Vons after being acquired by Albertson’s has gone downhill. It Used to be one of the elite grocery stores with high-quality products. Now it seems like they’re going lax on everything. I’ve been shopping here for 12 years, and will now seriously start going to glaziers across the street. The photos attached were items bought four days ago… hamburger meat turned brown never taken out of the package, roses dying when they’re advertised to last 10 days, mixed flowers all starting to die. These are expensive items as well The old Vons would’ve said well take care of you, the new von says«bring in all the items and well consider it », it’s such a hassle to bring in dead flowers and all these other items it’s ridiculous. Post script … Talked to the store manager … No apologies … Feigned unbelief and obvious don’t bother me … To topmost off, went to Vons had asked for 35 on pump 4 Rang me up for 5. At least the gas guy apologized … What is it with VONS?

Not the best place to go for Food, especially if you have Food allergies! There Amy’s Gluten Free burritos are $ 3,99 a piece, compared to Walmart at $ 2.49 a piece. There staff seems to want to horseplay when there being paid to bag grocery’s! The reason I give them 3 stars is because of there convenient location to me, but unfortunately they have convenient store prices!

Horrible store the cashiers are rude they treat you like you are bothering them they rarely greet you and when they do they don’t even smile besides the prices are higher then other stores the worse store ever They don’t know what good customer service mean Shame on the upper higher management for allowing that to continue. Don’t shop here there are other store that want your business and they treat you kindly

this store sucks! I like to shop early in the morning, and the last time I went there the liquor department was locked, and I asked for help, no one came. today the same thing happened again, I asked for help and the lady said she would call someone and left. no one showed up. the produce is never fresh also. I wont go to this store again because as I was leaving today because no one would help me, I stepped in some disgusting you don’t want to know what it was in the parking lot. THUMBSDOWN!

Terrible service at the bakery… About to complain to store manager and no one showed up… And i’ve been waiting here for 40minutes despite 3 overhead page and a phonecall… Should have put 0 but there’s no option for zero… It’s march 29 at 6:20pm To my dismay, the store manager already left for the day and no one even came to tell me… And the supervisor just said plain sorry…

We always come here for groceries. It’s down the street from our house. Usually have a good selection of produce. People are always friendly. Only downfall are the check out lines sometimes are so long. Usually at night

This is where I normally do my grocery shopping. For the most part the place is always clean and prices are always good. Only thing from time to time that I encounter is staff being short handed and having to wait in line for a bit. Used to go to glaciers across the street but a lot of times they would be sold out of something I’m looking for.

Horrible store ever they don’t know what good customer service means because every time I have shop there the cashiers are rude some of them don’t even say Hi to you they act like you are bothering them some of them completly ignore you. They don’t make you feel welcome And everything is more expensive then other stores so I shop somewhere else where they want my business and where they treat you with respect. I had great experiences every where else except at Vons

I love going here since its always close to home and there’s barely any people when i go at night. But the one flaw is that when i want to check out. There’s always a line somehow because they dont have the right personel running the cahiers. Or just one cash register i mean. So yeah. That’s what’s the 3 stars are for. Other than that and their rediculous raised prices. LoL. 1 thing they have though over other places is the best bakeries for a supermarket. And that’s why i still deal with their long lines. But damn. Have 2 open at least.

I am pretty much a daily customer at vons store and gas. I enjoy my experience 95% of the time, except when I come in contact with the assistant manager Tanesha. I constantly try avoiding anything to do with her. Literally every employee that works there is very helpful and polite except her. She is very rude and not at all customer service oriented. I feel like as customers we are inconvenient to her. Tonight really took it’s toll when in the self help lane I went up to her to get monopoly tickets, I patiently waited for her to finish a personal conversation she was having with another employee. Which I had no problem waiting for, until she acted as if I should have greeted her and failed to make any eye contact what so ever with me. This was on 2÷20÷16 around 6:30 pm. She just comes off as rude, never smiling except when speeking with a select few co workers, never greets anyone or has enough customer service skills to say hello when passing anyone. Im not sure how she became the Assistant Manager but I can tell you the qualification of having good customer service must have not been a requirement or she has forgotten why she has the position in the first place. I want to continue shopping at this store as it is right next to my home, but have no problem going else where if I am uncomfortable just trying to purchase my items or collect monopoly tickets. Now don’t get me wrong this 1 star is because of her and her attitude towards customers. Not the store itself. All the other employees are great and we enjoy our experience when we go there and she isn’t around.

