Dr. Steven Irwin decided to go into dentistry because of his love of being creative and working with his hands. He was accepted into UMKC Dental School in 1980 and graduated in 1984. In 1985, after working with a great dentist for a year, he opened his own practice and by 1989 he was ready to build his own building across the street and designed it to be more patient friendly. In 1989 he married his wife Susie and had a beautiful baby girl, Sarah. They then had their second daughter in 1990 and soon after their 3^rd daughter in 1992. By 1999 they were busy with school activities and decided to move the office closer to home. Dr. Irwin built two buildings in Lee’s Summit in 2001. One for his practice and one that is rented to an Orthodontist and an accountant. He could now attend his girls school activities and work in a state of the art dental facility that was close to home. Our office is a friendly, comfortable place for you and your family and look forward to seeing you soon
