Shell Gas Station

I used to love this gas station and even have a shell credit card! I used to be a loyal customer but not anymore! Now I go there when money is tight and I need to use my card! That’s the only reason! The couple that owned it previously and ran the place were amazing! A wonderful couple! A family run and owned buisness! They may still own the place but no longer run it. Now there are several different employees but there is only one employee that actually leaves the store locked and a note saying «be back in five»! The store should be open but the lights are on and the door is locked! Where is the convenience in that? He has done this more than once. I have gone there 3 times when no one is there, the door is locked, and there is a note. He is not back in five! I waited 20 mins. Last night. It has been the same employee every time! Not all the employees do this. Just one. Hope you aren’t trying to go there when he is working. You may not be able to get in the store and most people probably won’t wait! If I didn’t need to use the card I wouldn’t wait either!

Yeah. I am definitely reviewing a gas station. Get ready, folks!
First off, the couple that runs this place is super nice.
Second… They started selling Indian food out of a little buffet stand. Indian food fans of Lawrence: rejoice! They switch up their options all the time but they always have one veg option and one non-​veg, rice pilaf, and naan. Served in convenient plastic to-​go containers, this stuff is pretty great. It’s just some really tasty homemade food with a moderate level of spice that hits me just right. The non-​veg entrees are a bit more expensive than the veg ones. Last time I bought from them though, a side of rice pilaf and a paneer and eggplant dish was $ 5 even.
Even if they only sell two dishes a day, I am so excited there is someone else selling Indian food here! Ok… I’m going to go calm down and chow on some chaat… Whew.
