Taquiza “La Rubia”

Taquiza La Rubia catered my Cinco De Mayo work event at Stanford yesterday for 40+ guests. Bruno was fantastic. The service was professional and kind… AND the FOOD was incredible. My personal favorite was the chicken taco w/​mixed veggies. I’m hungry just thinking about it. I would recommend them to anyone! Thanks Tara/​Bruno! My coworkers are still talking about the tacos.

Bruno catered my nephews birthday party and I was seriously so amazed at the quality of their food that I had to ask who had catered. It’s very rare to find a catering service that’s this flavorful and great, especially in this area

Tara was wonderful to work with at my husbands 30^th yesterday. The food was excellent (everyone raved about the al pastor) and the table was gorgeous. What really topped it off was how personable and friendly Tara was. She arrived right on time and was flexible with our requests. My four year old daughter was mesmerized and Tara was happy to have her hanging out and chatting her up. We will definitely be using La Rubia again!

They are amazing! Simply amazing! The meat is so flavorful and their service is fantastic! I will use them again and again! Everyone should use them for their party needs. Not one complaint!

Did a party for my grandsons first birthday, it was last minute planning for catering but Tara was great got me in prepared all the food was very lovely patient and kind. She brought everything we discussed hand made tacos, quesadillas, all the rice beans salad all the extras !! Very nice set up no worrying about plates napkins or anything for that matter ! Price was fair and she will work with your budget. Thank you again will use in the future ! also I have some food allergies

Tara catered my son’s graduation party. The setup was absolutely top notch. She was so professional and very patient with all the kids. Everyone at our event enjoyed the food. I heard from numerous people that the flavors were great. I am certainly going to hire her for other events. I really liked the menu they offered and especially liked that they had vegetarian options available too. If you are looking for taco catering this is the one you should book don’t look elsewhere.

Bruno and Tara really have what it takes for Taco catering. Had a party for my husbands retirement. Had 100 people there. They were on time and everything was wonderful. The Taco’s rice and beans were delicious. Salsas were great. Nothing but great feedback from my guests. I would highly recommend them for your next party. Karen Salazar

Bruno catered my daughters 1^st Birthday at the park yesterday and he was great. Very attentive, food was good and set up was beautiful. Mossdale landing park does not allow gas grills to be used so Bruno improvised and made it work. Food was good and was kept warm. But I wonder how much better it would have tasted if he was able to serve off the grill.

We had Bruno and Tara cater my daughter’s baby shower and they were amazing. I had another caterer lined up and they had to cancel. I emailed Tara and they were abel to accommodate us. All our guest were delighted w the food and the service. Excellent presentation and professional service. Thank you guys once again!

Found them on Unilocal they got back to me right away for a memorial service we needed them for. They were very personable and the food was great, would use them again and highly recommended. Made one less thing for this hard time less stressful and we thank them …

Im going to start off by saying they have GREAT customer service and even though their website is pretty easy to follow they were more than happy to answer any question via phone call or email. They arrived on time, the food was displayed well, they were good with the guest, and their prices are comparable to other companies. That being said we hired the company before having a taste test based solely on the reviews we had read. Unfortunately, that was our mistake; neither our family or friends enjoyed the flavoring/​seasoning/​marinate of the food. I wouldn’t say we are picky eaters but something was just off from the normal expectations of Mexican cuisine. We went home with a lot of leftovers that day.

Tara and Bruno Catered our Companies Summer Picnic for about 80 people the food was excellent the set up and service were outstanding. I will be using Tara and Bruno again for company and personal events.
From my first contact with Tara they delivered exactly what they promised and more.

I couldn’t ask for a better event. They came to my work and hooked up a feast to remember. Not a whole lot of good Mexican food in San Ramon/​Danville/​Alamo area so having this food is like an oasis in the desert to a dying man. I have co worker who killed 16 tacos and was doing his best to dust off the all you can eat goodness that was La Rubia catering. Just wish they had a place hear, hope my work bring them in again. They showed up early, they cleaned up everything like they were never there. They even gave people food to go who couldn’t stick around because meetings. I would use them again and again. 5 ¹⁄₅ stars.

