Target

So sick of advertised specials that either aren’t valid or the ‘manager’ can’t figure out how to honor their promotions. Target is the new Walmart and I’m not going anymore.

Margaret was great so. Fast and nice. Only reason for only 3 stars is the store was a mess the café area was so dirty then when I walked out the exit area had all kinds of popcorn on the carpet. And the carpet was all bunched up and gross if I wasn’t paying attention I could have tripped and fell very easy. Such a hazard especially for older people walking with a walker or cane. Needs to be fixed right away.

Target is a great store, it’s a step above Walmart and the quality is really good. I do think the clothes are a bit over priced but the styles are certainly more in. The clothes do not feel cheap at all.
This one had a Starbucks and a grocery section which is extremely convenient when you do not want to make two separate stops.
Store was clean and organized. The only down side is they do not offer the self express section for check out. So can slow you down when you only have a couple items and have to wait behind someone who went grocery shopping for the week.

Man I used to love this target but I hate it now they never have anything it’s always out of stock and they never know when they will restock once it took them 4 weeks to stock up. Some workers are plain rude

When did Target lower it’s standards? As clean as the store is the employees lack business manners. They don’t dress in the typically red shirt & khaki pants which easily helps us locate a team member & instead wears black and/​or maroon.
Let me list all the things wrong so I don’t bore you all with an endless paragraph.
1. Again their uniforms.
2. Their attitudes. (There was a day in particular one of the cashiers gave me attitude for using coupons. Might I add even after her manager gave me the clear because I wasn’t breaking any rules she continuously gave me attitude.)
3. The cashiers talk «small talk» amongst themselves. (There has been numerous times I waited for them to finish talking to give me my change & receipt.
4. One cashier was on the phone while with a customer.
5. When the cashier’s only words to you are the amount you owe.
To some people these things might not bother them but to me a long time shopper at Target this all seems un-​Target-​like. Do I dare to call headquarters?
All you need to do is adjust your attitude & no they are not tired from the holiday madness. This has been going on for quite a while. Get your act together Lathrop Target.

The employees are so rude at this location. I’ve never been to any store where cashiers are allowed to be on their cell phones in the middle of transactions.

I love being able to go to target and get a Starbucks. But this Starbucks is horrible. They have people who clearly don’t want to work there. I always go and this barista girl is mad at the world. She is short with the guest, she has her best I hate you face. It’s just ridiculous. I’ve tried and tried to get on her good side. Frankly not because I care just because I want my drink made right. But even after many «hey how’s it going» & «how are you? s» I can’t seem to make her change her ways. Recently I went in and had a holiday coupon. I bought 5 grande holiday drinks and I get any grande espresso handcrafted beverage free. Well she wouldn’t accept it. She said I had to get a holiday one. I told her if you read it, it tells you. Her response. «I read it 5times already». Obviously you didn’t or can’t comprehend what you read.
I made a complain with the manager in charge Sarah and she was rude as well. Talking about someone calling out. How is that my fault. I’m not the one that called out. If the Starbucks is understaffed don’t take it out on the customers.

The best part about the Lathrop Target is the location. It is directly on Interstate 5 and serves as a great stop when driving through the area. The building is modern and large based on the standard Target format. There are clean restrooms, lots of shopping, and a Starbucks right off the freeway. They stock all the same stuff as all other Targets, but the location is great for the area and for us travelers — especially when you forget the card for your present!

I used to love this store. I’d shop here every paycheck. The clearance sections are awesome. The 2 stars are because of one incident that I had with this store. I went shopping here a couple weeks back in the evening time. When I was done shopping I got an invite to go somewhere and since I was already right off the freeway, my friend picked me up from the store so I left my car in the parking lot with my purchases in my car. I came back to my car approximately 30 min after the store closed to get my car. To my astonishment it was getting towed away along with about 5 other vehicles from the parking lot. I followed the tow truck to Tracy to All Star Towing where my car was taken. They told me Target security called to have it towed and it would be $ 380. I asked why and they said no overnight parking. I had not parked it overnight, it was only there a few hours after I had shopped. They said I would have to take it up with Target Management. The following day I went to speak with Target Management. Customer Service called up a «manager» not sure because the young lady had removed her badge. She told me the store has nothing to do with it, it was their security. So I asked for a name and number for their security. She then told me there was nothing she could do, she doesn’t know what security company they use and they don’t have a phone number and I’d have to go back and talk to All Star towing in Tracy. This blew my mind because I work at a very popular retail store in the office and we have every phone number and name to every single company we deal with. So I go back to All Star to ask them again. They tell me oh you’ll have to go back to Target and talk to them. They have the number. I am starting to feel like the towing company has a deal with Target and as a team they are strong arming people into getting their hard earned money. While I was at the towing company, several of the tow drivers and the lady at the desk are telling me how much money they make from towing cars from the Target lot every single day. Which made me feel crappy because here I am a full time college student and employee that receives no government or family financial help and am having to come up with $ 380 to get my car out of the tow yard. If anyone takes anything from this rant, do not leave your car unattended at this Location. Also while I was at the tow company they said people’s cars get stolen from this lot constantly. Anyways, I used to spend a couple hundred dollars at this location monthly. That has come to a stop and they will not be receiving any of my business ever again.

For a target this place really don’t have much in stock. Best to go to the other stores nearby! Ingress and egress is a weird layout.

