Ah corridor — I mean, Total Wine… let me count the ways: cheaper than the class six store on fort Meade, helpful staff, huge selection of tasty suds, and discounts on cases of wine.
Corridor is responsible for introducing me to more fine hops-​infused beverages than all of my bar hopping during the entirety of my ‘20s. That’s saying a lot.
It is easy to spend hundreds of dollars here.
And fun.
And delicious.

Love this place, staff is very knowledgeable and really do want to help and educate you about what you’re looking for.
Case and point I was looking for a very nice single malt scotch for a gift. Not only did their spirits specialist point me out a really good one he found one just as good as an $ 80 bottle that was only $ 45.
The selection is nothing short of extraordinary. They have everything from the inexpensive «cheap stuff» to $ 2000 rare cognac. That goes for beer, wine, and other spirits.
The wine tasting is ok nothing too fancy but a good way to find something new.
If they don’t have it they will try to get it for you (if you want a case of it).
Will always try this place first.

No matter what I’m looking for, I can pretty much guarantee to find it at this location. Helpful staff and well organized. It’s like a Sam’s for alcohol! Lol

Overall, Total Wine has a very large selection
of widely distributed alcohol products. And it is
never hard for a struggling novice with general
questions to find a staff member for assistance.
Prices are competitive or better than most of
their competition in the area. In some cases far
better. For parties and large volume purchases
it is pretty much a no brainer.
With that said it is not a good alternative for wine
and beer connoisseurs in search of more specialized
selections and seeking advanced expertise.

Open on Sunday! Super plus added to the awesome selection of… Well everything! I thought I had ruined Easter Sunday brunch by not purchasing the champag for my Mimosa as normal people do, not at the last minute. So I get to Laurel and can not find open liquor on Easter Sunday. I panicked a bit but Unilocal to the rescue!! found this placs, got the biggest champagne bottle and celebrated like it was 1999.

What’s not to like about this place?

I still call TW&M «Corridor» as old habits die hard. This is basically the Costco of all things alcohol, throw in a decent cigar selection (all in s humidor), and, well, you don’t need to go anywhere else. Oh, there are party snacks, nibbles, and just about anything else you’ll need for your party, big or small.
Amazing wine selection from around the world. And funky spirits from all over like Aquavit from Norway, Kirchwasser from Germany, and Calvados from France to name a few.
Knowledgeable staff and wine tastings throughout the week.

Best selection and prices around. Great for stocking up and for finding products that you can’t find at the smaller liquor stores.

Love it, plenty of beer and wine selections and good pricing. My husband, mom and sister love it too. The people who recommend the wine aren’t great at hearing what you like, they are geared toward certain wines.

I have been to Total Wine three times now. Each time I have found the staff unhelpful and, at times, downright rude. Aisles are often blocked with loading equipment and, unless you know your way around, you are left to wander around a massive store until you stumble upon what you’re looking for. Staff do seem to have plenty of time to talk among themselves but ask the location of a wine and you are simply directed to a vague location in an aisle with hundreds of bottles. They do have a wide selection of alcohol but it wasn’t worth it to me.

This location is minutes from my sons’ house in laurel, MD and has a tremendous selection of wines and beers. On my recent visit, while I was blown away by the selection of beers my sons felt that the inventory was «lacking». Obviously, we are living in parallel lives.

Exceptional prices and customer service. Ask anyone there any question and you receive nothing but exceptional customer service. This company is worthy of being studied for best management.

Wow… this place. As soon as I walked in, I was completely overwhelmed by how large their selection was. But I was amazed how organized the entire store was. I loved the busy yet holiday atmosphere:) And the staff was super friendly and helpful! The nice gentleman that helped us out was very informative and knew his stuff! His recommendations helped us narrow down our choices so that saved us a lot of time :) everywhere I looked, i could tell all of the employees were busy helping customers out so I knew that their customer service was excellent. I definitely want to go back soon to purchase more wine for the holiday season!