10+ minutes to make a sandwich. Had to go re-stock bread, Sonya G. couldn’t find ingredients [without me], and just NOT where I’m gonna shop when I’m hungry and in a hurry. Subway next time.

They make the prices other items very expensive and then act like the Vons club member discount is cheaper but its really not. If I wanted to paint these prices I would take my happy ass to Glazer’s across the street or to Whole Foods. Yes Vons is closer to my house literally 2 minutes away but it’s not worth the cost I rather go to Albertsons Smiths or Walmart to save the money. But I do like that they have self check out machines.

For some reason, and I have no idea why, this store seems to be so much more pricy than other grocery stores in town that I’ve been too. The sad part about that is groceries in Vegas are already more expensive than everywhere else I’ve lived. I expect a little more for my money, I guess. The store is clean, but nothing fancy. There’s a Starbucks, but then, there is one in several other grocery stores around that don’t cost as much. The store is mostly organized, but I still have trouble finding things. The dairy section is located in the middle of the store instead of toward the back. There’s a nice older guy who always asks if he can help, so that sort of makes up for areas that seem misplaced. Cashiers are usually nice in my experience. I mostly come here when I need to pick up something quick because it’s close to my house, otherwise I stock up at other places. Nothing too bad I can say. It’s a decent grocery store. It’s not better or worse than you’re used to. Just be prepared to pay more.

Why is it that I dread going into this Von’s sometimes? The only time I like going here is at midnight or at the crack of dawn like around 4am-9am. Other than that, I feel like this location is always busy especially during rush hours. At times, the self checkout will be such a long line I get so impatient! I like this Von’s mainly for their organic vegetables, because they have much more than most grocery stores I have been to around the Las Vegas area,(of course, other than Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s). Lately, they haven’t had organic Roma Tomatoes, which is disappointing because that’s pretty much the only tomato I eat. They used to have it on a regular basis, hopefully it will be back soon! I come here mostly for the produce I usually purchase; organic russet potatoes, red onions, yellow onions, garlic, green onion, cabbage, lettuce, bell peppers, strawberries, blueberries, etc. you name it! They have the fruits and vegetables in organic almost always! They have a pretty good selection of organic foods which is awesome! Some of the organic items are; organic milk, butter, cheese, spices, cake mixes, cranberry juice, lemonade, and popcorn. I usually get my turkey here too, good quality and reasonable price. I mainly go to this grocery store because of the vegetables selection and other necessities. I am glad they offer a club membership and gas rewards points that work at Chevron and Von’s Gas station! The staff are always friendly and helpful to me. They have a nice selection of plants, flowers, and balloons. I love Pavilions no matter how busy it gets at times!

Von’s is OK. Standard American supermarket experience. Nothing to be upset about, not much to feel really great about. Their produce is a little pricey and lately the peaches haven’t been ripe. They’d probably be a 2-star operation in California, competing with a bounty of local food, but in Vegas they get 3.

Looking for a little variety in my Sunday grocery shopping, I ended up at Vons. The store has a nice vibe and is clean and organized. They have a nice selection and was impressed by their bakery section that had a good selection. Prices were a little higher and I walked out not spending a little more than my typical stomping grounds. Be sure to sign up for their rewards card, she didn’t even offer to sign me up, just asked the lady behind me if she wanted to earn my points.

Store is conveniently open 24 hours, clean, decent variety of Bob’s Red Mill and Gluten free items. From time to time they give out nice deals. Other times I don’t mind spending the pricey amount they ask on some items. Some of their Annie’s home grown products are priced high. If you get the App, they have some the best deals & coupons. Plus it has a gas station.

Does anyone in Vegas comparison shop? If so, how on earth is this place still in business? I shop at three stores: Whole foods, Trader Joe’s and Smith’s. That’s it. When I lived in CA, I would shop at Safeway(Vons) for only things I couldn’t get at the other two places. With Smith’s all over the valley, there is absolutely no reason to shop here. For example, a container of Athenos hummus is 2 for $ 5 at Smith’s. At Vons, the same size container of Athenos hummus is $ 3.99. Burt’s Bees lipstick that I get on clearance for $ 1.48 at Smith’s is on clearance here for $ 3.50. Meat, canned goods, produce, all of it is exorbitantly higher than Smith’s. Look at the picture I posted — $ 19.99 for a jar of ground cardamom?! I could buy a truckload of ground cardamom at any of the ethnic markets in town for $ 20 and it would probably last me until Jesus comes back. Yeah, I’m familiar with the layout of Vons because it’s basically just a Safeway, but if you’re not looking to flush your money down the toilet, save a handful of bucks and shop elsewhere.
