Established in 2006.

Casey has worked in the customer service industry his entire life, working at his family’s auto repair shop as a certified repair technician while working his way up to management. In 2006 Casey decided to open his own termite and pest control company «Loudoun Lawn & Pest Mgt.» With the business ethics and values he has learned from his father he has been able to show continued growth and expand his business greatly with the addition of well qualified tecnicians and a service manager with over 21 years in the pest control industry.

I have had nothing but bad experiences with this company. I hired them first week of December to do some work. Jesper, the tech that was assigned to me, appeared sincere and honest. I paid for the whole year inspection and he was supposed to come back in 2 weeks. That was a no call no show. I called and left messages. I finally got a call back and they said they will call to reschedule. Never got that call either. Someone showed up after my call without calling or making appointment «to finish the work» and I was not home. We are in February now and I have yet to year from them. I will not do business with this company anymore.

The Loudoun Lawn and Pest service technician, Sean just left my home, and I must say, the service was fantastic.
I called yesterday evening after being traumatized by catching my 8th mouse (first one on a sticky tap). I called after hours and left a voicemail message asking for a call back about my issues; my phone rang at 7:50am this morning letting me know that if I was able, the service tech would be at my house between 9 and 10. The tech pulled in at 9:15 and after a quick discussion about what I’d been experiencing, the tech located the entry point in under 10 minutes. There was no sales pitch about everything they could do to my home to keep it mouse free, no talking down to me about what I didn’t know about pest control — after a mutual conversation about the best way to handle the issue (fill the entry point with foam), I was told that because he was certain that’s where the entry point was, he would fill it for free rather than jumping into a $ 300-​$ 400 service plan understanding that I could call back if his fix didn’t solve my problem. I was astounded and very happy that he would offer that service for free, but I couldn’t let him do that — I ended up signing a quarterly contract that not only deals with bugs, but also mice. He fulfilled my first interior and exterior spray before leaving this morning. I couldn’t be happier with Sean’s knowledge and fantastic customer service and would recommend Loudoun Lawn and Pest to anyone needing their services.

Update: Today was my second visit (the day they came to do the work they promised from the initial consultation).
This time John (I think?) came and…
*On Time!
*Professional & Answered my redundant questions
*Sealed entry points and Placed outdoor deterrent
*Removed cobwebs from the back of house
*Sprayed for bugs (even though my request was for rodents, this was a PLUS)
I will say again… so far professional, timely and thorough. I will report back in 3 months to see if «it did the trick».

Last spring I had a problem with birds nesting in my vents. I asked them to put covers on all the vents, but Casey wouldn’t put a cover on the dryer vent, saying it was a fire hazard. I was concerned the birds would eventual nest there, and he said to call him and he would come out for a reduced rate. He was not very friendly, and especially irritated by my questions and when discussing what the cost of service would be.
This spring the birds came back to nest in the dryer vent as I figured they would. I debated whether to call Casey since he wasn’t very nice, but thought what the heck, I’ll give him a second chance since he promised a reduced rate, and maybe one of his nicer employees will come out instead of him. Well Casey came out and I got another dose of his unpleasantness when I tried to remind him of the discounted rate. He got real snippy with me, looked over my shoulder into my house saying something about if my husband was home.
I stood there thinking should I say something to this man about how rude he is and send him on his way, or let it slide and just get the vent covered? I chose to bite my tongue and get the vent covered. When I couldn’t understand what kind of special vent he would be installing that would be something that I could open to clean out, but the birds couldn’t, he got irritated again and made a comment to his employee that I am having a hard time understanding. Apparently he thought even though I’m not a vent cleaner, I’m suppose to know about the different types of vent covers. And why didn’t he offer this cover to me the first time he came out, instead of insisting it was a fire hazard and that I shouldn’t cover it at all?
He did get the job done, but I’m not sure how $ 75 for one vent is a discounted rate. If there’s a next time, I hope to use a company owned by someone who strives to make their customers happy, without getting snippy.

I apologize for the late review. I made call right before Thanksgiving. I was frantic what we had found, and after having another bad experience with another company that didn’t quite fix the issue, I was beyond frustrated. So I called this company, Casey and John came out and thoroughly inspected my place, took their time, fixed my issue. needless to say, John and Casey are very friendly, honest and helpful and the price was right in my budget compared to some other companies. I haven’t had any issues since; I hope I never do. However, if I do run into another issue I would definitely would call them in the future and would definitely recommend this company.

