Dr Rohr and staff were very knowledgeable and had an amazing bedside manner with me and my 5 month old pup. Made me feel as at ease as I could be given the circumstances. Highly recommended.

I selected this vet office because they offered free exam for two pets and it is near where I live.
I arrived at my scheduled appointment and was placed in an exam room pretty quickly. After a 15 minute wait a very pleasant staff member stuck her head in explained and apologized for the wait. She said it would be a little while longer. I asked how long and guess 15 minutes and she said probably.
I waited another 15 minutes (30 minutes total) and the vet came in (I don’t remember her name). I was surprised that she didn’t even mention the long wait. I expected her to politely apologize. It was off-​putting but the cats’ exams were so thorough that I let it slide.
After the exam, I was in a hurry to get to my next appointment. One of my cats needed oral surgery for severe tooth decay. I asked the vet to email me the estimate for the surgery. The vet followed up and I received the quote within a few hours.
I was shocked and saddened that the quote was so high b/​c I’m not working right now and I wasn’t sure if I could afford it. I was considering putting my cat to sleep but it was breaking my heart.
I called the office twice and each time I was put on hold for long times. This gave me time to think and I decided to find another vet to do some price comparisons. I found a new vet that had excellent Unilocal reviews and I learned that their pricing was much more competitive.
It was with heavy heart that I let NCA Nellis Vet Hospital know that I wouldn’t be having my cat’s surgery with them. I also cancelled my dogs’ appointments too. I was regretful in canceling the appointments b/​c I appreciated the free cats’ exams and the doctor was very good. Ultimately, I need a great vet at affordable prices and this clinic could offer the best pricing.

I recently started taking my dogs here and I LOVE Dr. Lindaman! I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and caring vet. He takes the time to answer all of my questions and you can tell that he loves what he does and really cares about animals. I had my dog spayed there 2 weeks ago and the whole process was really smooth.
Overall this is a great clinic!

When I had to put my dog down, Dr. Lindaman sat on the floor and cried with me. He sees so many patients every day and for him to take the time to comfort me during this very difficult time meant everything to my family and I. I would recommend him 1000 times over. He’s so knowledgeable, he really cares, and doesn’t let you leave with any unanswered questions. What else can you ask for in a vet?

This place is awesome, I was surprised on how nice the staff was! I just adopted a cat from the Animal Shelter, and they stated that I received a free check-​up with in five days of adoption! (it was $ 138!!!) If you checked in through facebook you received a ‘free’ gift. The gift was two pieces of candy (for the humans) and some toys for pet LOL. Hey, I’ll take it as long as it’s free! We did have to wait a VERY LONG time because the only had one doctor there. But, it was worth it… I usually don’t complain on wait times especially for something like this… I will definitely visit the Animal Hospital again.

VCA sucks. Plain and simple. They dont honor the free first time visit coupon. The prices they charge are a bit much. I took my pets to the animal house instead, wher I was taken care of at a reasonable cost, and quickly.

Took my new kitty here for her 1^st check up & it went great. Everyone, from the receptionist to the vet, was very warm & welcoming. They treated my kitty & I with respect & kindness. I saw Dr Webb, who took her time examining Princess Palace Pet & gave me advice on how to care for cats, as I’ve never had one before. While I was there, some people came in with a small dog that had just had surgery at a different clinic. They had questions on it’s recover. Even though they had it’s surgery elsewhere, the staff went out of their way to provide advice & support for the concerned parents. Also, the place seemed clean & has separate entrances/​waiting areas for dogs & cats. I had been driving all the way from Sunrise Manor to a Henderson vet for my doggy, who is 5, but now I plan on transferring Lucky the Wonderdog’s care over here.

The staff is incredibly nice and always wonderful with my animals. They’re a bit slow, despite there never being other people in there.

I have brought my cat Big Boy here for vet visits and nail clipping and brushing for about 3 years. Layne (groomer) and Dr Lindaman are wonderful, and the support staff (esp. Audrey) are just great. Friendly, caring, and always a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend them wholeheartedly, and even Big Boy seems to like them. They really go out of their way to be accommodating.

I am so very upset with my visits here. I adopted a dog from the shelter and he came with a free vet visit, I brought him in and pointed out that he was coughing. The vet said that she thought he was getting over an upper respiratory infection and didn’t need medication, and then gave me an $ 800 dental estimate because he had some plaque on his teeth (he’s 2), and a $ 200 estimate for shots that she said he needed even though they just told me at the shelter he was good for a year. A few weeks go by and he’s still coughing so I make an appointment to come back again, this time she says he has kennel cough, I explained to her that he never quit coughing this whole time! Again with the estimates, this one for 300 for shots the shelter said he didn’t need, and fecal samples, etc. At least they let off the dental this time, maybe because I had a $ 10 gel treatment done that solved the problem. So now it’s time for the bill… they want to charge me $ 50 for the visit, $ 50 for the antibiotics, and $ 30 for an anti inflammatory. They’re charging more than my meds cost without insurance! I explained that he was still sick from the first time I brought him in and I shouldn’t have to pay $ 50 for a vet visit when she failed to diagnose him the first time, they took $ 10 bucks off, that was all they would do. Now it’s a week later and the dog is still coughing. I’ll take him back to my regular vet across town thank you, they’re vets there, not sales people. This is quite the racket they have going. Adopt a $ 25 pet with a «free» vet visit and get quoted for $ 1000 in stuff you don’t need while they fail to diagnose and fix the problems the animal actually does have! Never going back.

