Megaplex 8 at Thanksgiving Point

Love this theater. Great food. Great milkshakes. Delicious popcorn. Great seats and sound. I try to see the biggest movies of the year at Larry Miller theaters.
I recommend you buy the one-​time megaplex cup for like $ 15 or so. Refills are like $ 1 for life.
I enjoy the movie theater experience, and they do it right.

This theater is bustling with business every day of the week which is commendable. It means they are able to staff appropriately on slow and busy days and find the balance of being busy without making their customers wait.
The best thing about this theater is that you are almost always guaranteed to be able to get your tickets without going to the ticket booth. They have drive through ticket kiosks outside. Yes, really. And six walk up kiosks inside. On top of that there is a range of 1 – 6 box workers depending on the time of day of your visit.
Concessions can seem a bit crowded, but get in line and it typically goes by quickly. I have never seen empties in napkins or lids, or large messes on the counters. There are two sides to the concession counter, so keep an eye out to see if the back side is open of you are in a rush.
What also helps with keeping concessions flowing is if you order food you get a ticket and wait out of line for your number to be called. There are also specialty fountain drinks to the side where you fill up your favorite soda combination with an array of choices. This helps keep people moving in line.
The theaters are all digital, which means video and sound quality is on point. This is typical for most theaters these days. There are 3D, DBox AND luxury/​recliner seat options available depending on which showing or movie you are watching, so take care when picking your time slot. Standard seats are comfortable, well spaced. You do have assigned seating. The pre trailer commercials are usually entertaining with Megaplex, another plus.
The only complaint I have with this theater is parking. We went to see a movie at 3pm, granted it is a Saturday, and it was pretty full. This theater has a LOT of screens in it. So imagine a Friday night, opening of Star Wars, and everyone trying to find a parking space. Best bet is to carpool and give yourself time to surf for a parking space.
All in all, an awesome, clean, place to bring a date or family to catch a fun film.

It takes awhile to get here from the freeway, but parking isn’t too bad. There are several nice theaters, great concession items and good bathrooms. Ticket prices are fair. They show special films (IMAX, 3D, etc.) along with regular movies.

Great movie experience but it would be nice if all the megaplex thatres had the range of options the district and Jordan commons megaplex has especially the IMAX experience as well as VIP theater experience at Jordan commons. I hoped that the mammoth theater here would give me a similar experience but I returned with a bad headache once which I was not happy about and definitely something that megaplex can look to improve
is for this reason I give a 3 for what otherwise has been providing a great movie experience.

This movie theatre has awesome seats and great sound. You can reserve seats. Was good to see the place was pretty clean even with the hundreds of kids going in.
Small concessions but you can get free water.

This is one of the nicest movie theaters I’ve been to. It has felt and looked clean each time we’ve gone despite the gaggle of children (and adults) that tend to leave popcorn explosions everywhere. The ticket office and concession stand cashiers have always been very friendly and knowledgeable. Love their $ 5 Tuesday’s with discounted snacks.
The films have always played well and the sound system seems good in both the smaller and larger viewing rooms. The seats are very comfortable and the aisles are spacious. It is very well lit at the end of a movie and completely dark during it. A great overall movie-​watching experience.
Be aware that the pizza takes 5+ mins to cook so if you’re running late to your movie you may want to choose a different snack.
Also, I kinda geek out over the TV screen movie posters. Makes me feel like I’m in Diagon Alley with the moving newspapers and whatnot. :)

Best theater around. Very nice. Very clean. Lots of food/​drink options. Drive through ticket kiosks seem to be out of service more often than not.

Plenty of stations to purchase a ticket. I’ve never waited in line to buy a single ticket any time I’ve ever watched a film.
5 stars because you can get free water cups. FREE! Correct, you don’t pay $ 4.25 for a water bottle.

My favorite place to see movies! They really care about bringing value to their customers!

The food court is middle of the road. There is no Imax. The seats are great and you rcan make reservations. That’s worth a lot. Until the new place in the old Geneva land is built, this is the only option in Utah country to reserve your seats ahead of time.

This Megaplex location isn’t very different from all the others, and that’s a good thing! This spot is as consistent as the rest when it comes to food options, cleanliness, and modern audio and visual technology for you to enjoy your movie to the fullest. It’s also pretty close to the freeway, so it isn’t hard to find and parking is plentiful.

Love the theaters how you can pre order online. Always grab good seats, always the latest movies even misplaced my phone under the chair and someone else found it and handed it back those type of people.

This is a great theater and fun for everyone. If you have not been here, is a nice treat. Bit on the expensive side, but then again what theater is not anymore. The food is pretty good, I like that they actually have some real food options beyond the standard popcorn and candy. Great seats and a great night out.

Lehi’s Megaplex is one of my favorite places to catch a flick… and not only because it’s just minutes from my home. They offer online ticketing, clean theaters, and a larger than normal selection of food for a movie joint. For example, tonight I got carrot sticks to offset the popcorn, pizza hut pizza, & coke we also ordered. A poor attempt at trying to be «healthy» but at least they have options.

Always really good. they have reserved seating. Everything is clean everything is new and updated. You can order your tickets online for an extra dollar and sometimes it’s worth it on new releases. Ypu can get food and eat it in the theater. If you sign up for memberships they always give you free stuff the more you come.

