Dartside

I have only been there the one time but it was a blast! I went there for a work party and we all ended up leaving with a huge smile on our faces! Will totally go back :)

My family & I have been to Dartside multiple times and LOVE it! Its so much fun for all ages. My 9 year old son had his birthday party, which was a total hit! All the boys & girls were laughing and having a great time! I’ve also been to Dartside with many adults and that is hilarious and we all felt like we were ninjas running around. Ha! I highly recommend this place! The owner Jeremy is one of the nicest guys you’ll meet. We have enjoyed Dartside every time we’ve been there — day, night, blacklight weekends… its a blast!

Unfortunately Terras review below is correct. We came in as a group but there were adults from different households and different families with us and they wouldn’t let us use 2 coupons for our group even though our coupons were for 6 people and there was only 5 of us. We were even losing value in our coupon and the lady was rude cause we wanted to combine two 3 person deals. She finally went and got one of the guys and he decided to let us do it, but it was such a hassle and totally ruined the mood. This was in March and we haven’t been back since. Before that we had gone twice. Those experiences were better cause we had the place mostly to ourselves. When we were there with other groups, there was a lot of cheating and the refs weren’t doing a very good job. The arena is just a bunch of cardboard boxes taped together to hide behind. They make you wear glasses and if you get into it, you will be sweating and they will fog up bad. The first time I went my gun clogged up a lot but on the second trip this wasn’t a problem. If i had to pay the $ 10 a person to go, I would never return. That’s way too much money per person for this especially as a family.

We went here for my sons birthday party. There were 8 of us. The boys were 9 years old along with an 8 year old and a 40 year old. Anyway I was not expecting much from this place so my expectations were low but I loved it, so much fun.
I thought the guns were going to be the kind that shot the long pointy darts, but I was wrong. Apparently Nerf makes guns that shoot disks. They go quite far too. They have disks spread throughout the floor so you just pick them up and shoot them. We used the single shot guns and had a blast but I think for more money you can upgrade to and auto guns.
My kids have talked about this place a lot and we look forward to going again. We liked this better than laser tag too.
My only complaint is the room is pretty small so I can’t imagine having more than 10 people in the room, or it would get quite crowded. I think a bigger space would make it even funner.
I also liked how the games were fairly fast so if you got out you would only be out for a few minutes.

I’ve been to this location several times and have always found it to be clean and the owner hospitable and friendly. we just had my nephews 6 the birthday party here and not only was it fun and innovative environment but we are also made to feel welcome and catered to. I’m not quite sure what the previous Unilocaler had about not being able to use a coupon but quite frankly the pricing is low enough that I wouldn’t think that would be an issue. I highly recommend checking out this beyond the norm experience for something fun active and family-​friendly

I will NEVER go to Dartside in Layton again. Tried to use two groupons that I bought that said you could use one per person. When we got there the lady said it was one per group. We used it before the last time we came and she was completely rude to us. Horrible customer relations for sure. We WERE going to have my sons birthday there. Not anymore. Very disappointed right now.

Great place. I’m literally writing this review while playing. So much fun, great family activity.