With every visit to this store, I find it more difficult to return. The only reason I shop here is because it’s so close to the skate park.
Today was terribly typical of many visits. The restroom was awful, and hadn’t been cleaned for what looked like days, although someone had put a checkmark for every hour of the list. I’m sure two rolls of toilet paper suddenly disappeared within an hour, and the other toilet was plugged, and the floor was covered in tracks. At least the soap and water worked.
Going through the store, employees were socializing, which might explain why so many shelves were disorganized or nearly bare. Besides those at registers, I only saw two employees working in the various departments.
A few months ago, the refrigerated units in the grocery section had all broken, and they were out of commission for days. Thankfully, they disposed of the products in that area. However, it seems that they don’t seem to rotate items, so you may get an expired product, even though the cabinets are working just fine. It must be incredibly difficult to read dates.
I left in disbelief today, without anything. If the store manager is the same as was there last year, they should take him to Minneapolis for re-​training. The company might be wise to re-​train every manager in California though. It seems the further from headquarters, the sloppier the stores are.

TARGET PHARMACY REVIEW
Only use this pharmacy if you have a lot of time in your hands and if you are incredibly patient. This pharmacy are always low on any meds they will waste your time by giving you increments of 3 until they get their shipment and then repeat the procedure the following month. Also when your refills runs out you will have to find out by not getting any meds and then they will remember to contact your doctor for the refill authorization in the meantime again giving you increments of 3 pills at a time until your Doctor’s office finally approves the authorization.
Beware of a cashier here who is dark skinned and her eyes are bulging out (thyroid problem) she is irritable and cranky and will always rush you off. Granted that her irritability is part of her thyroid problem, she had the audacity to raise her voice at me one time when I asked her to explain to me why the pill looks different than before. The Pharmacists are good you can see them making up for the slack of all the other lesser employees but they can only do so much when you are frustrated that you cannot get your meds in a timely manner.

I been here quite a few times. I usually stop by here when I am driving and need to use the restroom or just need a break from driving, so I troll around. This Target is big and located right off interstate 5 and it’s so easy to get on and off :) Target is on like this big plot of land with no other stores, so it’s kind of deserted but not a lot of people in the store and there’s plenty of parking! And restroom are kept super clean!

Cashier not happy with the job, I been shopping here and I have noticed that the cashier is not happy on what their doing, not even saying hi or hello. just ignore you. I started hating my target store because of this people working on the front mostly the cashier… rude!!!

I like coming to this branch because it’s closer to my house and it seems like there’s not to many shoppers.
Today I came to pick up a few things. One item was the nestle baking white chocolate morsels. The tag was up for a promo going on which was buy 4 24 oz nestle bags and get ANY baking commodity 10 – 12 oz for free. Of course I took pictures because I always have promotion problems with target. So once I showed the cashier he said it wasn’t ringing up and so I busted out my picture. And he was like oh ok I’ll honor it. Then he called his manager and told her about it and said maybe we can take it down so other customers won’t have a problem. But the week prior that same promo was up and the cashier said the same thing! And I’m like so yall communicate your promotions or just act like you don’t know it up??? Yall schemin man!
Just glad I got my stuff for the right price and deal.
Heads up if there’s any sale or promo take a picture to bring to the register to make sure you get the deal!

The only reason why I’m giving this place 2 stars is because I feel that most of the female workers here are incredibly rude. I’ve been here countless times because I live like 5 minutes away, and many different female register workers do not greet me at all, nor do they acknowledge me on the way out, even when I say thank you.

We prefer this Target over the one in Manteca. Not because of the product choices but because of the cleanliness & lack of people.
Overall they have good product options & restock often. Now it’s not as great as Bay Area Targets in the products but it’s enough.
My issue is the cashiers. You really have no idea if you will get a nice person, a mute, or Red card pusher. I’m so sick of them pushing the Red card. We have one but disconnected it from my bank account. Yes saving 5% is great but I don’t see why they have this option. It’s really bizarre. We got one for the holidays but after what happened we closed that account so the card no longer has an active account. I feel that them offering incentives to the employees for people signing up for a Red card creates a semi hostile shopping experience. Some cashiers push it the whole time making check out awkward.
Now the floor staff I’d really nice & I’ve had them go out of their way to help!!!

This is one of my favorite Targets in the area. The store is clean and organized and most of the workers were great. In fact, one worker was nice enough to get us some toilet paper from the back though it seemed like she was new.
However, what gave this store 3 — stars for me is our cashier. At first glance, she looked like one of those ladies that will bake you cookies, give you freshly squeezed orange juice after having given you a hug that feels like it came from your favorite teddy bear. But no, this is why people say not to «judge people by its cover» because of this lady. She was just plain RUDE. Her light was on so my sister and I went to her register. Once we got there and finished placing our items on the register she states that she’s closed. My sister apologized and even offered to go to a different register however lady says it’s fine. She starts to ring us up. We bought toilet paper and once she finished ringing it up she tossed it rudely and not like one of those I’m making a 3 pointer kind of toss but she tosses it as if she wanted to kill us for going to her register when she was «closed». Needless to say, I probably won’t be back for a while and if I have to I must be really desperate.

I LOVE this Target! It’s right by my house, so I’m here 1 – 6 times a week. I like that it’s clean and well stocked. I’ve never had a problem with couponing there. The starbucks is great. The only complaint I have is that some of the employees are rude. I went to return some window blinds once and gave them the wrong receipt, so the girl automatically assumed I had stolen it and told me I’d have to leave it there. I told her I did not steal it, so she said they were going to check surveillance from that day. I told her to go right ahead, I’ll wait. After digging through my purse for 10 minutes, I found the receipt and handed it to the dumb B. She didn’t apologize or say anything after that. She still works there. I wish I could remember her name.

Enjoyed not being bothered by workers asking how I’m doing. On the flip side of the spectrum, when I did need help, Yolanda was right there to nicely help me. She honored a mislabeled sale Hensley shirt which was greatly appreciated! I am glad that I chose this location today.
Only negative note; dressing room was really dirty… A lot of clothes just thrown around, very yucky.
