These people are in the business of selling you expensive dental care, and then selling you a plan to pay for it at a high interest rate.
Also Dr. Atwood is rude, hurts you in the way he haphazardly examines your mouth, doesn’t introduce himself, does his business, and then runs out of the room.
Who the hell can afford 6 thousand dollars for dental work? I medically need this care, and you deny me the financing. Why the hell did I come down here if I wasn’t approved. I guess dental care.
Please do yourself a favor and steer clear of this horrible dentist.

Tried to see these guys for our regular dental care after having such a good experience on our first visit but sadly we were disappointed. They were always running late & I had to return multiple times to have the same issue rectified. The female dentist was really great but we generally saw the male dentist who is the owner.

Had some issues last time I was there. Had an appointment for a check up and to get a cavity filled. Had my checkup, then they numbed me, and did not return for 38 minutes. By that time the numbing shot had worn off yet the doctor didn’t believe me. I told him I could feel everything he was doing and I was in full out tears. He just kept telling me to hang on and it’s almost done. Horrible experience. :(

While All the others (Dentists) are at home relaxing, Golfing they are open to help.
Worked Great for my wife which works for me!
Nobody is perfect but Karen is Good and Dr. Atwood is very knowledgable. All services seem available. Lotsa parking and clean offices.
Wife wants to return for more!

The staff here is super friendly! If you have dentist fears, this place will make you feel comfortable. They have affordable plans and and options for cash pay patients. Kathleen is amazing! I would definitely recommend coming here.

I had to have some work done but I have terrible nerves with dentists. They were patient and helpful, from the front desk to then hygentist and dentist. She was right, it didn’t hurt and I got to avoid the shots to numb your mouth. It was awesome and I highly recommend them if your a chicken like me.

Do not take kids here! I was a happy patient until my daughter went in, spent 2 hours under nitrous, started to cry after the 2 hours, but dentist had disappeared so I decided to take her home. Got an «apology» call after I stormed out but sincerity would have been nice. Never again. We found a wonderful, kind, child friendly pediatric dentist and we should have gone the pediatric route in the first place.

My experience with Urgent Dental was a nightmare! The Hygienist was shoving a hard plastic x-​ray in my mouth and I was gagging. I continued to tell her I could not open my mouth any wider and bite down. She got upset and starting shoving it into my mouth. I ended up with cuts inside my mouth. I was in tears when the Dentist walked in the room. He pretty much laughed it off and there were no apologies made.

I have been a patient at Urgent Dental for 2 years. My husband and I each had four wisdom teeth pulled made our appointments every 6 months for a cleaning. After four thousand dollars in dental work I walk in for our appointment that i confirmed 2 weeks in advance and I have no appointment. They can help my husband and made no effort to help me at all. They don’t value their customers they don’t value your time and they make no concessions to help I have fired Urgent Dental is my dentist although Dr. Atwood is great his support staff is killing his business I am moving on to another dentist.

I will be as short and sweet as possible: They SUCK !!! This is the worst dentist ever !!! Made an appointment last week for today and made the receptionist repeat everything to be sure. Well guess what couldn’t find my appointment anywhere. That should have told me right there but wanted to give them a chance. After waiting one hour and see two other people being treated and leave I started asking how long it would take for me to be seen. Well the receptionist once again had no clue of what I was talking about !!! Made me waste my time filling all the paperwork for nothing then wait for nothing !!! I told them to take my file and shove it where the sun never shines and left !!! Not even an apology or an explanation !!! Do not go there they have no clue what they are doing !!! Only giving one star because you cannot leave a minus 5 star rating !!!

This place is very misleading I spent 2 hours there… explained I could either get my tooth pulled or have a root canal. I chose root canal and paid almost $ 500… I was informed I needed to come back and get a permanent filling n crown n got quoted about $ 1200 for the next visit. I called my normal dentist n they were going to do the procedure for $ 800 but when my dentist called urgent care they informed them that I didn’t have a root canal… they just drained the tooth when the whole time they explained to me that a root canal is being done. The dental assistant even said… «I bet when u woke up today u weren’t planning on getting a ROOT CANAL». I would not recommend this place. Now I need to spend more $ then I need to.

I called to get a quote for my dental procedures that I need to be done since I already went to my regular dentist here in California and I know what I need to be done and I just want to compare the prices of my out of pocket cost. She replied and told me to call my insurance and they’ll be able to help me. Meanwhile I informed her that I actually called other dental office around that area and ask the same thing and they’re able to give me an estimate cost. And her answer to that is «that’s fine and you have a good day». No effort of any kind of customer service. I guess they don’t need more patients.

I’m gonna start off with how much I do not like going to the dentist! OK not liking it is putting it very nicely. But I actually had a good experience today at Urgent dental! Miss Kathy up front was pleasant when I called and great when I arrived. I didn’t have to wait long and the whole visit went by fairly quickly. Nadia the dental assistant was efficient and very friendly Which helped calm my anxiety, then Dr. Atwood came in was professional and before I knew it I was on my way home. A huge sincere Thank you to the whole Urgent dental team!!! I’m a Vegas concierge I know a good company when I have a great experience. Whether you’re visiting or a local, this is a great dentist with a great team!

Everyone was really nice. However, I went in due to being in the MOST pain I have ever been in while on vacation and was told I simply had pain from grinding my teeth. Come to find out I actually had nerve damage due to a filling sitting on my nerve for a period of time which caused a severe infection. When I got back home my pain had almost doubled and the infection had worsened due to it not being taken care of for two days. Needless to say I had to have an emergency route canal, then had to wait for my severe infection to drain and now waiting over a month to have it finally finished all because it was assumed I was grinding my teeth. If you are in real pain like I was I advise you choose someone who does not assume so much.

Can’t say enough great things about the dentists at Urgent Dental. I’ve been going to see Dr. Atwood ever since we came to his office at 2am one morning a couple of years ago to treat me for a bad toothache. A couple of years later and my teeth are fixed and whiter than ever.
FRIENDLIEST STAFF IN TOWN! The staff is accessible, accommodating, professional and friendly. I go out of my way and half way across town to see this doctor.
I’ve recommended friends and family to Urgent Dental and will continue to do so. Thank you guys for all you’ve done!

I wish I could say this was a great place, but unfortunately it just sucked. The staff was nice but the dentist was not nice nor professional. He gave me Novocain in my cheek! In a two hour appointment he only spent an hour with me, making me wait while my mouth was in pain, and prepped to have my cavities filled. He didn’t feel like finishing the job (AS WAS SCHEDULED) and ended up scheduling me for a week later even though they knew I had prior arrangements to be out of town for school and needed my dental work done before I left. I think that says it all.
I would not recommend this dentist to anyone
