Pet Box Mobile Day Spa Pet Grooming

I feel compelled to warn people about this grooming service. We had a very bad experience getting our Goldendoodle a bath and sanitary trim. We were quoted one price and then charged much more, the cut was horrible and she took forever, way longer than other groomers we have been to. She shaved off areas of our dog that we didn’t ask for. The sanitary trim is very common with this type of dog, and that’s what we wanted, but she balded him. And shaved his legs down short along with the bridge of his nose, none of which was supposed to happen. It took several months for his fur to grow back properly. Our very sweet dog was shaky and acted afraid after the experience. (He has been regularly groomed since he was 4 months old and has never acted strangely after an appt.) I am speaking out now because I was recently talking with a friend and they too had a terrible experience with this groomer. Same issues we had. And then another person who overheard us talking said that she had a very bad experience getting her dog groomed with this service also. Obviously if 3 people in the same room all had awful experiences, there is something going on, and it’s not good. On another note: I’ve noticed the business has changed names on Facebook from Pet Box to just Mobile Dog and Cat Grooming and that the «owner» who seems to be the same person has told people her name is Beth and also told people her name is Mary. So something is strange there also.

Mary was absolutely wonderful with my little old lady yorkie. It used to be that when I would pick her up from the Groomers she would be traumatized, but Lilly (the dog) loved Mary from the second she picked her up and was happy and playful when she was all clean and cut. The whole process took less than an hour. Another great thing about Pet Box was that when I called to make the appointment she was able to fit me in in less than a week! Some places in town are booked 6 weeks out. The service was about the same price as the fancier groomers in town, but she came to my house and fit me in so quickly that it makes the decision easy.

We moved back to area and were in need of a groomer. We had heard good things about Pet Box and decided to try a mobile groomer. Glad we did. Beth was awesome. You can tell she loves animals. She was very kind and playful with our dogs. They liked her immediately. She groomed them just like we asked. They took a little more time than usual, but Beth took it in stride. We will definitely use her again and recommend to friends. Thanks Beth!
