Specialties

Circle S Ranch is a 12-room Country Inn, nestled in the rolling hills of Northeast Kansas. Each room was uniquely decorated with attention to comfort and charm, with individual details such as jacuzzi tubs, double-sided fireplaces, canopy beds, waterfall showers, claw-foot tubs, and a favorite, the metal bucket shower head in the Cowboy Room.

We offer the ultimate in relaxation. You can book horseback rides, group or individual yoga sessions, fishing, massage, body scrubs or just take a long hike, complete with a picnic lunch and bottle of wine.

The Circle S Ranch is perfect for any event big or small. We can accommodate you in the inn, or in our 3,000 square foot party barn, complete with outdoor cabanas. We have a resident chef with 20+ years’ experience creating amazing dishes with the freshest, local ingredients. Call us for your corporate events and retreats, weddings, family reunions, romantic getaways, ladies’ slumber parties and more!

History

Established in 1998.

Seven generations have been a part of the Circle S Ranch, where owner Mary Cronemeyer still lives and raises cattle & bison. The first 80 acres of land were purchased in 1868 from one of the many railroads that crisscrossed the Kansas plains. The inn now rests on that original homestead. Mary’s 6 year old daughter is part of the 6th generation, and Mary’s granddchildren Sofia, Izzy, Alice & Simon are the 7th.

The 10,000 square foot inn opened in May 1998 with comfort, relaxation and hospitality as it’s main focus. Since then they have hosted hundreds of weddings, corporate retreats, food festivals and more.

The inn has gone through many changes since it’s opening. Currently, the inn includes 12 guest suites, all decorated with a different theme, a great room for dining, three comfortable seating areas, a hot tub located in the silo, a large double fireplace, wrap around porches, several bonfire rings, 3,000 sq. ft. party barn, miles of hiking trails & acres of native pasture.
