Best dentist ever! Never felt pain getting a root canal or any fillings and it helps when the people are friendly and make sure you are comfortable.

Epic Fail on patient in Pain! Had a terrible tooth ache. Dr. Foster agreed to see me that day and I wasn’t even a patient. Thought that was great. Had consult, needed a root canal. Dr. Foster said no problem, I do them all the time, I can even make a new crown while you wait. I told him I was nervous about root canals. He said if you’re nervous you might feel better seeing a specialist. I said OK. He sent me to a specialist that charges the full amount ($ 1200-​$ 1500) up front if you’re out of network, so I thought I would get Dr. Foster to do it. He does it all the time, so he said. I call the next day. Receptionist says I’ll call you back in a couple hours with an estimate. She never called. Fail #1, one extra day in pain. I call the next day. they say your portion is $ 195. I say good lets schedule ASAP, I’m in pain. Then office manager comes on the phone and says Dr. Foster told you you need to see a specialist. Fail #2 second day in pain. That was so different from our first conversation, I made an appointment to come in and talk to Dr. Foster. Went there, waited an hour, office manager kept coming out, He’ll be a few minutes, a few more minutes etc. Finally she admitted that he wasn’t coming out. Fail #3. Said that I could call him. I asked her to have him call me. Its been 4 days. BTW the office manager was solicitous as long as she thought I was going to talk to Dr. Foster. She got an attitude when she knew he wasn’t going to face me. Doesn’t have the bandwidth for customer service. Bottom line, Dr. Foster MAY be a competent dentist, but I didn’t find out because of his and his staff’s Epic Fail!

I was in need of a dentist for several conditions I had going on. I was HIGHLY displeased with the one I went to, and Choice One Dental Care was referred to me by an 800 number you can call that sets you up with what you are looking for.
Let me first start by saying I am HIGHLY fearful of any dental work. So, needless to say, I was very nervous. I thought that the reason I felt like I had been punched in the side of the face was because of a wisdom tooth that is growing in. Well, on my first visit, within minutes, I felt like I was at home, with family members I haven’t seen in years. They were SO friendly, caring, funny, and really made you feel completely comfortable. My anxiety subsided within the first few minutes there due to their compassion and WONDERFUL sense of humor.
They took SEVERAL xrays and determined that my pain was not from the wisdom tooth but from one that was decaying and I needed a root canal ASAP. They prescribed me some antibiotics and pain medication and within 2 days I was back for the dreaded root canal (which I have never had before). I was so nervous about it that I asked if I could have the nitrous oxide gas – and without hesistation they said «Of Course!». My last dentist absolutely REFUSED to give me any sedation whatsoever for even a tooth extraction.
There was a concern that I may lose this tooth completely, but Dr. Foster spent so much time on it and saved the tooth! The experience itself was not horrifying AT ALL. They kept me very comfortable and constantly asked if I was feeling OK. They held my hand during the more difficult parts (yes, they babied me, lol) but it was very relaxing to have that done. Throughout it all everyone is talking and laughing and including me, making me feel right at home. I got the very distinct feeling that I do not normally get at any doctor or dentist – these people actually CARE about their patients – it’s not just about the money. When I brought that up their answer was, «we are in healthCARE. Not healthcare, but health-CARE…meaning we DO CARE about our patients.»
I do not have dental insurance, however they have a plan that you can become a member of for $ 89 that actually saved me over $ 1000 on this entire procedure. In addition, they marked down some things a few hundred dollars more. They worked with me in allowing me to set up a payment plan that was reasonable and told me that if at any time I find myself stretched financially to let them know ahead of time and they can adjust the plan for that month. Wow.
So, if you are looking for a dentist and his/​her team that actually CARES, will work with you financially, and will give you TOP NOTCH healthcare – this IS THE PLACE TO GO. Dr. Foster is probably the best dentist I have ever been to, and his team of people are so endearing you will want to take them all home. if you have dental anxiety, such as I do, this is the place to go. They offer different types of sedation because they DO want you to have a pleasant experience. And I really appreciated that. They answer all of your questions and go above and beyond to explain exactly what is happening before, during, and after the procedures. There is not a single negative thing I can think of to even make a con for this review.
The best part – I NO LONGER HAVE TO FEAR GOING TO THE DENTIST!!! Dr. Foster, Mary, and the rest of your fabulous team who have such a positive dynamic with each other and your patients – you have had the most positive impact on me!!! I am SOOOOO glad I found you and I am more than grateful for everything you do!!! Do not stop anything that you are doing — it’s people like you that motivate others to take care of their dental health without being afraid.
