Lemon Cove Village

Don’t pay no mind to any review before April 2016. This park recently changed owners. The new owner has invested tons of blood, sweat, and tears into this park to make it a 10−10−10 Good Sam candidate.
Refreshed club house, rec room, office, men’s, women’s, showers, laundry, swimming pool, volley ball, tent area, horse shoes.
Just about every RV site is pull through with choice of 30 or 50 amp, best water around, sewer hook ups.
This park features Tiny Houses, but also big rigs, travel trailers, class Cs, tents, etc.
Right on Rt. 198. 23 miles east of Rt. 99. This park is a gateway to Sequoia National Forest, Lake Kaweah, Exeter, Three Rivers, and Visalia.

Very dirty, Uncaring owner, $ 25.00 a night more expensive than RV parks in beautiful Three Rivers. Drinking water is white in appearance. Community Center that is promised upon arrival is almost always locked. Forget about the WiFi! Claims to be a Tiny house community but upon arrival there are at least 5 signs with big red letters saying RV park one tiny little sign stating tiny house village oh irony. Maintains a RV park website and a Tiny House website. Anything to get you to pay a deposit or reservation over the phone, when you show up upset don’t expect a refund.

Friendly staff. Clean facilities with nice hot showers. New pool and landscaping. Beautiful and convenient location ½ hr from Sequoia Park entrance. Community kitchen and laundry facilities available. Sani-​dump.
Currently electrical and water being installed for full service sites. Call ahead if this is needed to ensure completion. Quiet place — we enjoyed our stay with young children! :-)

The description for 2 stars truly describes my experience at Lemon Cove Sequoia campground: «Meh. I’ve experienced better.» Reserving the campsite for 10 people was fairly easy, just called in and gave a credit card as a deposit. When I called a couple of weeks later, they had problems finding my reservation, but that got squared away pretty quick. We arrived in the mid-​afternoon, and received a chilly reception at the office. Did not feel welcome at all, nor did the lady there introduce us to any of the camp facilities.
The tent campsite was spacious, but the ground was dried hay/​grass. Guess it’s better than rocks, but the area was real dry and hot. Lots of the usual bugs, including a ton of pincher bugs that appeared on the tents as we broke camp. Had a few trees for shade cover and a water spigot for every 2 campsites to share, along with one picnic table. No fire pit — no wood burning allowed, although our charcoal grill was ok. Parking was supposed to be inside your campsite, but since we were at the end, we had plenty of space for our 5 cars and 4 tents. Dogs were allowed.
Bathrooms were basic — pretty much the same as the public restrooms at a rest stop or at the beach. They do have a common game room with a large, old tv and pool table. Did not try the swimming pool, or the laundry room. Basic slide and swing set for kids. Trash had to carried to the front of the campground for disposal.
This campground was all right if you need a cheap place to camp while you play elsewhere, because there’s nothing at the campground for you to experience or enjoy on site.
