I went in to this salon right before Christmas to get a hair cut and I was so happy with the results and service from Christina that I went back a week later and got highlights. I am so happy with this salon and I will never go to another one. This ladies in this salon are very sweet and energetic. :-)

Never ever go here. I asked for ombré and they gave me a look that made it look like I had blonde hair and just let my hair grow out. (Horrible) I then told the lady I would. not pay for that until she fixed it and she simple did not care. I will never go back there and will not tell anyone else to.go.

Didn’t want to leave a mean review, so I’ll try my best to be nice yet honest. My friend and I found this salon through googling «Natural Hair Salons» and I called to verify that they were capable of working with various (ethnic) textures. They confirmed and scheduled my friend and I to have haircuts. We showed the stylist (which I will not name for sake of reputation out of the kindness of my heart) two photos each and explained important features we wanted from each and made it clear which of us would want which style. The stylist, however, gave my friend the hairstyle I wanted and completely butchered her cut (she wanted a long bang and my style had a very short one). Needless to say, we were not pleased. The style wasn’t the only issue. The cuts were very uneven and looked very amateur. The product she used dried out my friends hair. And when it was time for my haircut, she simply trimmed my ends and curled my hair and when I requested for it to be cut shorter (to at least resemble my desired image a LITTLE) I was told that it wouldn’t look right and that I should return at a later date because she had another «appointment». We later found out the appointment didn’t exist because, AFTER PAYING $ 58 DOLLARS EACH FOR A TRIM AND BUTCHERED CUT, they closed as soon as we walked out the door.
I felt really bad but didn’t say anything to spare the feelings of the very nice (at the time) staff.
My friend and I left, went to my home, and finished our cuts ourselves.
I called the following day to inform management of the situation and we were told that we could receive refunds only if we promised to «not come back», YES THESE WERE THE EXACT WORDS USED.
I was shocked but gladly accepted the offer. The staff and management could use some retraining — both with skills and customer care.
Very dissatisfied. Do not recommend. Will spread the word.

It was finally time for a haircut. I looked on Unilocal and this place had pretty good ratings.
I called and made an appointment and they were able to fit me in on the same day, which was really nice. There are several different locations.
It was pretty expensive just to get a hair cut. But the hairstylist that cut my hair was really nice and she cut my hair the way I wanted it. I’m glad this place does not try to push you to buy products like some places to.
They shampoo, condition, and cut your hair. And also style it afterwards. They also give you a a card to give as a reference and they give you a discount.

Very dissapointed. I had been going to this salon for about 1 year and very satisfied until my stylist had made a mistake with my extensions i wanted to wear at my wedding. first of all I had to approach her about the very obvious mistake instead of her coming to me. It seemed sneaky, like she was hoping I didn’t notice. Then after I spoke with her she said she would try to fix the problem and call me back. 6 months passed and heard nothing. It is now 1 month after my wedding and I have yet to hear from her. I felt like she was avoiding the issue and didn’t care about me as a client, which is surprising since I referred 2 new clients and always tipped generously. Needless to say it is now 1 month after the wedding and I have yet to hear a peep. I even saw their staff recently out in public and didn’t get as much as a head nod. I feel unimportant and not at all like a client likes to feel. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. All they care about is money.

The stylists have all been very good, but it’s way overpriced. When I started going, they routinely ran specials for $ 99 to $ 119 for cut/​color/​highlight. I had been going to one stylist exclusively, but she became a more senior stylist. She got an «assistant» who then did everything but the color and cut. I had to pay MORE to have a less experienced person working on my hair, so I stopped booking appointments with her. I went in two months ago because they were offering some free services, and I STILL spent $ 160!!! That was more than I’ve ever spent on a color session, so I’m grateful that some services were free or I would’ve had to hock my wedding ring to pay. You’ll like the way your hair looks, but be prepared to pay through the nose for it. I have found another salon that will do the same services for considerably cheaper.

