Sleep Inn & Suites

Do cent and inexpensive. We found the walls paper thin, meaning the kids upstairs apparently dancing at 11pm kept us awake. The neighborhood is shoddy, but the hotel felt safe. Generally clean and a lackluster breakfast bar mean no frill travel on a budget.

Stayed for a night on a last minute trip. The front desk very pleasant. The room clean and large. Free parking and breakfast wonderful. The attendants couldn’t be nicer. Highly recommend. Great value for the price

Can I please give 0 stars? I’ve never stayed at a hotel where I couldn’t sleep and literally had to leave at 4 o’clock in the morning to go somewhere else to get some sleep. The people in the room beside me literally had their tv on the highest volume level from the time I checked in until my premature departure. The base literally sounded like their tv was in my room. I could hear it with my tv and heat on.
I called the front desk attendant to see if she could tell them to turn their tv down, but of course she’s some teeny bopper with a gadget stuck in her ear. After having gone down to the desk and calling her, she didn’t care at all why I was checking out at 4 AM.
Sleep Inn will NEVER get my service again, as this is just downright deplorable and a waste of $$. How this place has so many stars with the rude and inconsiderate guests they have is beyond me. I knew I shouldn’t have tried Sleep Inn. Should’ve stuck with the better chains I normally stay. NEVER AGAIN!

I love this hotel. Accommodations are always clean and I use this chain frequently for my travel. I enjoy the morning FREE breakfast that this hotel offer’s. I do not have to search for a place to eat and that is a huge plus. I travel with my mother a lot who requires a disability friendly accessible room. This hotel chain provides that as well. My mother loves it so much, that she wants to add a bathroom like this hotel has for their disabled visitor’s.

A great hotel. Clean… very clean! The staff was very nice and the breakfast was good.
I would stay here again in a minute. I didn’t use the pool, but the pool area was very neatly kept. The gym needs some attention as some of the weight cables are broken,

The other review hits the nail right on the head! This hotel has it all. Great location… near lots of stuff… comfortable and clean. Very friendly staff and a nice indoor pool. The price is great for the area (I usually stay at the Holiday Inn in College Park and the Hampton Inn in Laurel), much better pricing then the area generally has.
I checked in at 6pm and headed to my room to drop my luggage before dinner. I came out 5 minutes later to a lobby PACKED with people checking in. Apparently a tour company uses the hotel for their tour buses. I’m glad I checked in before this huge group of about 50 folks did.
I will say this, by the time I ran down the road to pick up some Five Guys Burger and Fries, and came back the lobby was empty. They had gotten all those people checked in within 40 minutes… impressive considering I’ve been at hotels were it takes them 40 minutes to check in one guest, never mind 50!
I usually stay in the Holiday inn a few towns away but this may be my new go to hotel when I am in the area.

Reasonably priced lodging in the greater DC area can be a bit of a challenge. I usually go with the Choice Hotel brands but was very discouraged by some of the reviews i had read on some of them here on Unilocal.
The Sleep Inn was a great choice. No fenced parking area, no bulletproof glass around the front desk. it is a fairly new property. My king suite had a comfortable bed, good reception on the tv, sofa, work desk, microfridge, and good wifi signal strength.
Breakfast buffet offered yogurt, boiled eggs, sausage, and the usual cereals and breads.
Two important pieces of information:
GPS will not direct to the address if you use the information from the choice hotels website. It’s about a block on the right from the Quality Inn.
This property is very popular with tour bus companies. Expect some parking problems and tourists that don’t know how to behave properly when on the road — and especially expect a crowd at the free breakfast buffet.
