Vegas Val’s Tattoos

1^st timer and Val did a great job. She talked me through it all and answered any question I had. Her shop had great artwork and she is a great artist too. Definitely would recommend her and would go back. She is a great person and it shows in her work too!

It was either this shop or another that I had to choose from and I ended up picking this place. Turns out it was a great decision! Walked in, showed Val what I wanted and it was easy as that I’m more than satisfied of the work she did. Only coming back to this shop when I’m back in town.

Val did an awesome job on my tattoo and I am very happy with it. I am a newbie to tattooing and she interpreted my description of what I wanted into the perfect tattoo design. She is an incredible artist. I will definitely go back to her again.

Had a tattoo done by Val. I spent a lot of time searching for the right artist in the Las Vegas area. Val had great reviews but, even so, I was skeptical of all the great reviews wondering if they were friends or family trying to help out. Val is the real deal. She’s a very talented artist but, even more so, a really nice person.
I had surgery as a boy and I have always hated how the surgery scarred my body. Val inked over a long scar and did a beautiful tattoo for me. I am not just happy about it, I am exuberant! I loved the whole experience. I was a bit worried to get a tattoo but I sailed right through it without a break. Val said I had a high pain tolerance, but I think a large part of that was because of how nice Val was and how well she communicated with me through the process. I told her she should be known as «painless Val».
I am a cancer patient who wanted a leukemia ribbon. Val hand drew this beautiful tattoo and placed it over my scar and changed my life by erasing a bad memory and giving me hope for the future. I can’t say enough good about Val and her work. She’s wonderful! Can’t wait to do another one with her.
I did a second tattoo with Val. Just as the first time, it was a very enjoyable experience. To be honest, it was down right fun. Val is such a terrific person and an amazing artist. She is very responsive to communication even though she is very busy. I trust her and know how very careful she is about sterilization and cleanliness. I can’t say enough about what a wonderful choice she is as a tattoo artist. I would give her 5 stars +.
Had a «close encounter of a third kind» with Vegas Val’s Tattoo shop. This time both my wife and I went. Just as before, it was a great experience. Val is such a fun person and an immensely talented artist. I now consider her a personal friend and enjoy both her company and the amazing artistry she performs for us. If you’re looking for a truly positive experience, look no further. Vegas Val is the only person I would let tattoo me.

Val was wonderful — my kids wanted to get tattoos in their sister’s memory — her twin brother and younger sister. I was nervous because my daughter was only 15 and wanted to make sure we knew someone who did great work. I am also a nurse so cleanliness was super important. Val’s work was impressive and everyone has commented on my son’s amazing tattoo.
Very thankful for Val putting up with all of us and doing an amazing job can’t wait to go back and get mine done.

Outstanding, I came into Val’s place, I was a little nervous cause I had just came from a different tattoo shop that I had a bad experience in.
Val was very professional and kind she made me feel welcomed, very light handed.
Very detailed the best part of her professional tattoo is you get every min you pay for. When you are a customer of hers she stays focused on YOU.
I give her five stars cause I will recommend her to anyone.

Val did a portrait of my pug last year and it looks just like her! She’s a great artist and was even patient with me when I was late due to having a hard time finding the place as Siri kept telling me her place was the taco shop haha so if you’re looking for a great artist contact Val!

I have been searching for a new artists and found Val on Unilocal.Made all the arraignments by email and she drew up what I wanted. She was my first female artist and she did some awesome work. I would recommend her to anyone. She was very personable to talk to while she was working.

My husband and I came in here for some sweet Friday the 13^th tattoos. We had noticed the shop a few nights before as we ate a few doors down. We loved our experience. Walking into the shop wasn’t like any other tattoo shop. There was a ton of local art (my personal favorite décor) and upcycled materials. Val was amazing. She is friendly and helpful (especially for indecisive people like myself). She made us feel comfortable and was just a genuinely nice person. We will definitely be back for our bigger pieces.

Val is the only person I’ll go to for tattoos. She does amazing work and is fun to hang out with while having a needle jabbing your skin. I have been tho 3 tatto assisrts and she’s the only one I ever went back to. Also the only one I’ve ever referred friends too. Not only does she do tattoos but she had some amazing artwork, too. I can’t wait to get my harleyquinn tat done! Clean shop, awesome work, wonderful person! Highly recommended.

I was so excited to get a new tattoo and Vegas Val did not disappoint!!! The shop was amazing with many types of artwork on display. Val was very knowledgeable and friendly. Also, she was able to create a beautiful tattoo just as I had imagined it! She didn’t laugh at me for crying like a baby (can’t say the same for my husband who thought it was hilarious) So excited to see what it looks like when it is healed. Val is the most amazing artist, and I mean that. She is an artist first and foremost. She will make sure you are completely happy with the design before you even begin. Her artwork on canvas is amazing as well. I have had her do three tattoos for me, including my very first. She made the experience so much easier. She is quick and precise. I plan to do everything else with her as well as my husband is planning on doing all his with her. I highly recommend Val to anyone who is looking for an amazing tattoo and a great experience doing it.

