Located inside the Holiday Inn at Carradoc Hall is 3 Oaks Restaurant. This place is only open for breakfast and dinner.
We decided to give this place a try for their breakfast buffet. If you want to go out for breakfast on the weekend, it’s kind of hard because everybody is out. There are only two places that are not crowed and those are this place and Anita’s. This is the only buffet I’m aware of in Leesburg. Now the food at this place is average. The have the basics, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, sausage gravy and biscuits, oatmeal, Belgium waffles, fruit, yogurt, pastries, cereal, and toast. I might have missed something. The restaurant is actually pretty small inside less than 20 tables all jammed packed. Less than half of the place was full when we go there. Now everything was self service except for the drinks. The waiter had to bring this to you. It appeared that there was only one person to wait on the entire place. So there was hardily any service. We got our coffee, orange juice, and water. That was the last we saw of our waiter. A few times I got up and I couldn’t even find him. There were no plates so people had to eat off of the small cold fruit plates, there were no potatoes out. From what was out there, it was hot, so I’m not going to complain there. Taste wise, it’s what you would expect from a typical breakfast buffet nothing too exciting. Then trying to get or bill. I think all in all it was about 10 minutes later I found the waiter, I had to camp out by the door to the back to find him.
All in all, if you absolutely have to eat breakfast out on the weekend, and every place is full, go here. It’s only 12 bucks for adults. The do have a breakfast menu you can order off of. I’d suggest the buffet, ask for double drinks and the bill right away. Then you should be o.k. Other wise to go Anita’s for their breakfast. I know it sounds weird, but the do have a regular breakfast menu =)