LEHI, UT: This is a newer, larger theater with lots of parking. It is a little bit inaccessible and requires side roads to arrive. It has stadium seating, reserved seating, newer technology, an unfortunately still does not have any type of gourmet food option, drink service, adult seating, etc.
The riff raff/​mall rat factor is fairly low, though there are generally a fair number of kids running around. Stay after to visit Thanksgiving Point to make a fun day of it.

This is my favorite movie theater on the wasatch front. The theaters are new, comfortable, and they keep them clean. Ticketing is a breeze with kiosks placed at the entry and a drive up kiosk. The snackbar is amazing for a theater, offering food items and desserts at very reasonable prices. You still pay a premium for the usual movie items (drinks, popcorn, candy, etc.), but you can get pizza, gelato, and other items at fair prices. The location is between two I-​15 exits at Thanksgiving Point and only takes about 3 minutes from the exit. I recommend using an app for directions as the roads are slightly confusing if you aren’t familiar with the area. Still it isn’t a problem as the theater is visible as you approach from the south side.

I rarely give 1 star reviews and I seldom give 5 star reviews but this theater has it all. There are lots of kiosks greeting you at the door to pick up tickets ordered online. The ticket counter is well staffed for walk in ticket purchases. There are lots of food options, I tried a chicken quesadilla on my last visit and it was great. Tons of theaters with stadium seating. Seats are selected at the time of purchase so you’ll have an idea of where your seats are and how full the theater is. There are lots of restrooms conveniently located throughout the building. Overall great experience.

I had a good experience overall, but they tried to ID me 2 times before entering an «R» rated movie. I feel like that was pretty obnoxious for an attendant to stop me (from all the other people walking into the movie) and ask me, with a straight face, to see my ID. The full beard or the fact that I had bought my ticket less than 10 seconds ago (requiring an ID) didn’t deter them. They chose not to ID the stoned group of 16 year old boys going into the movie though.
The building had a clean set up and comfy seats, however I must state that they need to train their employees to be better at giving customer service.

Larry H. Miller would be proud. A solid four and a half stars.
We were determined to fit in a Saturday matinée of a movie we were dying to see. Sadly, the only time we could work with was here at this Lehi Megaplex. Oy… really? Lehi? I’m here to tell you — it’s really not that far! Once you round that mountain point, voilà — you’re there! Well, sorta…
I’ll air my singular grievance upfront — if one weren’t familiar with the Thanksgiving Point area, it would be somewhat difficult to get here, despite its readily available appearance from the freeway. It’s a bit of a winding road post-​exit, with adequate signage (if you pay attention) to guide you in. Hang in there — it’s worth it. On its own, this theatre is a worthy aspect of the Thanksgiving Point experience.
Walking in, the first thing that hit me was how clean and well laid-​out this place is. The ticketing kiosks, food court, manned ticket counters, arcade, theatre rooms, and restrooms are every bit as convenient, abundantly spacially appointed, and well cared for as my beloved District Megaplex (if not moreso in a few places!). The staff with whom we came into contact were friendly, informed, and efficient. And, it wasn’t crowded, nor lousy with packs of children and teenagers.
Ticketing couldn’t have been slicker. The standard Megaplex touchscreen kiosk did everything for us, pretty much. Pick your movie, pick your seats (hehe, how old am I?), even pick your food items all from this spot. I ran my rewards card to find that I had qualified for yet another free soda. (Worthy program, btw. We’ve had free food, drinks, and tickets by diligently using this card.) The moment the 47 tickets and receipts printed (yeah, just the two of us — not very green of you, Megaplex), we were lured to the food court.
Their food court deserves some honorable mention. Considering its conservative size, there’s lots of choice behind these minimal counters. The talented design team behind this space should be prominently honored with a wall plaque. Whoever you are, my compliments.
The varied choices kept us indecisive for a bit, but we finally fell for a basket of fries — half regular/​half sweet potato. Hubby enjoyed the regular. Not the very best SPF I’ve had. I wouldn’t even say they were delicious. What they were was sufficiently tasty, with (prepackaged) fry sauce, not overpriced, and hot. In addition to the expected movie fare, Pizza Hut, deli selections, drive-​inn alternatives, and several other food options are also available.
Two noteworthy food court features:
(1) Dipped gelato/​ice cream! The roughly 8 – 10 flavors in the freezer display looked great. Many people carried cups of it outside and inside our theatre. After solemn consideration the first time through, I was very nearly envious enough to get out of my seat and go get some.
(2) Magically electronic 1000-​flavor soda machines! I got Peach Crush. Peach Crush, people! I’d say that speaks for itself.
Let’s move on. The theatre rooms are, again, surprisingly clean. No typical multi-​plex ‘FTLOG, what happened in here?!’ smell; no sticking to any parts of the floor; no unidentifiable chair stains; no mess. Just clean, and popcorn-​scented. The semi-​reclining cloth seats are large and comfortable, which is such a considerate way to say, «Your oversized ‘corn-​eating ass is welcome to get comfy here.» (Thanks, Megaplex. We did.) Cup holders that duly accommodate food trays. Unusually luxurious amounts of leg-​room. Great surround-​sound.
As is prototypical of the Megaplex brand, they mercifully provide abundant restroom facilities in nearly every wing and hallway of this place. You won’t need to go far to redeposit that designer soda, I assure you.
I love discovering seemingly hidden gems! Even our movie was good!