I called because we have a problem with a skunk outside our house. I called and spoke to him and he set up a appointment for Friday in the morning. The guy came out to see and he didn’t even know he was coming out to look for a skunk. I was surprised that they do not communicate with each other. And since the guy said he did not know we had a problem with a skunk he was not prepared and didn’t have anything (such as a cage or materials to catch the skunk). He said he was going to call his boss and find out what he can do next. I said okay and to please let me know if he is coming back again today or if he will be coming back tomorrow (Saturday). I went inside my house to wait what he was going to tell me. Next thing I know he drove off and he did not tell when he is coming back to resolve my problem with the skunk. Today is Sunday and I have not received not even one phone call about my solution… There is no communication at all. This is really bad customer service.

My fiancée and I have, hopefully had, an awful bedbug infestation. She called Casey who then made a same day appointment. Unfortunately I was sleeping in (it was my day off) and missed him. He returned later that day and gave us an inspection. We scheduled a next day treatment, and he worked quickly and efficiently. He was also very friendly throughout the whole process. He gave advice and made recommendations on how to take preventative steps on our end, and offered a 10 day post treatment review of the apartment!
I have recommended him to everyone in my building for inspections and treatment if they need it, because no one should have to deal with bedbugs.

I don’t usually leave reviews either… but Casey and John were honest and helpful. They could have told me I had insects in different places, and I probably would have believed them and had to pay for it; but they didn’t. They didn’t force a contract on me — and I will probably sign up now they didn’t force it on me.
I called 3 other places yesterday: 1) one would not give an over the phone estimate 2) One wanted to charge $$ and bring out a team of dogs to look for bugs 3) and the other was really $$. ((all of them in the top 5 on the list)).
I liked the honesty, the friendliness, and the responsiveness of Loudoun Lawn and Pest Management. I will be using them again. I will give them 5 stars when I see the results of the spray.

I called on a Monday morning and the owner (Casey) came out that same day in the afternoon to spray my lilac bush to get rid of the hornets that were striping the bark off the bush. When I showed Casey where I thought the hornets had made a nest– under the siding on my house– he didn’t find a hornet’s nest, but he did find a BAT living there!!! (No wonder my cats were going crazy near that window at night!) Casey then captured the bat and let it go– and then he fixed my siding so the bat couldn’t return. Very professional, nice and polite– and he didn’t even laugh too much when I ran out of the room screaming when I realized there was a bat living right outside my window! I will definitely call this company again if I have any future pest issues!!!

Let me begin by saying I never ever leave reviews. — I called Loudoun Lawn & Pest yesterday after being left a calling card from a pest and I had to leave a message. In less than a minute, I received a returned phone call. Casey (the owner) was very personable on the telephone and assured me that someone would be here between 9am — 11am this morning. I am gravely afraid of these pests and needed someone to give me an estimate and fix the problem as quickly as possible. Casey arrived as promised was very professional and extremely knowledgeable about our issue. He performed a very thorough inspection, showed me what he found and he was able to devise a plan to remedy the situation. Needless to say, my estimate transitioned to a done deal. I was very impressed that he had listened to my issue, provided me with a next day appointment, gave me a very fair estimate and came prepared to treat all in a matter of 24 hours.
Stop reading reviews and call them already!

I’ve been a quarterly subscriber to Loudoun Lawn & Pest for several years now, after I took a chance on them as a new, local, and unproven pest management company over the plethora of other established, but poorly-​rated large commercial entities. Their representatives convinced me of their dedication to customer service, and successfully treated and resolved the massive ant problem at my new house.
Flash-​forward to today and — while their website has some Google issues, their phone mailbox is full, and I’ve questioned some of their reps’ knowledgeability regarding what insects they’re addressing — what matters is customer service and results, and Loudoun Lawn & Pest still delivers.
They respond to emails and answer phone calls during business hours reasonably promptly, put up with my endless questions and occasional unfounded bug-​panics, are quite friendly and cheerful during their visits, are willing to put on shoe-​covers inside the house (seriously, this is important to me!), and have successfully resolved each issue to my satisfaction (as much as one can for bugs before they find their way in again). Although I have to ask to find out the exact day I’m scheduled for, they do show up promptly when appointed to, and have accommodated me by planning work when I’m home.
I’ve called them for paper wasps on my deck, behind my siding, and inside my windows; ants climbing my foundation and deck posts; carpet beetles installed with the new rugs; mud daubers infiltrating my bathrooms; and birds in my ceiling vents (capped them with mesh filters, too!).
They are reasonably-​priced, seem knowledgeable about the treatments they use, are responsive and patient, available for emergencies on short notice, and ultimately effective. As long as this level of service is maintained, I will continue to enlist them for the foreseeable future.

