Vitality Medical & Wellness Center

Our family has been going to Vitality Medical for years and have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Cristy and her staff. What office do you go to and not wait? My thought to this is, they are taking each individual patient and spending time learning how to better improve their health. My husband was the first to go there. This is a man that works out faithfully, eats healthy, but we are business owners, which makes him work ridiculously long hours. She has helped him so much! He looks better and feels better now then a man in his 20’s. I then decided to go to her and also feel so much better. I lost my mom at an early age because of health issues, plus I had skin cancer, and our family has a long history of health issues. So, I wanted to make sure and stay on top of my health. Finally, my 15 year old son now also goes to her. He was having issues with concentrating, depressed, short tempered, stressed cause of all his AP classes, hip hop, and Student Council. I contacted Dr. Cristy really concerned something was seriously wrong with him. He wasn’t himself. This wasn’t my kid. Her response was she thought it could be just food allergies and vitamin deficiencies. We did blood work and guess what! That’s all it was. I would recommend anyone of my friends or family members to her. We love her and her staff!

Last year I made a commitment not to do another yo-​yo binge where I lose 15 pounds only to gain 20 back. I decided to make Vitality part of that commitment. I figured, worst case, at least I would have some adult supervision holding me accountable for doing what I already knew I should be doing.
So, six months later I am 50 pounds lighter (exceeding my goal by 5 pounds) and I feel my physical conditioning level is about the same as when I was in my prime serving in the military. Could I have done that just by making the same commitment to diet and exercise on my own? Maybe, but that wasn’t my previous experience. Dr. Thomas did a thorough examination of my blood work and found several issues my general practitioner never mentioned. I can only assume the medications and supplements she prescribed worked, based on my results. I have never been able to achieve those kind of results on my own before. In particular, in the past exercise has always a chore, but now I have such energy that I feel that I NEED to exercise.
The staff at Vitality makes a huge difference. Everyone is so pleasant and very enthusiastic about what they do. You can tell they believe in what they do, my «snake oil sales» radar did not go off. I can honestly say I will miss seeing them every week now that I’m back on the right track.
I’d definitely recommend Vitality. My advice would be to go in with the right attitude. If you are willing to commit to some lifestyle changes and make a financial contribution to your good health, then they will help you get the best results from that commitment.

Hey guys a lot of you have heard me talk about Dr. Cristy on the radio and I saw one review say that she treats me better than everyone else because I’m on the radio.
Here is my true testimonial that I can’t fit into a 60 second spot on the radio.
Dr. Cristy is amazing! She is the reason I lost 30 pounds in a month and a half. Now let me tell you I had weeks where I lost 7 pounds and weeks I only lost 1 or even none. That’s not Dr. cristys fault. It’s my own. First off I don’t always talk to Cristy every time I need something, sometimes I just talk to her staff. Second I have health insurance so I have a co pay for tests. The only special treatment I get is having dr cristys personal cell number and that’s so I can ask her radio things and occasionally if I have a question.
Honestly my whole experience has been great. Her nurses and front desk staff are very welcoming and sweet. Dr Cristy is busy yes and she tries to help everyone out and gives them equal time but even I have had times were she did spend a full 10 minutes with me.
Also this whole experience is mostly a you thing! I am at the gym 5 days a week doing 600 calorie work outs, I’m not eating shitty food like I used too. Dr Cristy can’t make fat magically fall off! She is there to help you and guide you through it because even I one day won’t have her and will have to live life without her and I honestly feel with the questions I have asked and the knowledge she has given me I can do it!

Expected more than I recieved. She’s obviously being promoted greatly on the radio but that doesn’t mean she’s giving the same experience to every one of her patients.
I saw her when I started and my last day. She said she was there for guidance and help but never was. When she went over my blood tests, I think I waited for her longer than she spent in the room with me. She took no personal time to get to know me or make a connection and to really encourage me. First week she told me to start recording my meals and by the 4^th week she didnt even ask. She told me I needed more vitamins but didnt even give me new advice or help me down a new path. It was like she was so busy and couldn’t even sit down when she came in the room. She was typing and staring at her laptop more than she even looked at me.
I paid almost every time I walked in and it wasn’t cheap. I feel like I didn’t even get my money’s worth for all that I did. Plus everytime I walked in there someone was complaining because they dont disclose what they are charging you. I’m starting to believe we were being taken advantage of.
Plus I chose to opt out of shots because I didn’t feel they benefited me. She didn’t ask for any follow ups, didn’t ask me to come in or schedule another appointment.
My opinion, do more research and ask your friends and find someone who personally knows the nutrionist dr. If you want to lose weight and you have reached the point of going to a Dr you obviously want HELP. All I felt like was I wasted my time. Her receptionist and her nurse did more for me than she made any kind of impression on me. She has a great staff who obviously take the time to make a relationship with the clientele.
Heather Collins is probably receiving the best service because she’s being promoted on the radio. Good for her, I’m proud of her. Shame on Christy Thomas for not giving THAT effort to the patients she is losing. I’m so disappointed. I NEVER leave negative reviews but I feel like I have to say something and make it known.