Val has done five of my tattoos and I wouldn’t have it any other way. A few other artists have worked on me, but I keep going back to Val. She is fun, friendly, talented, and clean. I highly recommend seeking her out for your next tattoo whether you live here in Vegas or are visiting for the weekend. She’s worth it!

My first baby, Quinn, was born about a month ago and I wanted to get a new tattoo in honor of her. I found Val on Unilocal and checked out her website. I liked her art so I emailed her about setting up an appointment and she got back to me immediately. I explained what I wanted and we set an appointment for a week later. She requires a deposit to hold the appointment and draw up your design, which I think is appropriate. She even said it would be cool for me to bring the baby. When the day came, I was super excited. The design that she had created was almost exactly what I had imagined. She was super nice, pretty fast doing the tattoo, and made conversation the whole time. Her fee was really reasonable. I really liked Val and am super happy with my tattoo. I am going to make another appointment to have her touch up my other tattoo and maybe get some more!

I did a lot of research about tattoo shops in Vegas and I am so glad I did. So many people kept talking about a lot of other places, but everywhere else had mixed reviews. I went to visit Vals place and made an appointment for a cover up tat. Val did an amazing job and she is passionate about doing it right! She was very mindful of all the details I wanted and the colors that we used. So happy with my new ink.

Several years ago I got a tattoo of my late childhood dog’s paw print from a random shop here in town that ended up turning out not so great. Recently I decided to get it fixed, and my husband wanted to get his first tattoo as well, so I searched high and low for a good artist. I didn’t want to make the same mistake twice. That’s when I found Val and we booked our appointment for this past Saturday.
Come Saturday, we arrived at 9:40 am. Our appointment was at 10. We sat in our car and waited for her, and unfortunately she was ten minutes late. However, I was appreciative that she texted me and advised me that she was on her way. I decided not to ding her a star on my review for this, because we were in no rush, and appreciated the communication on her end.
When she arrived, we went inside and filled out some paperwork. Though the décor and paintings in her shop aren’t my taste, I can appreciate the time and effort she put into them. I could tell that she was a great artist with a lot of experience not just at tattoos, but at pretty much anything creative, which made me more comfortable with the idea of her putting something permanent on my body. While filling out the paperwork in the front of the shop, she sketched out our designs. I gave her a basic idea of what I wanted (to make the paw print solid and add his collar, name, and dates of life) and she took the idea and ran with it. When she showed me the design she had created for me, I loved it!
I was in the chair about a half hour after arriving. I took note of how hygienic she was, and how she sterilized everything, washed her hands multiple times, wore a face mask, opened new needles, etc. Definitely a necessary quality in a good tattoo artist.
Despite this technically being my second tattoo, I was EXTREMELY nervous, not just about the pain, but also about the tattoo turning out well. Val was very, very patient with me, and offered to take breaks if needed. While in the chair she kept me talking, which helped keep my mind off of the pain. There was hardly any silence the entire time I was in the chair (a total of about 1 hour) and she did an awesome job at keeping me as comfortable as possible. Once I was finished, I looked at my new tattoo in the mirror and began crying. It is absolutely beautiful, and is now a tattoo I can be proud of.
This was my husband’s very first tattoo, so he didn’t know what to expect. Val sanitized everything, got new needles, rewashed her hands, and then it was his turn. He was in the chair approximately an hour as well. He said that his hurt, but not nearly as bad as he had expected. His tattoo turned out great, and he is having fun showing it off to everyone.
At the end of our appointment, Val gave us instructions to follow to care for our new tattoos. She answered all our questions for us, and made sure we left knowing exactly what to do.
It totalled out to $ 255, including tip. We felt this price was very reasonable for the the two and a half hours worth of work, and the quality of the work we received.
We are so happy with our tattoos, and we will be returning to her in the future. Highly recommend to others!

AMAZING ARTIST!
I first heard about Val on groupon and forgot to buy the deal. Kept her in mind for a fix up and was happy I did. She literally was a breath of fresh air compared to all the tattoo artists you will come in contact with in Las Vegas. Not to mention her great hourly price for the work she does. I feel like I went in to get my tattoo fixed up but when I left she gave me a whole new tattoo that I was 100 times more pleased with. Her atmosphere is so personal and intimate. One chair and one artist. We talked about everything and she is absolutely hysterical. I can’t stop raving about her to all of my friends!

I went to see Val again for some more work. I couldn’t be HAPPIER!!! I finally am starting to LOVE my tattoos – all thanks to Val!!! She is so just amazing and captured my personality PERFECTLY and the things I love, and seamlessly made them part of my tattoos. So now they REALLY feel like they reflect ME, which is the best feeling in the world!!!
She is patient, amazing and a wonderful person. She really pours her heart and talents into everything she does and it shows!!!
