Opened In 1927 by Fritz Plapp, at current location since 1969. 4th Generation Locally Owned. KC’s Oldest Smokehouse. USDA inspected and ships nationwide. Family recipes dating back to Germany 1917, still used. A decision to uphold Quality instead of cheap fillers and short cuts, Fritz’s family still holds true to those values.

His passion to deliver new and unique taste with insuring that old world qualities are still there. Protecting recipes that originated with the family from German Master Sausage Maker Fritz dating back to 1917. Proud Owner of KC’s Oldest USDA Inspected Smokehouse.
