Specialties
The Doghouse is not a traditional kennel. Our concept of allowing dogs to interact with one another coupled with a genuine relationship with our customers definitely sets us apart from other boarding facilities.
There was a great deal of time, research and study put into the planning of our facility to insure maximum safety and fun for our guests. We believe in treating our guests as if they are members of our own family. Short cuts and compromise were not even an option in the design, from the temperature controlled central heat and air in the kennel area to comfortable cots and blankets in each room.
Other special features include bone shaped lawns for the large, medium and small dog outdoor play yards, whereas indoor play yards are climate controlled and equipped with special rubber matting for the dogs to play on, all within a professionally supervised setting. We do extensive temperament testing to be sure this is the right fit for each guest. In addition, we have stringent vaccination requirements to insure the safety and health of all our clients.
History
Established in 2007.
As friends and neighbors for 15 plus years we saw the need for quality dog care is always needed. We to the leap and purchased our property and began its remodel. The economy then turned south, we have scraped and clawed our way through a bad economy. Our strength, determination and perseverance to succeed is a huge testament to our commitment to provide that quality care.
Proudly voted One of the Best of San Joaquin County according to the Stockton Record six years in a row.
