Sweet Tooth Ice Cream Cafe

I had a taste of the pistachio almond, and that was quite good. They were down to the very bottom of the bucket, and let me have the free sample, but they didn’t have enough left for me to buy some.
SO, I opted to get a double cup of the Pralines and Cream with hot fudge to share with my husband. The flavor of the pralines and cream was a bit. shall we say, «odd»? It didn’t taste like any other pralines and cream I’ve ever had. It was very creamy, but didn’t really taste like pralines and cream to me. I wouldn’t say the flavor was bad, just so different and unexpected for pralines and cream that it was not enjoyable to me.
The ice cream was very soft, almost runny. The woman paying at the counter before me had gotten some and left the store. While I was paying, she came back in to say she couldn’t eat it because it was too runny and wanted to get something else, so I don’t know if this was just a bad day for pralines and cream, since it was my first visit there.
My primary complaint is that I paid $ 4.97 for a double scoop cup, and the cup was maybe. ²⁄₃ full? It was expensive, the portion was much smaller than double scoops at our regular place, and we didn’t really end up enjoying it because of the portion and flavor… although, I guess having a small portion of something that you’re not enjoying all that much isn’t a bad thing! HA HA!
I did like the flavor of the pistachio almond well enough that I might give the Sweet Tooth a second chance at some later date. We’ll see. not inclined to go back any time soon.

This is a great parlor. I sampled several amazing flavors before settling upon a cup of the rich creamy coffee ice cream. I will definitely be back, and I will definitely spread the word. Just one last thing, while i was there two little kids came in and ordered, the owner actually knew what they wanted, down to the details of the type of cone, but the cherry on the top for me, was when the kids made it to the register they were a bit short on cash, which he quickly overlooked with a smile.

I’ve come in here two times. The first was last August. I had just left the movies (I saw Straight Outta Compton if you were curious) and decided to drive through Downtown Lawrenceville on my way home. This place seemed cute and empty so I went in. I instantly noticed the space. I thought it’d be good enough for a few friends to sit around and talk while partaking in a sweet treat. I ordered a birthday cake milkshake which wasn’t bad but a bit milky. The second time I ordered ice cream which was good because ice cream. Don’t ask what flavor. I noticed though, that besides the traditional flavors they have flavors like chai and other non-​conventional flavors. The staff is always nice too. They seem bored due to probably non-​peak season traffic. I’d return and urge you to do so too.

What better way to walk the Lawrenceville square than with a scoop or two of ice cream? Sweet Tooth Ice Cream café is a nice little addition to downtown Lawrenceville. It’s a fairly spacious store with only a handful of tables, almost promoting you to eat and walk, not a bad thing!
I tried samples of both the praline pecan and butter pecan. Praline almost always wins, but wow, that was some good butter pecan! I got myself 1 scoop in a cup, which rings in at about $ 1.95, and It didn’t even have time to melt it was gone so fast.
I was a bit worried about the store in general, because I was the only one besides the owner when I came in on a random weekday afternoon, but I was told that most of their business picks up in the evening, and I hope so, because I don’t want to have to worry about them, considering how tasty their flavors were!
Parking for Sweet Tooth can be tight, but don’t worry, because there’s a free parking garage literally right across the street.

Try the coffee float. Wouldn’t of thought of it myself. Coffee + ice cream+ caramel + whip cream. It’s really good

Just a quick review. We stopped by here for a quick visit as my friend and I were walking in Historic Lawrenceville looking for a donut shop we never found haha. We got a small cup of raspberry chip ice cream, it was creamy and sweet. All the flavors looked great and the guy at the counter was very friendly. For such a quick visit I felt like it was a nice little experience.

So BAE and his bromance went here on a brodate, drawn in by the alluring mustache logo that they have on their cups and around the shoppe. The space itself is awesome. It’s big, open, clean and neat. Would make a great place for a children’s party bc it has just THAT much room. I believe the owner said he’d allow outside cake and snacks as well.
They’re open on Sundays when everything else on Main St Lawrenceville is closed, so he’s got me there. On a random after church stroll, we had us some good ice cream and laughs while watching football. The owner is very nice and allowed us to sample the plethora of flavors and then there was such a long lost of toppings that one could have. They also sell malts, shakes and cake pops, which were 99c

LOVE, love, love this ice cream. It is the creamiest and most delicious. Interesting flavors like Raspberry Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin (seasonal), the very best Pralines and Cream and more. It is a cute store; in a very clean environment. Also, really good coffee (and a coffee float).

Great ice cream in a perfect location right on the Lawrenceville square. Lots of really unique flavors like banana pudding and salted caramel. Pralines and cream was also amazing. The owner is really friendly, too. He sources the ice cream from an Atlanta creamery that’s been around about 50 years so it’s really good stuff. Give this place your business. We need more locally-​owned places like it.

Excellent ice cream parlor in Downtown Lawrenceville! Great flavors, great service, and friendly décor. Plus, very fair prices. All in all, I’m not sure what else you could look for!
