YCS Transportation

A friend came to visit me tonight and was charged $ 42 taxi fare and $ 8 tip by the driver from airport to my house. I took a taxi once from my house to the airport and was charged $ 14. Called Yellow-​Checker-​Star and the supervisor said there was nothing he could do and refused to call the cell number I provided. The driver left a blank ticket to my friend, who considered him a nice and friendly guy without raising any suspicion of cheating. What a hospitality YCS offered to a visitor! Of course, I told my friend to take Über or Lyft in the next 2 weeks.

I worked at yellow, checker, star for five years, the worst work experience I’ve had in my life, they violate all your labor rights, force you to steal from the riding public and get paid less than minimum wage, now I work for UBER and LYFT and make double and work half… I used to worked 5, 6, 7 days a week times 12 hours a day and last year I got paid by YCS 29k in just about two month with UBER and LYFT I’ve earned 15k so do the math…

I want to thank Melanie the dispatcher for helping me retrieve my lost purse. I dropped it in the cab and called them and within 10 minutes she called me and said she had located the driver and he was on his way back. You Rock! Thank you so much.

On Sun APR 13, 2014 I got in a cab from YRC from the PARIS hotel to the airport. I was not paying attention to the cab I took, the drivers name or company. I was more interested in partaking in seeing Vegas and talking with my son. I was dropped at the terminal (and I will say this is my fault 100%) I got my roller bag but not my small carry on from the trunk. I got inside realized I did not have my bag panic ensued went back outside & the driver was gone and I had no idea who it was or what company he was with! I’ll never do that again. Always note who you are riding with when you take a cab even better always get a receipt even if paying cash as that will have the base info on it you can use to track down lost articles. You may not be as lucky as I was! At any rate later that evening I got a call from Randy (I assume a supervisor) saying that he was from YRC transporatation and the driver returned my bag. Wow, I was shocked. I then worked with Maggie in the lost and found there and she helped get my bag back to me safe and sound via fedX. Its so great to know that there are still great honest people in the world that did not take advantage of someone elses misfortune. There were definelty some valubales in that bag and i was so happy to get my possessions returned! Thanks again to YRC all the way from the driver to the supervisor to the lost and found.

We got JJ and he’s amazing! We were really drink and he was so nice! He drove us from sapphire and to our hotel he was so nice

Was told by dispatch to call another can company because we had 5 people.

Honest cab company. they found my lost iphone in cab and it was returned to me on the east coast in 4days by the cab company. thx, Maggie.

In July 2012 I rode in a Yellow-​Checker-​Star taxi and was told by the driver that this was «the elite fleet» for locals in Las Vegas. Now that I am a local in Las Vegas, I find that this taxi company is not «elite» at all. I would honestly suggest avoiding using YCS Transportation whether you are a local in Las Vegas or a visitor. The reason: You can wait forever a never get a cab after you call. The people who take the calls sound exasperated and helpless.
