Five Star Automotive

My air conditioning broke while on a trip from South Carolina to Alabama. I stopped by Five Star Automotive based on my brother’s recommendation (he is from Lawrenceville).
I asked Scott if he could provide an oil change and check my air conditioning. Another auto shop told me that it would cost $ 120 to even diagnose the problem with my air conditioning. Scott checked my air conditioning while he did my oil change and told me that I would need a new fuse. Since my brother is a loyal customer, Scott included the fuse for free and charged $ 0 for diagnosis instead of $ 120.
He told me to keep an eye on the air conditioner because the problem seemed to be beyond the fuse but that the fuse would hold me until I got back to South Carolina.
On a trip to Charleston, my air conditioning broke again. I called Scott to ask for help. I was impressed that he remembered me and the work that he had done on my car. I told Scott that I was no longer in the Lawrenceville area but that I would still like advice on my car, and I found him to be extremely pleasant and helpful. He reexplained what he thought the problem to be and told me what I might need to get done on my car.
I have not run into many auto shops that are willing to provide help if they aren’t the ones to service your car and get the money. I found Five Star Automotive to be very helpful, honest, and friendly.