I have never learned so much about wine in such a short amount of time! I came here to look for wine for Christmas presents for friends and family and much to my dismay, Linganore Mountain White was out of stock! The wine associate was able to point me in the right direction for other options as well as give me suggestions for ordering online and picking up in the store.
Welp, after the Mountain White fail, my friend and I decided that we wanted to learn more about champagne. We were up for an adventure, so we figured we’d learn something new. Fast forward to 15 minutes later, we learned the difference between real champagne and sparkling wine as well as the different types. I’m typically looking for sweeter options, but I’d been purchasing Brut all this time! Le Sigh. I have learned my lesson. The associates were even able to show us «dupes» of the very expensive bottles just so we had options.
After our quick champagne lesson, we tried new wines at the tasting bar… all free of charge!
Sheesh! Total Wine, how could you be so good to me, but so far away from my house (Owings Mills)?!! LOVED my time here. Most enjoyed the staff and the idea of learning something new without being made to feel like I was utterly uninformed (which I was, but who wants to have someone ELSE point that out?! lol). Thanks, Total Wine, for a weekend adventure!

This particular Total Wine location is fabulous. They are stocked with every wine, spirit, beer you can possibly think of! Beside from a wonderful selection, the prices are pretty amazing. Also, their staff is incredibly knowledgeable and definitely super patient and helpful. I went in looking for a banana bread beer (I know! It sounds odd but tastes amazing) and the sales people went out of their way to help me find what I wanted. Definitely check this Total Wine out, you won’t regret it.

All l can say is this place has it all if you want anything. Just ask someone that works there they
will take you right to it. I came here with one of my coworkers we were looking for a German liqueur to make a drink called Redheaded Slut. With a name like that l had to try it out. Hahaha if you’re interested in trying it go to Total Wine. They have have really good discount prices. I only paid about $ 4.99 for the peach Schnapps. The Jagermeister was about $ 18.00 you get a nice size bottle. You can Google the recipe. This was our Halloween drink waiting on the kiddies. It’s not really a Halloween drink but I made it mine. Drink up!

Absolute favorite beer, wine, spirits store in Laurel. Great educated staff, Wine tasting, open late and kegs. Nothing more I could ever ask for in a liquor store.

It bears admitting that the sheer size of the place, and thusly their selection, is enough to make my heart sing, coming as I do from the land of government-​owned and controlled liquor stores. This is not to say that they have everything I could ever want, so no fifth star [Apparently I drink too much obscure stuff, which is not necessarily something to be proud of] but the place is quite reliable for most liquors and the employees are unfailingly helpful though none of them are sufficiently impressive alcoholics as to be an expert on everything.

My favorite place To taste and buy. Selection is awesome staff it’s helpful. Look for coupons on bulk buy

I will never be able to step foot into any other liquor store ever again! This place has everything you can possibly imagine with absolutely the lowest conceivable prices.
Not only is their selection (beer, wine, spirits) vast and wide, their employees are quite welcoming and eager in ensuring that you are getting what you’re looking for. I was about to pay a premium for a handle of Grey Goose, but an employee suggested I try Summit (?) — said it was manufactured within 20 miles of Grey Goose, and that it tasted exactly the same at a fraction of the cost. And he was right! Don’t know what you’re looking for? They’ll help you with that too. Very knowledgeable and friendly.
The best part about it? It’s right up the street from where I live. Makes it really tough for me to cut back on my alcohol consumption, but I’m not complaining.

It really gets old writing reviews of Total Wine locations, mainly because I know Unilocal frowns on copying and pasting the same review for different places. So I’ll just say my experience here was very similar to those I’ve come across at every other Total Wine location: The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, but never pushy or overly aggressive at selling beyond my stated price range; the wine itself was precisely as described and perfect for what we wanted; and I departed happier than when I entered with a portion of my faith in humanity restored.
I’d love to go behind the scenes of this chain and figure out what they do to a) create such a great customer service environment, and b) keep supplied with so many great wines at such good prices. Simply incredible.

This place is huge! Has a grand selection of wines from all price ranges. I always seem to lose my fiancé in here but I know where I can find him. Staring at the wall of beers going «uhhhhhhhh» in amazement and love. I usually have to drag him out because he’ll look at every beer in there if he could. The people are knowledgable about their stuff and are usually friendly.
One time I didn’t bring my purse inside and they carded me too when my fiancé bought something. We were just going to forgo whatever we were getting but they said I couldn’t be in there without an ID and called the manager over blah blah blah. Was kind of a pain but they let us go. Why is Maryland so strict on their alcohol laws?!

