We work with privately-​owned, closely-​held businesses and their owners throughout New York and western New England including the Capital Region — Albany, Schenectady, Troy and Saratoga Springs.

Business Owner

Kathy’s extensive experience and credentials as an entrepreneur and business owner provide the perfect foundation to assist buyers and sellers with consulting, sales, acquisitions and mergers. Since 2002, she has consulted with small and mid-​sized businesses throughout the greater Capital District to help them build value and prepare for an exit.

Prior to becoming a business owner, Thiel worked successfully in sales and marketing at AT&T, Johnson & Johnson and Procter & Gamble. As a successful entrepreneur, she founded and/​or owned several area businesses including Thiel Group Consulting, the Knowledge Network Inc. and Driver Training Network.

Kathy has experience on both sides of the table — as a purchaser and as a seller of a business.
