We manufacture chocolate candies. Our specialties are Texas Tortoise (caramel and pecans covered in chocolate; Texas Pecan Toffee and Almond Toffee. We make over 150 different varieties of chocolates and ship continental U.S.

History

Established in 1986.

The Golden Turtle Chocolate Factory started in Lebanon, Ohio in 1988. We studied candy making for two years, attending universities and taking food science courses.

Meet the Manager

Joy K.

Manager

Born June 19, 1943. Attended Tecumseh High School, Sinclair College, University of Wisconsin. Sold Greek pastries at WPAFB, Managed and owned apartment house and house. Had a Greenhouse and Nursery in Grand Junction, Colorado for 13 years. In 1986 started studying the candy business. Opened kiosk in Grand Junction, Colorado in 1987 under the name Joy’s Candies. Moved to Lebanon, Ohio in 1988 and established The Golden Turtle Chocolate Factory at 120 South Broadway.
