Don’t believe the turn around story about this company (now called Mighty Septic Solutions). The owner, Michael Bridgestock, talked a good game when our contract was up for renewal and so I gave him a shot… unfortunately it turns out he has no integrity. He hasn’t fulfilled their duties, repaired equipment they broke, and basically just stopped responding to all attempts to contact them. Avoid them and save your money.

I want to step in her and compliment the MD septic team on their focus on turning around their business. A few months ago they called me and assured me that things were changing and they were changing management, etc. I was surprised a little because I didn’t really have a bad experience with them but have seen the reviews now on Unilocal and understand where they were coming from I can tell you they respond immediately and have been helpful to me. Their tech Thor is a real nice guy and very helpful and responsive. Keep up the good work MD Septic team, things are on the right track!

And if by chance you were under contract with MD Septic before it all went to hell in a handbasket (it became Kirks)— you are really out of luck. Because he couldn’t seem to actually show up for the every other month clean out inspections of our septic, we had to fire him. We have been trying to get the rest of the money on our contract back. We sent the certified return receipt requested letter as the contract requested and it was returned unopened. We have involved the BBB and they can’t get a response. We used this company for 4 – 5 years. I will have to say that it USED to be a good company when Mike owned it. It is now CRAP. DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON!!! You will be sorry!

Kirk says he has taken over MD Septic for his dad, giving the impression he is licensed to do septic inspections and installations. That is not the case. He was hired to install a sepic system and told us it would take 2 weeks once the county approved the plan. The plan was approved Feb. 4, 2014 and as of today, March 5^th, he still has yet to pass the first inspection. After 2 weeks he told us he had passed the 1^st inspection, but that was not true. I called Hays County to check on the status and was told he failed the 1^st inspection due to the drain field not being level, in fact it was 1 foot off and the inspector said his work was shoddy. Soon after that I learned that Kirk was not licensed to install septic systems so he was bringing in someone who was licensed to be there for the inspection. He shows up late and makes mistakes that someone who has been in this business as many years as he has been should not be making. Do not hire him!

Not only did Kirk, the sole proprieter of MD Septic, show up 4 hours late, he showed up drunk. But his review and follow up of the septic situation was sound. I hired him to do the work at $ 350, and offered him $ 95 for his time to come over. That was the beginning of a nightmare. He proceeded to decide to move the electricals to a different place under my deck (he’s not an electrician), cut a hole in my deck, and leave the hole and the new electrical box. In the process, he cut out all the electricals going from outside into the house. When he had to come by and fix the mistakes, he went into my house without approval, attempted to ‘fix’ my ‘broken’ A/​C (out, only because there was no electricity to it), then removed some boards from the deck, painted new ones in some horrid color and splashed some of the paint around to other boards on the deck, and then sent me a bill for the electrical system, an inspection, and for fixing the A/​C!!! So he ended up trying to charge me $ 600 more than we agreed on, and I now have a deck that needs thousands of dollars worth of work. Do not use this guy. Horrid. Just horrid. He was not asked to do all the work he did, was not licensed to do it, left messes that will cost thousands, and then charged me for it all.
