My stay was great here. I stayed here because of attending an event at the Gwinnett Center arena. The hotel was easy to find and close to shops and restaurants.

Good hotel and location: it’s right across from the Sugarloaf Mills and many nearby restaurants. I’ve stayed here for two nights and the service is good. The Homewood Suites food(dinner, breakfast) is fairly standard fare for the chain, but decent(and included). They had a chicken BBQ dinner with potatoes one night and a fairly wide selection of pastries, eggs, sausage, waffles and fruit in the morning. The bed is quite comfortable and the bathroom(in 407 at least) was quite large and well lit. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. They were at full occupancy when I was here and the staff was quickly available and helpful. The only(minor) quirk of the hotel are the elevators. The banks are spread out and they are single elevators over five floors. So wait times can be long. The stairs are also a bit spread out and once I figured out the layout, I just used them instead. Access to I-85 is quick and easy and driving to Duluth, Athens or Atlanta is relatively easy from here(obviously longer times for Athens or Atlanta).

Hard to beat the value. Got the family suite which has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. King in one bedroom and 2 queens in the other. 3TV’s and small kitchen. Internet and breakfast included with free parking. Hilton property so good if you are Honors member.

One star wont make justice to such a horrible place! I was in town for business and my company messed up my reservation on my hotel, so I end up at this hotel. They check me in fast and I wont complain about that, the problem begun once I entered my room. Living in Florida and being used to the warmer temperatures in a 45 degrees night, I was looking was for the heater to warm up my room… ok well I set it up left the room 45 minutes. When I came back, the room was still cool as an Igloo. I called the front desk and I let them know, they said they were going to take a look in the morning since there was nobody available at the moment… Excuse me?! I was tired and so I decided just to leave it like that, then I asked for tooth paste they said it was 2 dollars to what I said ok charge it to my Credit Card and bring it to my room. What I got as an answer was incredible, the girl said we don’t have room service you have to come and get it so I did. The worst part comes the next day in the morning, when picking up my belongings I moved the sheet from the bed and I found bugs, come on! Are you serious?! So I went to the front desk they asked me for permission to checked my room to what I agree. I went to have breakfast to their restaurant and on my way back and ready to check out nobody said anything, I asked what was the verdict on the bug, and the guys who apparently was the manager in charge(and his name is Mark Burnes) said everything was ok gave me my receipt and said have a nice day! Apparently this hotel chain its part of the Hilton’s however their facilities and services do not represent such corporation. I would never stay at this hotel on this location or any other one around the states. I don’t recommend it stay away from it. Im pretty sure you can get a decent room for 165 dollar a night around the area.

Very nice and clean as expected. As a hilton person I prefer this hotel over the holiday inn which is right down the road. Here for 4 nights and will be back. Have 6 or so nights in this place in last two years and nothing ever bad Would not be afraid to bring my bride here at all. Two thumbs up and a snap from this guy!

Great hotel! I stayed for a week with my dog and we were both comfortable. First hotel my dog was at home in! Highly recommend for those with large breed dogs. My dog is 73 pounds but he was well behaved so they didn’t say anything.

My company put us up here for two weeks in mid October. The staff was very friendly, every day when we left for the day and returned they wished us a good day, and a welcome back so that was really great. The rooms are very large and they furniture is high quality. This place it well taken care of. I did have an issue with both of my room keys in getting back into the building after going to the gym outside. that is correct the gym is detached from the main building and is very small, but what is to be expected when at a hotel gym. There is a large Lifetime Facility right across that street that probably offers much better facilities if you want to pay the extra. Mon thru Thur they offer free dinners from 5 – 7, food is decent, mass produce, cafeteria style, but its comp’d. they also have free beer on tap and wine selection which is nice. the offer free breakfast 7 days a week that is similar to the cafeteria style dinners, but again is a nice perk that is harder to find that you would think. The location isn’t half bad, it is right near a decent size mall, literally right off the interstate, and pretty close to a huge mall just up the interstate a couple exits. If I were to return on business I would look to stay here again.

Beautiful hotel, the staff was warm and friendly and the prices were reasonable. I’ll definitely stay at a Homewood again.