I brought my puppy in for a check up on Wednesday and the staff was very friendly. Kim made my puppy feel comfortable and was nice throughout the whole time. Dr. Roehr saw my little one and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. As we were waiting in the lobby unfortunately a family who had to put down they’re pet was very sad and crying and the girl at reception told them she was very sorry. I felt like everyone cared and my puppy and I will definitely go back and see them. Beside the fact that they are less than 10 min away from my house they’re compassion and love for what they do will have us back for check ups. The next day I received a welcome call asking how my puppy was after his visit that was greatly appreciated!

My dog was attacked by a street dog and was injured badly so i brought him to vca animal hospital, the hospitality was great, i felt welcomed and i have to say the staff are very nice. My vet Deanna Ojeda was very observant of my dogs circumstances she made evrything better and offered a very affordable deal to get him treated, ill definitely come here for any pet related issues, definitely recommend this place.
Price shouldn’t be a problem and we all know thats the «big» question

I have unfortunately had to put two dogs down and both times I have brought them here. The reason I came here is simple: Dr. Ojeda. She is thorough in her exams and honestly cares about the well being of your pet. For one of my dogs we tried a few options before making the tough decision to euthanize. She even shed a tear with me the first time I had to say goodbye to our family pet. I appreciate someone who is professional yet shares the emotion that you are feeling. Yes VCA is a chain and the might cost a little more then other places, but the care you get cannot be matched anywhere else in town. Highly recommended!

Dr. Lindaman and the staff at VCA Nellis Animal Hospital have provided the very best possible service for my Missy. Our visits there have always been smooth – quickly in and out – and are always very helpful and informative, no matter what the reason for the visit was.
Everything done – or recommended – for Missy is always fully explained. I feel comfortable asking any question, and their patient responses tell me exactly what I need to know to make sure I am getting Missy the best possible care.
When the time approaches for a necessary visit, I always get a friendly and informative e-​mail (and often even a snail mail card!) letting me know I should schedule an appointment.
Very simply, as long as Missy and I are together, this is the one and only place in Las Vegas where I will take her to be cared for!

Not happy! I was a walk in and was told it would be a 1 hour wait. I told them I would come back, came back 45 mins later and waited in the lobby 20 mins. They finally put me in a room and waited another 20 mins. The vet asst told me it would be another hour before the doctor could see my dog. I couldn’t stay because I had other errands to do and they suggested to make an appt. I told them if I would of known it would of been about a 2 hour wait I would of done that. There is always usually a long wait everytime I go there. I wont be going back.

We have received EXCELLENT care at VCA Nellis. Dr. Roehr is a very caring and profressional Veterinarian. We treat our dogs as if there were our children, giving them the best care possible is paramount. We have found it here at VCA Nellis.

Best possible service! I happily drive my pets across town, and have done so for 7 years, to take them to Dr. Lindaman. The entire staff is fantastic, remembering the names of my pets and previous reasons for visits. They show a genuine interest in the pet and in you.
Visits are always smooth and informative, whether the visit is for annual shot boosters or emergency surgery. Everything that is done for my pet is always thoroughly explained, without making me feel silly for asking questions.
As long as I am in this city, no matter how far the drive, this is the place for my four legged friends to get taken care of.

We love our vet! Taking our cats here is always a great experience. The doctor and the back office staff are lovely to work with and always very good with our kittens, even our «problem child». I would definitely recommend taking your kitties here!

We take both our dog and our cat to this veterinary office as it is right around the corner from our house. We’ve seen Dr. Lindaman and he is fantastic. He caught that our dog had a cracked tooth and always sits on the floor and plays with our short little corgi before he does any examination.
He doesn’t mind seeing the cat and dog at the same time, which is pretty hilarious in my opinion as the cat is roaming the room and the dog is down on the floor playing with him. It’s like a scene out of Doctor Doolittle or something.
As far as pricing go, they are reasonable for a vet. They do try to sell the lab work packages, but they don’t pressure you if you decline (and once in awhile it is a good idea to get those done). The Animal Foundation has a lower cost vaccine clinic, but I really adore the staff at the Nellis VCA.
They always call as a follow up, more often than my doctor.

Recently my husband and I decided to switch veterinary offices. For a few reasons our previous vet was not working out — mostly because of how far away it was from our home and it was a bit on the pricey side.
Luckily this vet is not far from our house at all, which makes for an easy 6 or 7 minute drive. Overall I am very pleased with this vet so far. They have a place to make appointments online (yay!), but the receptionists are very helpful a nice over the phone and in person. The hospital itself is quite large and has a «cat» and «dog» entrance. The space was clean and the room we took our lab in was also clean, although a bit cold (dang, they were pumping the AC while we were there!).
We were given a doctor (can’t remember his name now), but he was very, very good with our pup. He sat down on the floor with him when he examined him. This doctor also specifically called to check up with us a few days after our visit.
Overall I am very pleased and I am giving a 5 star review. I hope it will not go down in future visits.
