We wanted to make Beneath the Tree our first stop in Lebanon on Sunday as my mom says that she has found quite a few cool gift items there in the past. Unfortunately, as we drove down the strip looking for a spot we noticed that an ambulance and a firetruck were parked outside of the store and that paramedics were blocking the entrance. Yikes! We shopped around for awhile before the ambulance had cleared and then were able to enter the shop, where the workers looked pretty shook up. They assured us that everything was okay and then turned all business, showing us the sale items and asking if they could help us find anything. My mom was right, Beneath the Tree offers a lot of cool gift items, wine holders I’d definitely consider buying for friends as well as a selection of really cool kitschy magnets. They were having a sale on the day we stopped in on fragrance lamps…30% off the lamps plus you get your first fragrance free! We didn’t take part in the deal though a lady that came in after us did. I found quite a few neat picture frames and my mom found a golf themed birdbath that would be perfect in our yard. Beneath the Tree also offers quite an array of Christmas ornaments, despite the season not being for another 5 ½ months.
