This Place is THE BEST!!! I have 4 tattoos all done by the BEST ARTIST there… NATE DIAZ! He is absolutely AWESOME!!! I had my 1st tattoo on my 66th birthday. Then I got a breast cancer ribbon (I am a survivor). On my 68th birthday I got a peace sign & the most gorgeous Lighthouse ever (The New London, Conn. Lighthouse to be exact)!! Nate took his time to make sure that the dimensions and the shading (as well as the coloring) were perfect. I have told anyone who wants a good tattoo experience to go to Rock-​A-​Billy and ask for Nate. Keep up the good work guys & girls!!!

I’ve never received a tattoo here, but I have gotten two piercings. The first of the two, a nostril piercing, went alright. I returned for a septum piercing, which was unfortunately not pierced in the correct spot. Because it was pierced incorrectly, I have a lot of pain in the tip of my nose when it is pushed on. The piercer there is also kind of pushy and made my experience feel uncomfortable. I gave two stars because they properly clean and sanitize everything before piercing you, but other than that I would not return here for a piercing and would send friends interested in getting pierced here elsewhere. Additionally, this was one of the first shops I looked into while I was first getting into the world of body mods and the person who answers the phone was incredibly rude to me and seemed aggravated that they had to answer my questions.

By far an amazing tattoo experience. The people were so nice and new what they were doing. My artist Roger was awesome. So dedicated in his work. I will for sure being going back to him specifically for my next tattoo. Great place!!!

OMG! We had a great time. We showed an idea of what we wanted Doug the tattooist drew up the the perfect draft for us.
Everyone was super nice, friendly and fun. There were 6 of us that got tatted all 6 of us are extremely satisfied.
The place is clean, organized and sterile.

This is a fantastic shop. I went in with three separate components for my tattoo and he drew it out and it was perfect. An hour later I had a tattoo that I am proud to have on my arm.

Met with Roger to get my first tattoo. I had several photos of what concept I wanted and he free-​handed it. With a few minor changes I suggested, he was open to customizing it to exactly what I wanted.
He listened well and paid attention the the small details that make my tattoo «right». He was professional and polite, and totally comfortable to be around. I’m glad he didn’t force any conversion during the tattoo because it being my first tattoo, I was focused on breathing. And he was focused on my tattoo.
Going back tonight for another design concept… I hope he can bring it to life again!
He also showed me his portfolio prior to getting the tattoo which I find comforting in seeing his past masterpieces. You want a slight idea of what you’re walking into, right?
I came here because of Unilocal reviews and am glad I did!

I had a cover up done by Frank Luca. I am beyond happy with end result. I am sad that I no longer live in Florida to get more work done by him. Rock-​a-​billy is clean, professional and full of great artists. I highly recommend this tattoo shop to anyone looking for new ink!

My family and closest friends have trusted Lorne at Rockabilly for years. We are so lucky to have found an artist who has captured our personalities and imaginations while helping us design the perfect pieces with which to adorn our bodies. Collectively, we have memorial pieces, large works, small fun stuff a full sleeve, pieces for our children & pet memorials. There is no one we trust more and no tattoo studio with a greater reputation. The shop is immaculate and every artist is knowledgeable and personable, which is so important when it comes to a permanent adornment. I’m always skeptical going to new places but this shop was highly recommended. From the time I walked in the door I loved this place. They are all very talented artist at this shop but they all do different work, so they encourage you to walk to each station look at the artist portfolios and pick one with regards to the work you want done… «I love that» my artist was frank and he is very talented I can’t be more happy with his work the other people there are talented as well. everyone is so welcoming and make you feel like friends/​family, that’s a very rare thing in south Florida. I go back in 4 weeks to work more on my half sleeve tattoo and I can’t wait !!!

I got a tattoo at Rock-​A-​Billy about 15 years ago, and absolutely loved it. The work was great and everything was tip top; however, I sent a couple of my friends there to get tattoos done and the staff was extremely rude and hostile. I am ashamed to say I have a tattoo by people who would insult customers.
I had 3 friends, 1 being my sister-​in-​law, go in wanting white ink tats done. The staff insulted their choice stating that they only do real tattoos there. As far as I know, ink on skin is part of the art form, regardless of the color ink. I’m disappointed in this shop, and needless to say I will be going elsewhere for future work.

Thanks again you guys rock this is my seventh tattoo and the guys there make you feel like family. You walk in everyone greet you joke around they help you and give you advice on tattoos to give you the most out of your artwork I’ve gotten tattoos from pl, Chris, Jason, Frank and recently last night Nate the owner Dave I met last night and looking forward to have tattoo from him. If you want to have a great experience a this is the place to go. I know people only put the bad stuff on but sometime people need to know the great places to go to .I highly recommend them I only go to them thanks again guys.

Felt very uncomfortable and unwanted here. Ended up leaving without getting any work done. Instead I went to Kreepy Tiki tattoos and they were so kind and welcoming. If you need to get work done go to Kreepy Tiki!

Great tattoo shop! Everyone is always so funny and friendly. I have 2 tattoos from PL which are incredible and by far exceeded my expectations when I got them done. I also have 3 from Steve which are wonderful however he no longer works at this studio. I did have my nose pierced by Greg as well and though its been a few years and I have since taken it out, it healed wonderfully and never had an issue. Highly recommended shop, I personally think they’re the best in South Florida.

Wow, just wow.
From all the great reviews I thought this place was going to be more then decent.
Wrong. From the moment I stepped into the store I felt like I was not wanted. I work in customer service and I understand it gets busy; even a «Hi how are you, we will be right with you.» Is better then a downward condescending glance.
When one of the tattoo artist finally got around to speaking to me, his words were short and clipped, like I had killed his family and made him watch; and was now coming back in his life to gloat about it. Not like I was a person, or at least a potential sale. So I told him what I wanted despite feeling like a bother because of his facial expressions. He pointed me to the far wall and told me to look over there, even tho he felt what I needed was a custom job.

I looked over the art work, not really impressed, pulled out my phone to start looking for a new tattoo place and he surges over towards me «YOU CAN’T TAKE PHOTOS!» That was it, if I had ANY doubt of how bad this place was, that action right there obliterated it. I calmly told him I was looking for a place that wanted me and my money then walked out.
