your own shirt with your own fabrics! He does have his own website so others can order merchandise and get it shipped to them if they don’t live in LV! The only thing is that buying can get a bit expensive. But anyone who is Greek, knows: LETTERSAREWORTHIT! Even other letters that I have bought online don’t compare to Jack’s! Clearly, when you’re Greek, this is the place to be!

I just love the owner if this place. Super honest, sincere, and he really values his customers. I ordered shirts for a club at school, and he hooked us up big time! If you want school shirts. Greek ware, or anything else printed, this place is the best place in town. Honesty and reliability! My French club is so happy! Shalom my brother!

If you’re in a fraternity or sorority at UNLV, this is the best place to purchase Greek letter swag to show off your pride. University Connection is located right across UNLV off of Maryland Parkway and it is easy to get to by walking. It can get a little pricey, especially if you are purchasing multiple shirts with fancier colors/styles for your letters, but it is all worth it. A tip for women purchasing shirts — the shirts run big so if you’re normally a medium, go for small. If you’re purchasing a V-neck shirt as well, the smaller letters fit better on women than the regular sized ones do. Both of these are explained when you go in to order shirts, but it’s a good reminder. It doesn’t take long for an order to come in, usually a few days or less, and the owner will text you to let you know when to come in.
