I don’t know what happened to this practice but I would not and will not ever recommend her again. I was 12 minutes late for an appointment that I drove over 40 miles to attend and she refused to see me. I’ve been seeing her for quite some time. She has never been overly nice to me but I liked her nurse Theresa and the nurse practitioner, Karen Dougherty so I white knuckled through my general disappointment at her(dr. Peregrim’s) lack of bedside manner. Karen is no longer with the practice so I will be taking my business elsewhere. My family is well connected in the Albany medical community and they were shocked she did this. Please go elsewhere. There are so many good doctors in the area that it’s not worth being mistreated like this.

Dr. Peregrim is like a Sherlock Holmes of doctors! She always listens carefully and asks all the right questions — you can see that determining just the right diagnosis for a patient captures her full attention. Also, she has a wild sense of humor, which I always appreciated. The only downsides were that, when I was her patient(I have since moved out of the area) I had to wait a very long time before being called in for my appointment, sometimes 45 minutes or more! However, I always forgave the wait because Dr. Peregrim is so trustworthy and skilled.