Bottom Line: The BevMo of the East Coast, Total Wines has beer, liquor, wine, snacks and setups but can be busy and overwhelming.
I heart beer. Twelve years in San Diego, one of the craft beer capitals of the US, has spoiled me and now I am scouring Anne Arundel County for great brews. Looking for a wide selection of craft beer I ventured to Total Wines on a Sunday afternoon. While Total Wines does seem to have a large selection of beer, I don’t think you are likely to find rare beers here. In fact, looking at beers here on a Sunday was a struggle in general because of the volume of people in the aisles and the lift equipment blocking the path. I was always in someone’s way or someone was in my way. Therefore, for a serious beer shopper, I recommend coming here when it isn’t busy and you can really look. Anyway, here are some of the pros and cons of Total Wine:
Pros:
— Wide selection of everything beer, liquor and wine
— Great inventory of setups for parties like toothpicks and cups
— Lots of liquor «airplane bottles» (plastic ones are great for adult pinatas)
— You can make your own six pack to try a variety of beers
— Full line of Riedel wine glasses on display so you can really get a feel for the different shapes and sizes
Cons:
— Crowded
— Could be overwhelming
— Trash in shopping carts (I’m totally over trash in shopping carts)
— No rewards program, only the VA stores have rewards programs

I love this store. In fact, as I travel over the U.S. I search to see if there’s a Total Wine I can visit while I’m in the area. They do it right. And this store proved to be exactly up to those standards. In fact, I think I’ve only ever been to one location that wasn’t awesome and that one was in the process of being remodeled. A few months later I went back and it was spectacular. They really do understand what it’s all about.
I felt right at home when I walked in. Knew I’d find tons of beer and a great selection of wines. And I did. Loaded my trunk and was a happy camper. Had lots of offers to help locate anything special and the cashier was great. Even though she had trouble scanning my 15% off coupon from my cell phone, she just pulled out a counter copy of the coupon and scanned it for me. That’s service!
I don’t understand the other reviewer’s comment about the beer aisle being disorganized. I found it to be straightforward. As an IPA drinker, I went right to the IPA section and had my pick of so many craft beers that I had to physically restrain myself from just loading the cart to the brim. And their «winery direct» selections are often some of my favorites wines. Yep, I’ll come back. And I’ll leave with another trunk full.

Picture this: You’re stranded in the sahara desert without water or food. Its been 4 days and the heat is scorching hot. You’ve pretty much lost the power to walk, and your at the bottom of the biggest sand dune you’ve ever seen. Over the next two days you struggle up this mountain of sand battling scorpions, spiders and gila monsters. Vultures have been flying over head for the last hour, and your impending doom is inevitable. As you approach the top of the dune a cool air starts to flow, and its the first bit of comfort you have had in almost a week. Then suddenly… nothing! *Blackness* When you awaken you are about a foot from the top, but you can hardly muster the strength to move. At this point you have two options, either give ip or push through. You choose the latter and finally get the energy to peer over the top what do you see? Thats right you see a liquor store! Your so thrilled that you run smooth past bob evans, panera bread, burger king, chic-​fil-​a, sweet frog, and weiss. Because urgent times call for drastic moves. You’ve been stuck in the desert for a week now and and a whopper just won’t do. You burst through the entrance looking like Tom Hanks from castaway, and the wall to wall alcohol almost takes your breath away. The man behind the register ask if he can help you, but you’re so mesmerized that your just shout «BEER, COLD BEER» and start stumbling towards the cooler. You finally get to the register with your loot and can hardly contain yourself. You just throw money at the cashier and run outside. Not realizing you just paid like $ 300.00 for a fifth of gin and two 40oz budweisers. You just don’t care. You sit down on the curve with a burning thirst, and once the first drop of cold liquid gold touches your lips… its is at that moment you understand exactly how good total wine & more is. So good in fact that you survive being stranded in the desert, just to drink yourself to death (responsibly)… but the selection though!
It’s that good!!!

I’ve traveled to this Total Wine a few times. What I like about this chain is that it does have quite a large vertical selection across a range of beverage types (from beer and wine through to hard liquor).
This location does a LOT of business with its relative proximity to Meade. The ability to order online is a nice touch befitting a chain of this size. Expertise across the staff varies. I asked two different people about options for White Burgundy and got answers ranging from «We don’t have that,» to «Hmm…not a high volume item for us (since it is pretty pricey). Here is what we have.»
I am always pleased that a liquor store does two things consistently: check ID for age and check ID for match to credit card.