Big thank you to Taquiza La Rubia for catering our event this weekend! Planning a large party in NorCal from way down here in SoCal is a big task. A friend recommended we use Taquiza La Rubia for catering. Boy was I impressed! I communicated with Tara before the event and she totally relieved any stress I had about the food. Whew! She arrived right on time and made serving 50 people seem like a breeze! The food was outstanding and all of our guests raved about it! You have a wonderful business and I wish you all the success in the world! I only wish I lived closer so I could use Taquiza La Rubia for all of my events! Thank you again!

Bruno and Tara have catered our entire families birthdays as well as my company party. They show up early, cook great food and provide such a wonderful experience for all of our guests. The meat is tender with flavor which is to me makes a breaks the taste of the food. I’m about to call them right now and book them again.

There were a few hiccups on my wedding day, but La Rubia was NOT one of them! Tara, the owner was prompt, friendly and professional. What more could you ask for? The food was delicious and my guests loved it too! I told them to bring their appetite and boy did they! One of my cousins had 15 tacos!
Out of the meats we chose I loved the grilled chicken. It was tender and flavorful. The food display was set up nicely. I would definitely recommend their service, hell may even use them again in the future.

Out of all the chaos and what went wrong from our other vendors that day, Tara and her staff were the light of it all. She arrived early and got to setting up quickly! My party loved the food! We had the carne asada, shredded chicken and carnitas along with the beans, rice, chips and salsa. I think just about everyone had went up twice or three times for more.
The correspondences prior to the party was quick and efficient! Tara had me at ease the entire time and answered any and all questions I had.
Would definitely use them again and refer to anyone who is looking for a taco caterer.

I have nothing but great things to say about La Rubia. Bruno and Tara were great to work with. I was looking for someone to cater at my sons one year birthday party because we wanted to enjoy his birthday with him. I called different places and I am glad i went with La Rubia. They had so much to offer, salsa, tocos, rice, beans and quesidillas for the little ones and their watermelon water was amazing. I had a hard time choosing the menu I wanted for the birthday party, but Tara was so helpful that she made creating my menu easy. They have so much to choose from. They reassured us that we were taken care of because they were very professional and had everything. My guessed just got in line and they were served their tacos. Everyone was satisfied and I was too. I was so satisfied that I booked them again for my son’s 2 year birthday. Not to mention they have a beautiful set up and have great customer service=) You wont go Wrong with La Rubia Taquiza.

I was in charge of throwing a company event and wasn’t sure on what to order. After a few days of thinking and with the help of my roommate we were so lucky to find Taquiza «La Rubia». Bruno and Tara showed up, on time, and quickly set up their beautiful display. The food was cooked on site and was fresh as could be. When everyone came to eat they were so excited! The salsa’s were all made by Taquiza «La Rubia» and they were on point! I could’ve sat there and ate all day. Not only because the food was that fantastic but Bruno and Tara are so personable and fun to talk to! They really know how to entertain and keep a crowd eating! Without a doubt I would recommend this to anyone and I’m trying to get my company to hire them for more events!

I have had heard awesome reviews from others about how yummy Taquiza «La Rubia» is and knew that I need to try them out for my daughter’s birthday party. Bruno, one of the owners, showed up early enough to set up and talk about when we wanted him to start cooking for our guest. He was super friendly and was willing to answer any questions we had. When the guests came he started cooking and the smells where amazing. Everyone was anxiously waiting to eat the yummy chicken, carne asada and veggie tacos. I loved the fresh veggies, I loved the cinnamon on them! My favorite was the guacamole, nothing is better than homemade guac! The rice and beans were super delish too. My daughters favorite thing is cheese quesadilla’s. So Bruno did one up for the birthday girl! She was so happy. =0)
