I suppose in the context of Lebanon missouri, this is good Chinese food. In a larger city, this place would be overlooked as one of any mediocre take out places. I went at lunch time on a week day. Every table was busy. The lunch special IS a very good deal. Soup, appetizer, and meal for about 6 bucks. The soup and egg roll were average. The generals chicken was below average. The chicken was like something from kfc, it tasted like american fried chicken. The sauce was thick and sweet. It tasted artificial and factory made. If you have a hankering for Chinese as you’re driving through Lebanon and you’re on a tight budget, this might be your place.

This place has really good Chinese. After Gourmet House closed down there were no other decent places in town. I kept hearing how good this place was, so during a time when I was dying for Chinese I decided to give it a try. I’ll definitely be eating here again. *UPDATE*. I had to lower a star because it seems that this place is only open randomly. I’ve gone here multiple times during their normal business hour and found them to be closed. Even the hours on the door showed them to be open.

The food here is excellent. Very tasty. All but 1 time everything was perfect, as it was ordered. I am a vegan. No animal products. This means no meat, no dairy, no eggs. Usually they get my veggie order with no eggs perfect. We ordered me veggie noodles and I got very sick that night and the next few days. I thought I had a stomach flu. I had my leftovers in the fridge and my husband went to eat them a few days later and noticed tiny little pieces of chicken mixed in. Needless to say, since I haven’t eaten meat in so long my body didn’t react well to it. So. If you do visit Chi Time — carefully inspect your food. I don’t want anyone else getting sick because of an error like that.

Chi Time is certainly a GREAT place for oriental food. We’ve been eating here for years, and have no problems recommending it for others.

This is by far my favorite oriental food in the area, and beats most I’ve had anywhere else. The only thing it’s lacking, in my opinion, is a Mongolian BBQ station. This is a small, hometown establishment. Always friendly service and great food. I recommend their spicy cashew chicken(it truly is a little on the spicy side), the general chicken(if you want some veggies) or the combo fried rice(my personal favorite). The portions are HUGE. Expect to pay about $ 7-$ 8 for dinner entrees, with lunch portions available for around $ 5-$ 6.
