Black Rabbit Doula Services is a collective of doulas offering the full spectrum of support services to pregnant, laboring and postpartum women and their partners. All of our doulas are ProDoula trained, insured and committed to providing non-​judgmental support to Kansas City families.

History

Established in 2013.

Our practice has evolved from a single doula to the collective we are today. We’ve shaken things up by taking the traditional model of care combined with the quality that can often be found in the agency model, and developed a new way of doing things which better serves the doulas (and massage therapists, and lactation consultants, and chiropractors. Oh my!) and, more importantly, it better serves you and your family. Our unique model allows us to give you an array of options in order to meet your individual needs and create the experience you desire.

Business Owner

As a labor doula, Jessica serves pregnant women (and their partners) who crave a supportive, personalized experience when bringing their new baby into the world. She helps them have more comfortable and satisfying labors so they can focus on what they really want: meeting their precious newborn.

As a doula, Rachel’s heartfelt genuinity allows her to bounce between still compassion and joyful enthusiasm with ease. She has a way of knowing just the right time to speak words of encouragement as well as the moments when silence is best. Her presence in the most tender moments of a woman’s life brings a grounded confidence to the space. Her congenial and adaptable personality makes her a lovely fit for families of various backgrounds.