Terrible experience! I wanted to like them so much. Moving to the area soon and I needed to find a colorist closer. I found Salon Disegno on Unilocal and chose them based on all the good reviews. That’s why I feel it so important to write this review so someone doesn’t make the same mistake I did. Went there about a month ago to get my hair colored. I asked to schedule my color with Cayla since there were so many good reviews about her specifically. For my first visit I showed C pics of me with my usual very blonde hair. My hair was overdue at the time and I wanted her to see how blonde it usually is. C seemed very capable and acted like she understood what I wanted. After she put the foils in my hair she disappeared and her student took over. Not very professional for my first visit but I’m laid back and didn’t think much of it. She never came out to check foils. When my hair was washed and the student started blow drying it, I knew it was WAY TOO DARK. I sat there calmly and thought maybe it would lighten up after it was dry and styled well. I was wrong. First off C’s student who was styling my hair had NO IDEA what she was doing. My hair has a bit of texture and I mentioned to her that it can be hard to straighten. She used a round brush but didn’t know how to work it! Then she left parts of it damp, never pulling out the flat iron and basically said «DONE.» My hair was a damp, frizzy, mess… not to mention the color was way darker then what I showed C. She didn’t even get close to the roots like a decent colorist. So here I am paying this «Senior» Colorist premium $ to color my hair… for the first time and she is no where to be found and has her very sweet, but inexperienced student styling it? Hello?! I was almost in tears and asked the young lady to get C b/​c I was not happy. I have a 6 mos old and it’s so hard to find the time to go to appointments. I couldn’t believe my luck. After 15 mins of scrambling around looking for Cayla (who was conducting an interview in the back btw), she appeared. I hadn’t seen her for the last hour of my appt. She apologized & agreed my hair was darker then I asked and also agreed that it was not styled properly. She offered to fix the color but I had to get home to take care of my baby so I rescheduled the «touch up» appointment for the next week and she restyled it. The style looked good, but I told her from now on I only wanted her to style my hair (that’s why I’m paying a senior stylist, right?) She said the only way was if I was her first or last appointment in the future (i.e. 9 a.m. or 3 p.m.). I said NP. Went back to get the color fixed. It was improved but still not very blonde. C agreed and said next time she would get it perfect. I ended up believing her and scheduled my next hair appointment in a month. Fast forward to today… I was supposed to have my hair done at 3. At some point this afternoon I missed a call from SD saying that C was not feeling well and needed to go home early. The front desk girl left the message and said she could reschedule my appointment for 3 tomorrow. I was frustrated and upset b/​c my schedule is so hectic and have a huge work trip coming up Tues. I’d been planning this appointment for a month and praying C would get it right. I even told her I was giving her a 2^nd chance. So I called the salon back and told the receptionist (who btw is EXTREMELY SNOTTY AND RUDE and is Cayla’s sister) that I wanted to go ahead and take the 3 tomorrow. Cayla doesn’t work Fri, Sun, or Mon and was booked Sat. The receptionist said «sorry, she’s has an appointment @ 3 tomorrow.» I said «then why did you leave me a vm saying she could reschedule me at 3 on Thurs???» No response. She then says «well, she can do 4:30 tomorrow» At this point I’m desperate and say ok. When I really want to run the other way but feel like I have no time. Then the she proceeds to tell me…“wait, I need to check with C b/​c she usually doesn’t start a color process at 4:30 and that might be too late for her.” HUH!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Where is the freaking customer service here? I asked her how long it would take her to check… thinking she’s going to call «sick» C at home to ask. She proceeds to tell me that it will only take a minute because Cayla was in a meeting in the back! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Why the heck is she in a salon meeting but cancels my hair appt because she’s sick? Needless to say I didn’t pick up when SD called back! Decided to go write this instead! DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! They are unprofessional and pretentious. They act like they are above styling their own customers hair and instead having their «students» do it. Fortunately I was able to get in with my regular colorist Kristin this wknd at DASS Perimeter. She does amazing blondes.

$ 63 FOR A HAIRCUT! This was my second time going. The first time they did a good job and it was a decent price.
This time I had about 12 inches cut off and the cut is fine but they use interns to style your hair after and the intern did not know what she was doing and then they charged me $ 63 FOR A HAIRCUT!!! On their website it says their top price for a haircut is only $ 58 yet somehow mine was $ 63. I asked about it and they just shrugged their shoulders and said «it will be $ 63.»
No washing no drying, just to cut my hair… And it was not an insane cut just a normal hair cut. OVERPRICED!!!

Posted a 5 star review when I first came here in July. I went back twice for a haircut and highlight. Each time the cost was pricier and pricier, and I was pitched several hair care products. Last time I went in I requested to have my hair several shades blonder, I even showed pictures. Somehow, I ended up walking out with Taylor Swift ash-​blonde hair (miscommunication much??) after an intern (yes an intern or student, I don’t know) was the one to apply a toner to my hair — she applied waaay too much and my hair was several shades darker than when I went in. I’m trying to decide if I want to give them another chance, but I’m not sure… how does one ask for bright blonde hair and walk out $ 200 poorer and with darker hair ??? Next time I’ll just use a box dye.
This place is good at first, but the use of students and interns to do your hair for huge prices is a bad idea. Every time I’ve been here it’s been a 2 – 3 hour affair as well — I don’t have that kind of time to get my hair done!

