Love the starbucks in here as well. Ths Albertsons is always clean, stocked, friendly, and fast. I love their floral selections, fruit platters, jalapeño bread, steaks! They actually have some wonderful bakers in thier bakery department. Their cakes are always lush, delicious, perfect for days after you buy them. They also write a mesage on the cake with very fancy lettering, looks so professional. i receieved tons of compliments on the cake and the lettering. I recently bought a cake at another store, not an Albertsons, and had them write happy birthday on it, it was hideuos lettering, my 7 year old could have done it better, even worse the next day the cake had a very off putting flavor, Albertsons cake have never deteriorated like that. As long as this Albertsons remains fresh, clean, and free of vagrants, i will return. Another tip for coffee drinkers, try their brand of coffee creamers! They beat coffee mate and the other ones by a landslide! so delicious i thinkk its called private selections!

The rotten meat, bad bakery items and expired products I overlooked. Go there again for camping supplies and found my debit was charged twice for same transaction. They claim it was only once. Bank statement says otherwise. No resolve with Albertson’s. So I have to do the butt dance with the credit card company.
My fault, my wife says they suck and won’t shop there. Me, I take the path of least resistance because the lines move. When you can’t get reimbursed for getting a fraudulent extra charge screw them. Something wrong starts with management

This review is for the bakery. I have been shopping at this Albertsons for 10 years and have never had a bad experience until today. I placed an order for a cake on Monday, for pick-​up Wednesday at 7am (today). The cake was supposed to have a screen print of an image from my companies mission statement. When I arrived at 7:30 the cake wasn’t ready. The woman said she needed proof the screen print image wasn’t copyrighted and that I had permission to use it. No big deal (although they could have called me) yesterday. I showed her an email from our HR department with the image and instructions for me to order the cake with that image. The woman says it will be 3 – 5 minutes to process. I remind her that we want the logo done smaller, because screen printed cakes (imo) are gross. So about 10 minutes later another woman bring the cake out for me to review. It was awful! I wish I had a picture (because it was so bad it’s comical). They took the image and then cut it out in a circle shape (the original shape is a polygon = six sides), with one side straight and the rest rounded, which cut off part of the image and the cut wasn’t even even. Plus you could see prior lettering under the image. I told the lady the cake was awful. She says «well you wanted the design smaller, so we have to cut it». Uh, no. You have to print it smaller, not cut off the design to make it smaller. They finally figured it out, but they made the design smaller than I wanted and didn’t cut off the border evenly, so while it looks better, it doesn’t look great. Since I was already there for over 30 minutes I just took the cake as-​is and left. (This was after they offered to let me cut the new screen print out myself — seriously).
What makes it worse is the poor attitude from the ladies in the bakery. They acted like I was a jerk, when all I wanted was something NOT awful, and what I paid for. The cake was $ 36, not cheap.

If I could I wouldn’t give this location one star. Came in here just to buy some cold medicine and the checker Yanira was just so rude not just to me but the person in front of me as well. I normally don’t shop at Albertson I usually go to vons but it was just convenient to come here. I so hope their actions don’t affect Vons because by far their customer service is awesome.

Thanks for the food poisoning from the fried chicken at the deli on 02÷18÷16… Never again a $ 15 meal ended up costing an urgent care trip.

You can’t beat buy 1 get 2 free steaks. Can’t beat it at all. I pretty much steer clear of this place for everything other than meat or produce (expensive) but the service and workers are friendly and helpful, which goes a long way these days!

I needed to some ground sirloin for some It-​sa meatballs!, I was planning to make later in the evening. When I arrived at the meat department, I was very surprised how well this Albertson’s Meat Department was kept. Not only was every very well filled, but everything was nice and neat. First thing I thought was that someone really takes pride in their work, which is a good thing of course.
I picked up a package of 90 – 10 ratio for $ 3.49 per lbs. They guy at the meat counter was very friendly even though I did not need anything from him directly, but it was good to know service was available. Service at the register was quick and also friendly.

Though we live very close to this Albertson’s, we try to go there as least as possible. Why? Prices are OUTRAGEOUS! I should specify that I’m referring mainly to their produce section, since we try to eat as many veggies and fruits as possible; but overall other products are over priced as well. Their customer service is also a hit and miss. My husband went there a couple of weekends ago to get some fried chicken and asked the servers how fresh it was. They assured him it had come out of the fryer within the hour. When he came back home to eat it, my daughter and him were telling me how stale it tasted. Also, the day before Christmas eve, I called their butchery to reserve some prime rib. I spoke to one of the butchers extensively about what I wanted and what I needed and let him know I’d pick up the meat by 6PM. He assured me it’d be there. When I went to pick it up at 6PM, he informed me my order wasn’t there anymore and that «someone must have sold it». So what the heck did I call him for? He tried to replace my order with some other cut that was 1 pound heavier. When I told him the cut wasn’t prime rib, he just told me, «Well prime rib costs $ 18 per pound!» I honestly was so in dismay I took the meat, at first, and left. Then as I walked down the aisle, I started getting upset. How dare he not only gave me what I ordered, did NOT apologize and, on top of that, tried to make me feel cheap? I’d have spent 20 bucks a pound for something I wanted, that was none of his business and his remark was rude and inappropriate. In the end, my husband and I decided we’ll only go there in the future for groceries emergencies. This place is too expensive for weekly grocery shopping and too careless to go there based on customer satisfaction only.