I woke up realizing one morning that we had bed bugs. We’d had them for several months, but were unaware. I called several places, but wanted something done immediately. John came out the next morning and treated my bedroom. He thought one treatment would be enough, but by the second week, there seemed to be still an astounding number of bed bugs. I called John and he came back the next morning, treated my room again, and by the third day after that, I saw only a bug here and there. By a week later, I saw none. I was impressed with John’s handling of my situation, and their understanding of the urgency I felt. These are def. the people I would call for any pest management control.

Had yellow-​jackets in a tricky spot, in a window frame, that I didn’t feel like I could deal with myself. Never hired an exterminator before. One phone call, they were here in less than two hours, and John took care of the whole thing quickly and efficiently. Would highly recommend them!

After a missed line of communication these guys really stepped it up and came through for us. We were having major ant issues and the technician, John, came out this afternoon. He was very thorough and explained everything as he was doing it. Then, as a result of the initial missed appointment, he refused to let me pay for the service. These guys are top notch and we will be using them again for sure.

Seems like I have the one dissenting review about this company. Well, regardless, I’ll give my story and let the Unilocalers decide for yourselves.
I hate spiders. And crickets. And stink bugs. And… pretty much everything creepy crawly that Virginia seems to be home to. So, I called Loudoun Lawn and Pest. I thought if I could go with a small local company verses the big guys with the red diamond, I would. So, Loudoun Pest came out and gave me a quote which had a couple different options.
For comparison’s sake, I called the guys with the red diamond, and got a quote as well. I don’t remember exactly the quotes, but they were pretty similar. After thinking about it and continuing to be thoroughly creeped out by the bugs invading my house, I called Loudoun Lawn and left a message that I was ready to move forward with a service. I got one return message… so I called back and left a message again.
And I didn’t get a return call. After a couple days, I called again and spoke with someone and gave my address. He said he’d look into the quote and call me back. …and 1 ½ weeks later I’ve never gotten a return call. One message not returned, I can excuse. Maybe it got lost. But a total of 2 calls without a return call especially after speaking with someone? This yanks my review down to 1 star. So, I went with the guys with the red diamond.

We have used this company for a few years now after giving up on trying to keep ants out of our house ourselves every spring and summer. I chose them because they are locally owned and they have «greener» options for treatments. They have only had to treat the interior of my house 2 times during the spring ant bloom in our neighborhood, all other services and products stay outside. Although they don’t claim this, we have also seen far fewer stink bugs make it into the house since we’ve been using their regular service. Program was $ 150 set-​up fee then $ 85 per quarter. If you see bugs between treatments they come back out at no charge until you are satisfied.
We have also used them for summer yard treatments ($ 85 per month for program) due to rampant mosquitoes and the risk of Lyme disease from ticks in Loudoun county. Again they have less-​toxic options which I appreciate. Not all mosquitoes are gone, particularly towards the end of the between-​spraying period, but our deck is much more usable now than before. Haven’t seen a single tick.
Also called them out for squirrels in the attic this spring. I didn’t want to get stuck with a $ 15,000 bill for repairs and reinsulation like a neighbor who ignored her problem. They came out within a couple of days, did a full inspection and wrote up a quote for a couple of options for exclusion that were very reasonable. We ended up having our roofer (who was supposed to have done it during a replacement earlier in the year) do the repairs. Recently we heard some more scratching in the attic and Casey, the owner, came out within a couple of days to check it out. He suggested it might be a mouse, there was no sign of anything larger, and put down some rodenticide. The whole visit was at no charge because we are regular customers of theirs. We are very happy with their service and I have recommended them to neighbors several times.
