We actually popped into this place during Octoberfest 2015. It was super busy and crowded, but the smell was amazing, the customer service was friendly and helpful, and even with no room to breathe everyone in the place was happy and cheerful.
The items we purchased made a great snack that evening, and were fresh and tasty. Cant wait to come back here on a non-​celebration weekend and have the luxury of just hanging out and seeing what else they have to offer that I may have missed during the time I was there.

This is the type of place that makes Leavenworth special. This is a must stop in place! Why? Samples samples samples, friendly service friendly service friendly service! They want you to try everything and are so proud of their product. Every town should have a place like this down the street. I wish! I truly recommend stopping here when going through Leavenworth you won’t be sorry! You will leave with lots of meat!

Super kind service! Everyone that I chatted with at the shop was friendly, welcoming and willing to share their own personal favorites, recommendations. What was really great is that, I’m a bit of a novice when it comes to how meat curing works. But I loved that when I had questions about the process, everyone at Cured seemed so genuinely willing to teach! Awesome!
If this wasnt enough, the meat is also amazing. We left with tons of prosciutto, salami and wursts to take home and with the helpful staff’s suggestions, they lasted and remained delicious!
Great overall experience

These guys that work here know what they’re talking about! I was recommended to stop here by my boyfriend who came previously and brought me some buckboard bacon and garlic salami for my salads. The buckboard bacon is AMAZING I must say. This was place in person was even better than I imagined.
I went in and they have dishes upon dishes of samples. If you don’t see a sample, you can certain ask them for one! I wanted to try the buckboard again and they gave us a huge slice of it. Whoaaaa, talk about generous. They have all kinds of cured meats and spices along the walls. I didn’t get a chance to check out everything but they have meats ranging from jerky, to salami, sausages, pepperoni sticks you name it. Fair prices too! This will definitely be a permanent stop on my Leavenworth trips.

Delicious sausage! My favorite is chicken apple but they have so many flavors for you to choose from… Not too expensive but if you wanted to try some before you bought and they didn’t have samplers out then you will hv to pay a lot at the sausage garden next to it … So minus one star for that ;(otherwise I love it here!

If there’s a heaven, it better have a great cured meat selection like this lil slice of Leavenworth heaven.
The selection is unreal, I’ve been able to experience cured meats you only see on the TV. I miss growing up in an area that sever amazing Italian sammiches with capicola ham. I tasted speck, prosciutto for the first time.
You can order in smaller amounts so don’t get intimidated with the price per pound. I purchased three selections and was under $ 20.00 you have to try the cured pork belly bacon! It’s tasty, well developed profile with ample tasting possibilities for the meat novice to seasoned meathead.

I wanted EVERYTHING! There were a bunch of samples out already, it was delicious and super high quality!
The staff at Cured were very friendly and knowledgeable. If you want to try anything… and I mean anything (I think) in the case, they will cut you a little piece to try!
I am mostly disappointed that not all their selections are made in-​house. The other disappointment is the price point. They are a little more expensive, but they are, again, quality!
Sad that I did not buy the bacon…
Can’t wait to come back! Oh yeah, they also give you an ice pack! Woot!
