History

Established in 2015.

NOVA Derm Institute (NOVA-​DI) is nestled in the heart of DC-​MD-​VA area to meet your skin care and laser hair removal needs with years of experience. It’s the perfect amalgam of traditional esthetic treatments and medical grade skin rejuvenation for all skin types and colors.

It is our mission to get patients the results that they are looking for. Our lead Aesthetic Practitioner is Dr. Afsheen Ather, with past medical background in dermatology and now certified in Anti-​Aging Medicine (University of South Florida).She is a licensed Instructor for Master Esthetics and Lasers in skin care for almost a decade, in the Northern Virginia area. She has also authored a book on Aesthetics and has also worked on reviewing a textbook of the National Milady Esthetic curriculum. She is a member of American Society of Lasers in Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) as well as The Aesthetic Practioners Association (TAPA).
