Quality Inn

Quality? I think not. The place was old and dingy and it seemed like everything was falling apart. The room was tiny, the bathroom was gross, the carpet was gross, the air conditioner was horribly loud and kept us up all night. Breakfast wasn’t bad but the room it was served in was tiny for the amount of people trying to eat. You couldn’t pay me to stay here again.

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Cockroaches… Gross. I’ve worked at hotels before, it was like the last person to clean the room didn’t put any effort to actually cleaning it. Towels were missing, the floors were dirty. C’mon, this isn’t quality. And the lady at the front desk looked like she hated her job, I would too if I were her.

Terrible hotel. Ridiculous pet fee, awful customer service, and my room smelled like a mix of mold and cigarettes. I would recommend for you to stay as far away as possible.

BED BUGS. Need I say more?
Ok. Carpet was dirty, flies, light fixtures hanging out in bathroom, BED BUGS, broken tv, useless front desk. Also bedbugs.

Horrible experience!
Was filthy and full of flies! No microwave and refrigerator (as advertised). Two of the four lamps in the room were broken. TV was old… remote didn’t work and you couldn’t change channels or volume. Carpet was absolutely disgusting ! Went to breakfast at 8 am and there was nothing there! One biscuit… no gravy ! Will never ever stay again!!! False advertising!

This hotel is way underrated. I gave it 5 based on quality vs price. Room was on the larger size. Immaculately clean. Flat screen TV. I didn’t do the breakfast but looked above average. Linen was clean and crisp. Front desk staff very professional My new favorite cheap hotel in Lawton

Came to Lawton, OK as my son was graduating from Basic Training at Ft. Sill. Stayed at the Quality Inn for 5 nights.
This was not a 5* resort based on how hotel reviews are typically rated. The facility is older, the a/​c unit was not able to actually cool the room but instead functioned better as a window dehumidifier, and the toilet was only attached to the ground by 1 bolt and caulking. Having said that, I desperately want to give it a «Yelp 5*» rating based on the following:
Value: All hotels seem overpriced in Lawton, but this was the most reasonable
Breakfast: Included. Not some lame muffin and pack of Sanka, but an actual hot breakfast. Every day they have the Belgium waffle maker available, hard boiled eggs, danish, bagel and toast. They would then alternate between Biscuits/​Sausage patties, Biscuits/​Country Gravy, Omelet/​Sausage patties in the warming area. They also have orange juice, apple juice, tea and coffee (including decaf) — even have International Delight creamers
Service: Donald who worked the desk at check-​in (overnight, around 1am) was extremely welcoming, and a pleasure to deal with, even after being exhausted from flying from CA and driving down from Oklahoma City. The lady (very disappointed that I never got her name) who was in charge of the breakfast area was very friendly. Every morning she greeted us with a sincere smile, and was constantly replenishing the supplies even before they were empty. She even made a few calls to check into a personal inquiry from me (I was on the hunt for authentic Oklahoma Onion Burgers), and although she wasn’t successful, the fact that she made the effort was appreciated.
Unless my son gets stationed back at Ft Sill in the future it is unlikely that I will have an opportunity to return to the area, if circumstances should ever require it, the Quality Inn is the only place I will consider staying.

True. I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay a few nights in Lawton. For the price they charge, I was not very impressed. When I entered the room, the plastic cover was hanging almost off the wall heater/​AC unit. I could barely get it back on. The unit was also so loud that when I watched a tv program at one volume, I could not hear the tv at all when the heater came on. I could only get WiFi in one spot in my room and I had to be right next to the window. When I was in the bath tub, you could see a whole line of deteriorating caulk at the bottom of the tub surround. The water faucet handles looked about 40 years old. I will say that I saw no bugs of any sort anywhere. There was a microwave and a little refrigerator that were in good shape. For the regular price of the room, I feel I probably could have found a better place to stay in town. However, I got the AARP rate, which was about 20 bucks a night cheaper, and I still think I could have found a better place.

Please don’t stay here! If you have stayed here, please write a review. We had 4 rooms filled in all areas of the motel. All of them smelled like smoke. I see that they smelled like smoke 4 years ago in other reviews and nothing has been done about it.
The hot water went out first thing in the morning and didn’t come back for hours.
There were stains on the bedding.
There was some trash on the floor when we arrived.
The laundry room was filthy, and the drier, although it produced an adequate amount of heat, didn’t dry clothes. It obviously had a air circulation problem.
This place is near an Army basic training post and is pretty much guaranteed to fill up each week. It is clear that because they have this guarantee, they do not care or intend to do anything about hoe disgusting it is.
Bottom line is, It is not «Quality» nor is it an «Inn». At best, it is a flea bitten gross «Motel» that has been let go and nobody from the owners to the branded «Choice Hotels» cares one bit.

I think someone at the Quality Inn has taken poor reviews to heart. There aren’t a lot of things to do to this place to make it much nicer, but I had no issues with cleanliness during my stay. The room was quite clean. It did, however, smell like smoke. I did not ask for a room change because I like where my room was situated in the hotel. My car was not visible to the street and I was worried about it being vandalized. Lawton is a rough town and I’m not kidding when I say that I had a loaded gun in the QI and now it’s in my house. I wouldn’t stay here again if I had a choice about it, but it was clean so I’d stay here again if I had to.

The Quality Inn is Awful. I recently stayed at this particular QI and had a terrible stay. The QI is located next door to a Red Lobster who’s parking lot faces the room doors at the QI. During my stay RL decided to have a little work done to their parking lot. Workers typically worked the evening hours as to not disturb the restaurant patrons during the day but sure hell disturbing the QI residents. I brought this complaint to the attention of the QI Manager and was met with a «Oh, I spoke with the folks at RL and let them know that our guests are complaining about the noise». The RL should have at least offered the QI guest a complimentary 15=20% discount for the inconvenience incurred.
The housekeeping crew was as diligent as a UN peacekeeper in Bosnia. I shared my room with the same dead cockroach for 3 days straight. I finally had enough and asked the front desk to kindly remind the housekeeping crew that vacuuming the rooms daily is a to-​do item on their daily agenda.
I repeatedly asked for wake up calls and never received them. I would have set the alarm on the radio/​CLOCK except for the fact that THERE WAS NO RADIO/​CLOCK IN MY ROOM.
Right now you might be saying to yourself «Why the hell didn’t he just C/​O and C/​I to another hotel?» and I would have done that but there were no rooms available anywhere else due to the fact that neighboring Fort Sill conducts Basic Training graduations every week and thus creating a strain on the local hotels with families and friends in town to attend the graduations.
Bottom Line: Unless a drastic change occurs within their day to day operations I would choose other lodging that is available.
