If you’re in search of a safe and loving environment for your pet to stay in while you’re on vacation, at work or unable to watch over them, Cody’s Cozy Pals is the perfect location! We function as a pet boarding facility that caters to all animals including dogs, cats, birds and more. Not only do we house your animals and provide them with the proper play area, food and resting stations, we provide bath and nail services as well.

Does your pet prefer to stay cozy at home? We also offer In-​Home Pet Sitting for your dogs, cats, birds, fish, small mammals and reptiles too!

History

Established in 2005.

My love for animals started in early childhood since I was surrounded by many different kinds of pets. That love grew more and more with each passing year. As I grew older I would house sit my neighbors pets and begged my parents to send me to Busch Gardens Zoo Camps; which they did. My first job was at a veterinary hospital where I took care of the boarders and sick patients, and assisted doctors. I also did volunteer work for local rescue groups. In college I studied photography and most of my projects were pictures of horses and other animals. After graduation I started my own photography business and even though I loved it, later I deemed it a side job and began a more «hands on» career with animals.

I started a pet care business, caring for pets in their own homes while their families were on vacation and afternoon dog walks for the pups who’s parents worked long days. I soon realized that I was limited to how many clients I could take on because traveling from one to the other took up so much time. So I opened up my home to boarders and a year later converted my existing dog walk clients to weekly daycare as well as adding new daycare clients. My clients enjoy having a safe, fun loving, educational, affordable and most of all — clean environment — for their pets.

Going into its’ 8^th year my business has grown leaps and bounds and I could no longer do it alone, I hired two part time workers to help out.

I worked a long side Dan Rossignol a local dog behaviorist of 35 years. Here I expanded my knowledge base of dogs, their behaviors and how to fix it and avoid conflict. Utilizing this knowledge I have successfully fostered, rehabbed and re-​homed over 40 dogs in the past 5 years.