New to the areas and desperately needed my hair done. After stopping a woman with amazing hair that I saw at the mall, I made an appointment with Cayla. All I can say is WOW! The salon is adorable. All of the people there are super nice. Cayla was amazing! Sat down and asked me exactly what I wanted. Very personable. I felt completely comfortable and I have to say the best colorist that has ever done my hair. The cut was amazing and the shampoo was heaven. Left feeling like a Rockstar!

Went in for my first time last night. Rewind back 2 weeks. Im about to head out on a work trip. ran and got a quick cheap hair cut. BAD IDEA! I maybe get my hair cut a few times a year. The lady destroyed it :(cried for hrs. Didnt have time to get it fixed my flight left in less then 12 hrs. Got home a few days ago and my first goal was to fix this mess they call hair. Did some research found this location which is great cause i shop in that center all the time. Amanda was my stylist and she did a fabulous job! I left loving my cut & color. This is the first time in my 29 years that i have ever set up a second apt with someone. That right there shows my trust in her. THANKS AMANDA!

I have been a client of Salon Disegno for quite a few years and I will tell you that this is truly a salon that cares about the person IN the chair, not just about getting you in and out. No matter if it is for a cut, color, blowout, make-​up application, or picking up a product I run out of — I receive a friendly smile and a LOT of personality from the moment I walk out the door to my interactions prior and after my appointments.
Currently, Bailey is my stylist and one of my favorite qualities, as many of the stylists do, is LISTEN to you. I’ve recommended her to many friends who deal with «I get the same cut and can’t get my stylist to do something different.» If you want to think outside the box OR just stay classic she will help you find that even divide and you walk out feeling like you stepped out of a magazine.
Plus, the cut is designed around your face and head and hair type — even as my color fades and cut grows out, I don’t have that massive panic moment of wanting to hide under a hat or constantly pull my hair up or back «to get through to the next cut.» To me your investment in good hair is important, and Salon Disegno and Bailey never fail to take it all to EXCELLENCE.

My stylist was Christina. She was polite, friendly, and outgoing.
I just wanted a simple shampoo and straighten. She worked quickly and efficiently and explained to me all the products she was using and why she liked them.
At the end, I paid a fair price for what was done and I received a first-​time client box full of samples and a list of products that was used.
I would definitely come again.

My appointment started late, I got a shorter cut than I wanted and I left with wet hair. Wet hair! I thought my appointment included shampoo, cut and style, as it should for $ 43. I would give fewer stars, but the staff was very friendly which made the experience pleasant although the results were lackluster.

Megan highlighted and cut my hair. She did an awesome job! I’ve been jumping from salon to salon, but I’ve finally found a salon and stylist I can stick with! I definitely left happy! :)

Cayla is the best! She’s an outstanding stylist and colorist. I always leave feeling taken care of and beautiful! This is a great salon; I’ve been coming here for about 3 years and I’ve always been pleased with their professionalism, care, and talent. Well done!

Salon Disgeno has been a supporter of our Charity Tennis Tournament for a couple of years — so I wanted to try them. On an impulse — I just walked in with no appointment and was happy that they were able to take me immediately. Jacelyn was so nice and did a great job on my hair. I have another appointment this week to get my haircut again!

So after sporting long hair and a pony tail for almost eight years, it was time to say «good-​bye.»
Becky had the pleasure of removing all of my locks or most of them. I attempted to give her an idea of what I was looking for and she ran with it. In just a little bit of time, I was donning my new do. I’m very pleased with it.
The place is clean and tidy. When I sat in the chair, I was happy to see another guy there too, even an older gentleman. So if you’re wondering, it’s cool if any of you guys out there want to visit here too.
I found this place after doing only a quick search on Google for highly rated salons in the area. It seems somehow this place has managed 5 stars on every site they are listed on. I understand why now.
I was greeted promptly walking in. Offered a drink and then away we went. They set up your next appointment for you before you leave. Brilliant.

I had been going to DASS at the Mall of GA for years– almost 7. I still love Stacie and think she is an exceptional stylist and cuts my hair better than almost anyone, but the constant turnover in colorists, the absolute downgrade in staff and hassle to book coordinating appointments was just too much for me anymore. I’m a business professional who travels and works 80 – 100 weeks; I have enough trouble with my own schedule.
I have very thick, naturally wavy and curly hair, so I’m VERY picky about who cuts it. I did some research, and found some great feedback on Salon DiSegno. They were able to get me in that July weekend a year ago, and I couldn’t be happier. Professional, exceptional cuts and the best color I’ve ever had in my life. They don’t shove product on you, and booking is easy!
I can’t recommend this place enough. They have a wonderful referral program, and if you sign up for emails, you get some truly spectacular specials, They use Redken products and colors, including Pureology.
It can be pricey when you get up to the highest tiers of stylist, but you get what you pay for!
