Kerr deVoe is a real estate law firm. We represent developers, buyers and sellers of commercial real estate; individuals and families buying or selling residential real estate; and numerous mortgage lenders for commercial mortgage loans. We also help form and advise small business in New York, including corporations, limited liability companies, and others.

Business Owner
James D. Kerr has twenty years of experience in residential and commercial real estate transactions, corporate and business legal services. His practice includes negotiation and review of residential contracts, commercial leases and construction contracts. Mr. Kerr has acted as examining counsel for regional title insurance agencies.
Mr. Kerr has served as an instructor for the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce, teaching a Legal Structures class as part of the Chamber’s Entrepreneurial Assistance program. A member of the American and New York State Bar Associations, Mr. Kerr graduated from Albany Law School of Union University in 1992. He is an alumnus of Binghamton University.