Do not order from bakery!!! I had to pay for the same cake twice!!! Manager was not helpful whatsoever it’s a child cake seriously held me up for an hr tryin. To get the cake so and yet had to pay twice

This is a duplicate store, the people who work here are very helpful. Cookie, one of the managers makes us feel like family. They carry motzaball soup

Albertsons is the just about the only real grocery store in the area. There is Walmart and Food for Less down the street but to me the quality isn’t the same. Yes Albertsons is pretty expensive like Ralphs and Von’s but I’m starting to see some of those places close down. If you have card with the more expensive grocery stores the prices aren’t that bad but if you don’t then forget about it. The location is alright the parking lot is big but the front of the store between the parking lot and the store is always crazy busy like a Walmart. Overall Albertsons is just alright but not my first choice.

Wow nice and clean., even the bathrooms are nice and clean. Easy to find things you need. Everyone seems friendly.

The 5 stars are for the staff. I usually stop by here on my way to work and Cookie and Sabina are the best. They are super friendly and always cheerful. You know they make a lasting impression on their customers when about every third person in line knows them enough to chat and usually gets a hug and a wish for a great day. They make my mornings :)

I find that the Albertsons staff members are friendly. They seem to be available when you have questions or need assistance. The grocery lines move quickly and you have the option to use self serve registers. The store is clean and organized inside and out. What I like most about this location is the fresh Seafood counter. Crab Legs, Lobster Tails, Shrimp, Scallops and a variety of fish: catfish, red snapper, salmon and others.
Today, however I was craving crab salad. The deli was loaded with all types of salads: Crab, Pasta, Caesar, Tuna, Bean and more. They are well stocked for the holiday.
This location also has a Starbuck’s and a Wells Fargo Bank for your convenience.
Unfortunately, the customer service counter has the worst customer service. The register person in this area is slow processing customers and they always seem confused and overwhelmed.

Seriously had the worst shopping experience of my life. First time ever to this store. Late night needed to pick up some groceries. Needless to say the people here are more concerned about getting us out of the store than getting our groceries. They literally pull shades over all the food like 15 min before they close. How are we supposed to see where the food is if they have it all covered. And then the employees are threatening to shut the register down so we cannot buy our food. This was the most stressful experience shopping. We were already tired late at not. If they had asked us if we needed help finding something rather than rush us out the door we could have gotten out food much quicker and been very happy. Big corporate tho, they don’t care and will probably never read this.

Location is clean and well kept. Prices are okay. Staff is hit or miss. I had a really great cashier who was nice and friendly and then next week had a grumpy teenager who barely even made eye contact. Large parking lot and they are open until 11pm.

Usually come here when I need to pick up a last minute item. Not the best place to shop, but convenient.
It’s becoming a very outdated supermarket.
Although if you are doing your shopping and need a little pick me up, they do have a convenient Starbucks inside.

First and foremost, this review is specifically towards the bakery department. My girlfriend and I decided to order a cake for my mom for her birthday. Today We came to pick up my cake and we was kind of disappointed it wasn’t made to our desire! The cake was not terrible looking but the top portion of the cake was nothing like we asked for (look at the attached picture and compare my receipt description and the actual cake). I did not want to make it a big deal, I just wanted to bring it to their attention, and maybe see if there’s anything they can do or to accommodate us for the mistake, maybe a discount. Little did I know… The lady Silvia (she made the cake) came to us and basically called my girlfriend and I LIARS. She said that’s not how we ordered it and I asked if anything can be done, she flat out said, in a agitated tone, well what do you want me to do? Obviously I could not request anything in such short notice and day of the event. Her co worker stood there and just watched as her co worker kept giving us an attitude. I was still totally nice about the whole situation and told her, IF there was any changes, which there wasn’t, you should have wrote it on the description, and that way she could have been covered from the current situation. She was very stubborn and did not accept what I said and just said sorry and ran off without offering a apology. It made me more depressed then angry!
To close out my crazy rant, the cake turned out average, but I couldn’t expect more from Albertsons. The fact of the matter is, I paid $ 50 dollars for a cake and I left infuriated. That should be the case when I left. The customer service was completely handled poorly and that’s what ruined my satisfaction for this place. Definitely will not be coming back here.
P.S: I was at the self check out for 15 mins w/​a frozen screen and no one was available or even bother to come and help me fix the machine to finish ordering my cake.

Worst grocery store experience of my life!
Milk, salad, produce was all old. Strawberries were moldy (no wonder they were on «sale»).
Staff was outright RUDE!
Meat counter guy acted like he was being HORRIBLY bothered to weigh some meat to sell (sorta his job…)
I went to self checkout and attempted to enter my phone number for rewards (which the system HAS A BUTTON TO ENTER!). When it didn’t work, I asked the «attendant» (who was too busy asking about about her lunch break to be helpful) and she rudely stated that the program had been out of existence for 4 years. When I informed her that I has only move to the area 2 years ago and someone FROM THAT SAME STORE had taken my information for a rewards card, she went off about how she’s been with the company for 23 years and knows what she is talking about… obviously, no customer service training was included in any of those 23 years.
Food is spoiled and employees are rude. Go to the Vons on La Mesa Blvd. MUCH better service and selection.
I WILL NEVER RETURN, DESPITE THE FACT I AM LESS THAN A MILE FROM THIS STORE.

I don’t know if prices are consistent from one Albertsons to the next, but I always seem to find great deals here. It’s not close to my house but it does serve as the go-​to shopping option for my «foster parents,» so I find myself here a few times a month.
The meat department always seems to be stocked, not picked over and running great specials on marinated meats. We’ve had the guy stock us up with some marinated chicken thighs a few times and they have always been tasty when thrown directly on the grill — no prep needed!
Parking is never a problem but other reviews suggest that this place can be a madhouse during certain hours. Thankfully I’ve been able to avoid that making navigating the aisles and checkout an absolute breeze. They also have a Starbucks near the front door, which is a plus for you coffee drinkers, but for me this place is the perfect pitstop for a slab of meat and a bottle of booze to start my weekend off on the right foot!