People need to understand that good health and weight loss are something each individual much achieve through dicipline and hard work. Vitality offers great tools to achieve success for those willing to put forth the work. Make lifestyle changes and follow Dr Thomas’ guidance and advise. Then Do the work it takes to reverse the years of unhealthy lifestyle choices. It took me 3 yrs but it was well worth it and I couldnt have done it without Vitality.

Don’t waste your money. Vitality Medical Wellness in Vegas is a total scam. I walked out of there after four weeks and lost one pound. I got a DNA test that she spent less than twenty minutes going over. When I complained she said «I can’t read the book for you.» She also said she spent forty minutes with me. Most of that was the other money spent because I was sick. On top of that I stated I don’t eat meat and she kept coming back with meat based diet. For a lot of money I got shots that did nothing, was told to exercise, eat better, and us an online app. I could have done all this on my own and saved a lot of money. They do a lot more talking than listening. I have to repeat that they just dropped a paleo diet in my hands after telling them I don’t eat meat. They love to take your money and lead you on for about four weeks while you wait for this waste of money genetics test. Who tells their patient «I can’t read the book for you.» Terrible bedside manner and ultimately will give you a one size fits all method of treatment. The only reason this office gets business is because they sound like they take a very personal touch on the radio show. Go off the show for one year and see your business plummet. I doubt she gets word of mouth referrals.

Dr. Cristy has an amazing and professional facility. She is very smart and knows what it takes to help someone naturally and without all the crazy meds. Dr. Cristy is very intune with me and my needs. Her staff is very professional and very friendly. Her office is clean and inviting. I always feel like they have my best interest at heart. if you are looking for someone to help you lose weight, feel more energized or just to be in better health, I highly recommend Vitality Medical Center!

My health is better because I have been coming to Vitality Health and Wellness for the last two years. I like that Dr. Christy Thomas is integrative and combines traditional medicine with alternative wellness approaches. For someone wanting to be proactive with their health I would highly recommend scheduling a consultation.

Dr. Christy Thomas is one of the most caring, knowledgeable health care professionals I have ever visited as a patient. She is totally focused on the patient, spent a tremendous amount of focused time explaining why she was making suggested strategies.
Her approach has changed my life. I feel a thousand times better, sleep like I never have before and just feel better about life. Thanks doc!

I waited too, forever. They told me it was because they were implementing a new computer system. I went in for a blood test at 10 am, I waited until 11 am to have the blood drawn after I had been fasting since the previous night.
I was a little surprised when I went into the office for bioidentical hormones because most of the patients were men who were far too muscular. The treatment she gave me, testerone, made me sick. I got acne in my public area. Nothing, absolutely nothing was said to me about the possible side effects or health risks of what she was giving me. I smoke and you are not even supposed to take anything like that when you do. Also, because they use a compounding pharmacy, they are not required to give you any handouts with the medication regarding possible side effects.
The really frustrating part is that she told me that ‘most’ of the tests would be covered by the wellness plan on my insurance. The bill is over $ 2000. After many, many calls to my insurance provider, Vitality and Quest Diagnostics, guess what? Not covered, even though they had all the insurance info prior to doing the tests. They are only interested in making money. Everyone in the office calls her ‘Dr Thomas’ and she only has a phd, she is not a medical doctor.
One more thing, the nurse didn’t change the paper on the medical table prior to my examination, I had to ask her to do it.

Christy saved my life!!! I lost 33 pounds in 3 months and no longer have hot flashes!!! I feel 20 year younger!!!

«You can expect to wait AT LEAST 30 minutes» This is what Dr. Cristy Thomas told me 70 minutes after I had arrived. After 20 minutes of sitting in a room by myself I walked over to the office to find «the Dr» chatting with her staff about a copy machine as I’m waiting for a simple Myers Cocktail injection. After I told her that as I’m sure she would appreciate a heads up if I’m late or need to cancel (as they charge a $ 50 fee for being LATE) I would appreciate the same. I rushed over there to be on time for my appointment. I did not yell or curse, I simply stated I did not appreciate the wait time. When I told her I would take into consideration the 30 minute minimum wait time for possible future appointments she then told me she did not feel comfortable giving me the shot. I said ok give me my $ 70 back and I’ll be on my way.

I have been going to this office since it opened. Its very clean and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. From the very first consultation dr. Cristy Thomas was very thorough and helped me figure out exactly what I needed to get myself on track with my weight loss program. It was a life style change and I have kept the weight off. With such success I even went further and allowed the dr. To fill my lips and give me Botox for an overall make over. Anyways with all that being said results were fantastic. I highly recommend this office.
