I remember a few years ago how good the grilled chicken salad at Kings used to be, not so much anymore. Next time I’ll take my $ 9 elsewhere.

I ate here in 1983 when I was in college in New Hampshire. I don’t know if they’re even in the same location now, but all I can say is, I had the greatest Italian sub I ever ate in my life. After almost 32 years, none has ever matched it.

King’s Subs is NOTONLYTHEBEST sub shoppe in the area, it is also THEONLY sub shoppe that my co-workers and I can ever agree to order from. We work 10 minutes down the road and have tried all the lunch takeout places in the area. None compare to Kings — and trust me, it would be an easier deal if we could find a place we loved as much that offered delivery! Their food is awesome– I regularly order buffalo chicken calzones, turkey club sandwiches and ham & cheese subs, and have tried some of their pasta dishes in the past too; My very FAVORITE thing on the menu is(what my co-workers and I refer to as «THESALAD») their grilled chicken salad with feta. It is a pretty good sized bowl of greens topped off with sliced peppers, grape tomatoes, a kalamata olive or two and pepperoncini PLUS some tangy crumbled feta cheese, and a mound of delicious, warm grilled chicken. It also comes with pita bread which tastes amazing when dipped into their greek dressing. Haven’t found anything they’ve made that I haven’t liked. HIGHLY recommended!

Service is quick, and the food is great. I was eager to try the steak tip salad, but alas, they were out. I’ll be back!

So convenient yet so not. Don’t call for a veggie pizza between Sat night and Wednesday because their vegetable shipment doesn’t come in until Wednesday morning and they’re all out. I’ve been told this repeatedly when trying to call in for a pizza. Their food is alright. I just like it cause its close to my apartment. Beyond that, I’d rather order Dominos.

I moved away over 7 years ago, but a week doesn’t go by that I don’t think of that Steak Tip sub. Man, that was good…

Hmmm, when I went school at at PA this was the place to get your late night food. They would come to your dorm and scream KINGSUBS!!! The fries were awesome, the grease was fuel for your brain and the flavors are still etched in my brain. That being said, many years later I went back, tried the food and was shocked at how much grease was in the subs, the fries were flat. I thought ‘has my memory failed me?’ I think we just need this kind of food when in highschool and college. Later on we need other stuff. I give this place 4 stars for the nostalgia of it all.

I work near here now and so for all i’ve gotten was their steak bomb sub. not a bad bomb but with extra cheese it’s almost $ 9. a little pricey in my book. i’ll try sonme more stuff and report back, soon.

Good quick hot food. Had the steak, cheese and mushroom sub(lg) Had them add peppers(which really made it good). That chips and a drink was about $ 10.00. I got the food to go but eating there would have been no trouble, lots of seating. They put the food out quick since they know thier customers have to get back to work. Others I was with all seemed happy with the food they had ordered.
